Available Disciplines

• Upstream MSAT: Optimize the biological processes that create life-saving medicines, ensuring consistent quality while scaling from lab bench to global supply.

• Process Validation: Prove that manufacturing processes work flawlessly every time, giving patients confidence that their medicine will be safe and effective.

• Upstream Bioprocessing: Become a cell culture craftsman, nurturing living systems in bioreactors to produce the biological building blocks of life-saving vaccines — one harvest at a time.

• Bacterial Process Development: Dive into the science behind bacterial vaccine manufacturing — running experiments, applying process analytical technologies, and troubleshooting real production challenges to strengthen process understanding and control.

• Analytical Development: Pioneer new testing methods that will become industry standards, ensuring the medicines of tomorrow meet the quality patients deserve.

• Utilities Engineering: Maintain the critical infrastructure that powers pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring uninterrupted production of life-saving medicines.

• HSE (Health, Safety, Environmental): Protect employees and communities while ensuring pharmaceutical operations are environmentally sustainable.

• Reliability Engineering: Use data analytics and engineering principles to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency validation.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

​Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in:

• Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biophysics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemical Sciences, Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Sciences, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.

or

• Master's in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Biophysics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Sciences, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related life sciences, engineering, or related field.

Candidates must also meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship. 

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.​

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $27.00− $47.00 USD hourly. Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
