Position Overview:

As a Senior Game Designer, you will be responsible for new features, up to and including bold beat scope and impact. You will take on more complex design challenges and lead the development of key game mechanics, levels, and features. As an adept in systems, mechanics, and player experience; you will be accountable for maintaining coherence and balance across entire game. Support the leaders by providing experiential insights from the player perspective. 

What You'll Do:

• Ideate and design new levels, gameplay, systems or features with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with developers, artists, product managers & other stakeholders to integrate design elements into the game
• Ensure technical feasibility, clear visual direction and high ROI from design solutions
• Conduct research and apply competition insights to support design concepts and ideas
• Create design solutions to drive business impact while leveraging player experience and game KPI’s
• Analyze and deconstruct competitor games to stay up to date on the market & share actionable insights & learnings
• Present compelling design pitches & project visions to stakeholders
• Create & maintain comprehensive game design documentation for the team
• Tune and balance complex gameplay mechanics to ensure an engaging player experience
• Playtest designs, conduct player research and iterate on designs based on feedback
• Prototype, propose new designs, and develop solutions to improve existing systems and address complex design problems, ensuring all efforts are explicitly aligned with the high-level strategic goals of the game
• Ensure a high level of quality to achieve the best player experience

Position Overview:

As a Senior Game Economy Designer, you will build and optimize in-game economies that balance engaging player experience with sustainable monetization. Applying data-driven models and game design principles, you will focus on improving long-term retention, revenue, and player satisfaction throughout the game’s lifecycle!

What You’ll Do:

• Economy Design & Optimization: Design, manage, and optimize complex in-game economies, including virtual goods, currencies, pricing models, and reward systems for events and progression paths. Set ideal pricing to balance long-term player satisfaction with strong monetization opportunities.
• Modeling & Simulation: Build models, predictive simulations, and prototypes to proactively forecast the impact of game features, content updates, and game balance on player behavior.
• Data-Driven Strategy: Define critical metrics, plan A/B testing, and analyze game data to continuously iterate on live features and address economic issues. Ensure balanced revenue growth without sacrificing player engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Game Design, Data, Engineering, and LiveOps teams to deliver impactful features and craft the most efficient experience for players. Provide expert advice and support data-informed decision making across the studio.

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of prior experience in mobile/freemium games in roles such as economy design, game design, data science, liveops, or product.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking, with proven experience in data-oriented projects.
• Strong interpersonal communication, highly collaborative, open-minded, and self-motivated.
• A degree in economics or a related field.
• Advanced level of English.

Position Overview:

As a Marketing Artist on our user acquisition focused creative team, you will play a significant role in promoting Zynga’s mobile games. You will work closely with our marketing creative team to produce visual communications that showcase exciting features of upcoming games, as well as live features and events of current titles. This responsibility requires an ability to execute quickly and efficiently against a broad range of tasks across all areas of the game’s portfolio, from creating promotional images & motion graphics to helping edit 2D animation.

You will be a key, hands-on figure in the overall design pipeline, collaborating with stakeholders  to produce compelling content that engages audiences to install and play our mobile games worldwide.

This role will be based from Zynga's Gram Games offices in London. Gram embrace a hybrid work environment, within this role, you would work 2 days per week in our London office and the remaining days at home.

What You'll Do:

• Create new, original creatives, guided by feedback from the team and UA
• Identify new market trends and conduct creative analysis of competitor ads
• Begin to build relationships with external agencies and partners via meetings and workshops 
• Produce documentation for creative tracking and insights based on in house data
• Work independently and without close supervision, but check-ins regularly 
• Be agile, take ownership of projects and responsibility quickly and efficiently to new demands, priorities or changes in direction 

What You Bring:

• Experience in a similar role
• Understanding and experience working with casual mobile games
• Advanced knowledge of key creative software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience working on live projects or products 
• JIRA experience desirable but not essential
