About the Role

As a Technical Services Co-op, you will support projects that help bring new products and product updates to market within a manufacturing environment. Working alongside teams across Technical Services, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing, you will gain hands-on experience supporting new product launches, product transfers, packaging changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to develop project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills while contributing to real business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product launches, product transfers, packaging updates, and raw material changes.
• Assist with project planning, timeline development, and progress tracking to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and completion of key deliverables.
• Participate in impact and feasibility assessments for product and process changes.
• Track project requirements, action items, and milestones while maintaining project documentation.
• Support the development and execution of product launch strategies.
• Help identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the manufacturing site.
• Analyze project data and prepare reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders.
• Support compliance with quality, regulatory, and site requirements.
• Collaborate with global and site-based teams to support new products and technology transfers.

Essential Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding technical information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in manufacturing, technical operations, or project management.
• Experience leading school projects, student organizations, or team-based activities.
• Familiarity with project management tools or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience presenting information to groups or project teams.

Eligibility and Program Requirements:

• This Co-Op requires working at the designated location. Candidates requiring relocation are responsible for arranging and funding their own housing, transportation, and relocation needs.

• Candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/ week) Monday-Friday ~8am-5pm for 6 months.

• Candidate must be authorized to work in Puerto Rico and will not require sponsorship in the future. Work authorization documentation will be required during the application process.

• The position is based in Guayama, PR, requiring an onsite presence of 5 days per week

Expected start date: Jan. 2027  

Compensation for this Internship/Co-Op is based on academic standing and degree program:

• Freshman: $18.00/hour

• Sophomore: $20.00/hour

• Junior: $22.00/hour

• Senior: $24.00/hour

• Master's Student (Non-Engineering): $26.00/hour

• Master's Student (Engineering): $28.00/hour
