ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:   An opportunity exists for a newly qualified Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologis to join to team at The Mercy Hospital for Women for a 12 month fixed term.  The role will include supervised work within both the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Departments, including the outpatient department, emergency department, operating theatres and labour ward as well as participating in the on call roster.  The role will be supported by the Clinical Directors of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and by the broader consultant workforce.  

  • Mercy Hospital for Women, 163 Studley Road, Heidelberg.  Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. 
  • Full time or Part time to be considered
  • Provide quality patient-focussed care to women and their family, using a holistic approach

  • Current FRANZCOG
  • Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
  • Eligibility to work in Australia

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
