The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strong technical contributor to drive AI/ML innovation and deliver real business impact through intelligent solutions.
You’ll:
- Identify high-impact opportunities using AI/ML to solve customer and business problems
- Partner with stakeholders and influence decisions through data-driven insights
- Build and deploy end-to-end ML models (including LLMs) using structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable data and ML pipelines
- Take full ownership from idea to production, delivering measurable business outcomes
This role is ideal for someone who can combine deep technical expertise with business thinking to simplify complexity and build impactful, production-ready AI solutions.
About You
- 7+ years of experience in the data science/machine learning domain, preferably with hands-on end-to-end model building experience
- Curious mind to learn, explore and identify biggest customer opportunities
- Build strong relationships across both technical and business/product teams, earn trust with leadership
- Driven towards forming opinions and conclusions through data and experimentation, rather than anecdotes and hearsay
- Willingness to dive deep into the tech stack as well as hands-on coding
- Experience in building end to end ML models, across the ML lifecycle
- Strong communication and leadership presence
- Technical skills- hands on with scripting required, with knowledge or willingness to learn tools/softwares. Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, Statistical modeling, experience with AWS/Azure/GCP ML suite
- Experience in the following domains/industries preferred- SaaS, ecommerce, pricing or payments
- Bachelors/Masters in a technical or natural sciences domain from a top university

The Team

As part of the AIMS team (AI, ML, and Science), you’ll work on applying advanced AI and data science to enable total monetization across Zuora’s product suite and beyond.
The team operates at the intersection of AI, business strategy, and product innovation, solving high-impact problems like pricing, forecasting, segmentation, and optimization. The tech stack includes Java, Spring, Microservices, Kafka, Spark, NodeJS, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AngularJS.

The Opportunity
Zuora is re-architecting CPQ for the next generation—moving beyond traditional configuration and pricing into AI-driven, agentic quoting systems that directly impact revenue growth and deal velocity. This role sits at the center of that shift, driving the core CPQ platform (DealDesk + pricing foundations) while unlocking high-leverage capabilities like agent-assisted quoting and pricing optimization (CPQ-x).
You’ll tackle hard problems at the intersection of distributed systems, pricing complexity, and applied AI—from building scalable pricing engines to embedding intelligent agents into quote workflows. You’ll define and deliver the technical foundation for agentic quoting, de-risk critical GTM and product gaps, and shape how Zuora monetizes AI to drive measurable pricing uplift and sales efficiency.
About You
You’ll be successful in this role if you can own complex systems end-to-end and translate ambiguity into scalable, production-grade platforms. You’re equally comfortable going deep on architecture (e.g., pricing engines, distributed systems) and driving alignment across product, GTM, and data teams to ship high-impact capabilities.

* Have significant experience leading backend/platform engineering teams building large-scale SaaS systems (CPQ, billing, pricing, or similarly complex domains).

About the Team
The CPQ Engineering team owns the systems that sit at the center of Zuora’s revenue engine—powering how deals are configured, priced, and transacted across the Subscription Economy. The team is responsible for building scalable, high-correctness platforms that connect CRM, billing, and downstream financial systems.
We work closely with Product, Data/ML, Sales/GTM, and Finance teams to ensure pricing and quoting workflows are both flexible and operationally sound. This includes deep collaboration on DealDesk workflows, pricing strategy, and embedding AI-driven capabilities directly into sales and quoting processes.
The team operates as a distributed engineering organization, with a strong bias toward design-first development, async collaboration, and clear technical ownership. Decisions are driven by data, system constraints, and long-term maintainability rather than short-term patches.
Engineers on this team gain exposure to core revenue systems, AI-driven product innovation, and cross-functional problem solving, with opportunities to expand scope across CPQ, Billing, and broader platform architecture while developing as technical and organizational leaders.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Solution Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end implementation delivery for enterprise customers.
You’ll:
- Own delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and aligned to customer outcomes

About You
- Overall 10+ years of enterprise software experience, with at-least 5+ years as a program/project manager
- In-depth knowledge of and experience implementing enterprise software applications, such as ERP, CRM or SCM, across a range of customers, from SMB to Fortune 500.
- Previous experience with subscription billing and/or revenue implementation projects is a strong plus.
- Experience with SaaS-based implementation is very strongly desirable
- Strong client service and/or management consulting experience
- Strong ability to manage implementation financials, recognising the importance of both budget management and services revenue management
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent engagements
- Successful candidates must have strong communication and problem-solving skills with strong customer focus with a results-outcome orientation
- Executive presence and comfort. You have experience and are comfortable with C-level communication.
- Comfortable working with and managing ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Proven ability to present technical solutions effectively to diverse stakeholder groups and to engage effectively with senior executives of large enterprises on both technical and business solution topics
- Have developed domain industry or business process skills
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of architects, consultants, and developers
- Demonstrated experience Drives adoption through achieving business goals and innovation
- Demonstrated experience working with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team
Technology experience or awareness in the following:
- ERP, CRM, accounting/revenue systems, provisioning systems

- PMI Certification is a plus

- Deep experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, including complex modules, state management, and governance.

The solution architect is a key member of the professional services team responsible for the design and architecture of Zuora solutions. The position requires strong consulting skills with the ability to effectively command a room. The solution architect plays a lead role during the implementation, identifying and documenting client business requirements, mapping and configuring the Zuora solution to meet the client’s requirements and providing guidance to the client to achieve a successful implementation. They must identify potential issues and risks early in an implementation to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. A solid candidate will have an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan, prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely while occasionally getting together with your team for office visits, events, or offsites. Of course, you’re welcome to come into the office more often if you’re nearby.

About You
- Must have enterprise level experience, within a professional services organisation, as a Solution Architect and/or Business Consultant with a leading technology consulting or product company, delivering moderate to complex ERP, billing, revenue, procurement and/or CRM solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and architect the value of our solution and the best practices to implement it
- Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
- Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
- Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
- Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC - right from running the client facing workshops, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a diverse and distributed team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment
- Experience with accounting and be able to converse effectively with Finance teams

- Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and architect the value of our solution and the best practices to implement it
- Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
- Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
- Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
- Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC - right from running the client facing workshops, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a diverse and distributed team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment

The Team & Role
As a Sr. SDET, you will be working with a team of talented engineers to drive quality, be the voice of the customer and influence teams to build quality into every phase of the SDLC. You will have a broad understanding of the zuora ecosystem as well as in-depth knowledge of the area you support.

What you’ll do
- Drive quality best practices and set the quality standards/bar using metrics
- Influence product quality by surfacing risks, trade-offs, impact to customers
- Technical capacity to develop tools, frameworks, test automation & drive adoption of tools and frameworks
- Drive AI initiatives to optimise the quality processes at different levels
- Proficiency on adapting to AI driven tools
- Drive quality focused discussions (test plan reviews, bug triage, customer issues)
- Partner & collaborate with customer facing groups to better understand how the product is used by customers
- Broad understanding of CI systems and ability to come up with improvements to drive efficiency
Your experience
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or relevant education/experience.
- 8+ years in software testing, test automation or test development role
- Proven experience with delivering high quality software products within a full development lifecycle
- Experience with and good understanding of OO programming and concepts, preferably Java.
- Has worked with automated tools and testing frameworks to optimize test case development and execution
- Good verbal & written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
- Good exposure to AI-driven tools
- Work well in an entrepreneurial, team environment and be willing to remain vocal with thoughts and ideas.
Nice to haves
- Experience testing in a distributed system, service-oriented architecture or SaaS product is a big plus
- Experience with CI systems and tools and good understanding of test pipelines
- Strong grasp of various QA and SDLC methodologies. Experience with Agile Methodology is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies (Docker, AWS) is a plus
