Your role and responsibilities

Integrate ABB's Smart Building Energy Management Platform and digital products (e.g., power meters, smart MCBs) to deliver end-to-end digital solutions for customers, enhance the application stickiness of energy management products on the client side, and continuously build and accumulate industry best practices and standardized solution libraries.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Building division in China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for designing and planning comprehensive digital solutions for customers based on their industry characteristics and application scenarios, covering architecture design, product selection, technology iteration, and energy efficiency optimization, and actively participate in software architecture design and requirements analysis.
• Responsible for guiding customers in product installation, integration, commissioning, and other technical support to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of the solution.
• Responsible for creating solution documentation and best practices guides, providing technical training, establishing knowledge bases, and set medium and long-term technology roadmaps.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Electronic Information, Electrical Automation, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing digital solutions for smart building terminal energy distribution. Familiar with the infrastructure and system integration of energy management platforms and digital products in terminal energy distribution.
• Familiar with product application scenarios, common standards, and business processes in the terminal distribution industry.
• Digital Product and Solution Development Capabilities： Proficient in energy management platforms and use cases, able to integrate ABB and third-party digital products based on customer needs to deliver comprehensive digital solutions. Familiar with the entire lifecycle of digital solutions from design, product selection, development, to deployment.
• System Integration and Solution Implementation Capabilities: Proficient in industrial communication protocols commonly used in power distribution industry, skilled in installing, configuring, and commissioning management platforms, edge gateways, and digital terminal devices. Capable of software-hardware co-commissioning, able to guide customers in on-site solution deployment and independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during solution operation.
• Customer Support and Pre-sales Technical Consultation: Possess excellent pre-sales technical support capabilities, able to effectively address customer inquiries and develop solutions based on customer requirements. Possess capabilities in installing, commissioning, and deploying digital solutions, able to provide professional technical guidance and consulting services to customers.
• Solution Architecture Design and Software Development Capabilities: Understand the principles of digital solution architecture design and software development, use one or more programming languages to develop basic software(C#, .NET, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.). Good at leveraging AI technology to assist in solution design, software development, technical problem-solving, document editing, and other processes, thereby improving work quality and efficiency.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good teamwork spirit and willingness to contribute to the team’s success. Capable of managing changes and multi-tasks during the development Phase. Can adapt to business trip.
