Our mission is to electrify the world’s homes for healthy and sustainable living. Residential electrification is an extraordinary decarbonization opportunity - 145 million homes in the United States account for 20% of our climate emissions. But today electrification is painful - it’s too complicated, time consuming, and expensive. So we’re building a new experience for homeowners, contractors, and utilities. Zero bridges the gap between the digital and the physical with a frictionless experience that makes electrification fast, easy, and affordable. Join our team to build a world class consumer experience that just so happens to electrify America.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an early stage company of talented Designers and Engineers, led by seasoned climate tech veterans. At Zero, Senior Designers are individual contributors that report to a Lead Designer. You will work in small teams (1 Designer and 1-2 Engineers) in six-week cycles to take loosely defined projects and deliver new features. Senior Designers are given broad latitude to make project-level design decisions and are expected to operate effectively with minimal oversight. We are relentlessly focused on sustainable productivity. You should expect long stretches of deep work, minimal standing meetings, and effective in person collaboration with stakeholders and peers. We value and support a healthy work-life balance so you should also expect flexibility around your personal life.
At Zero, Product Designers are generalists - they own product management, UX, and UI. Senior Product Designers will also collaborate extensively with the leadership team, helping to transform early ideas and business opportunities into a cogent product vision and roadmap. And because everyone on the team is a builder, Senior Product Designers also build early prototypes that will bring new products and features to life. We primarily use Figma, but Designers are increasingly using AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping.
Some examples of products that our Design team supports are the redesign of our mobile app for homeowners to scan their home, as well as a new mobile app for contractors. We are also working on the evolution of a web based design tool for HVAC systems, and various B2B web productivity tools for contractors and utilities.
You are a generalist with exceptional taste for design. Whether it’s researching user needs, brainstorming concepts, testing prototypes, or building features, you want to own projects from beginning to end. You have at least five years of professional product design experience and are comfortable working with sticky notes, whiteboard markers, Figma, AI tools, and front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS).
You are a detail oriented systems thinker. You want to own the whole product, not just isolated features. You always anchor your work on user needs, and are excited to meet users where they work, whether in the office or in the field. You may not have experience in climate tech or building science, but you are eager to dive into the messy world of residential electrification.
You have an eye for elegance - the confluence of beauty, effectiveness, and simplicity - and you have a proven track record of building elegant digital experiences. You value functional beauty in the physical world, and you are excited to build a product that will create healthy, comfortable, and sustainable living spaces for our customers.
You have strong opinions about AI in the Design process. Agentic design tools - Claude, Lovable, Figma Make, and whatever comes next - are a core part of how you work. You have a point of view on which problems they're great at, where they fall down, and when to keep a human in the loop. You treat your AI toolchain the way a craftsperson treats their workshop: opinionated, evolving, and always sharpened.
You are a pragmatic team player and self-starter. You have a growth mindset and love tackling complex problems. You know that products only matter if they ship. You are eager to collaborate with leaders, designers and engineers across Zero, as well as customers in the field. You know that hard decisions and tough tradeoffs are required to deliver projects within a fixed time box. You want lots of freedom, but you know that comes with the responsibility to communicate and deliver.
You are enthusiastic about in-person work. You love engaging in healthy debates with teammates and converging on solutions in real time through whiteboard sessions and collaborative workshops. You want to know your users by name, meet them in person, and you want to see them smile when they use your designs. You live within 50 miles of Denver, CO or are willing to relocate.

NOTE: We use AI plenty ourselves, but for these questions, the answers that sound like a real person tell us the most about you. We read every application that comes through, be yourself, don't overthink it.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketer to own the conversion engine that turns interest into appointments. You’ll own how Zero Homes acquires customers across our website and mobile app.
You’ll lead the optimization of the digital customer journey from website through app and run the testing roadmap that compounds conversion week over week. You’ll support our biggest launches — new product categories, new state expansions, new utility programs, and new app features — by translating each one into the landing pages, in-app moments, and market-specific content that move homeowners through the funnel. You’ll influence priorities within content production to prioritize the work that drives conversion and customer delight.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an early stage company of talented engineers and designers, led by seasoned climate tech veterans. At Zero, Senior Engineers are individual contributors that report to a Lead Engineer. You will work in small teams (1 designer and 1-2 programmers) in six-week cycles, to take loosely defined projects and deliver new features. Senior Engineers are given broad latitude to make project-level design decisions and expected to operate effectively with minimal oversight. We are relentlessly focused on sustainable productivity. You should expect long stretches of deep work, minimal standing meetings, effective in person collaboration with stakeholders and peers, as well as flexibility around your personal life.
Our Senior Mobile Engineer will build the future of our consumer mobile app, which enables homeowners to get a design and quote for their HVAC project without an in person sales visit. The mobile app is our most important digital touchpoint with homeowners, and you will own features end-to-end on both iOS and Android. Today the app is built fully native with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose, and the groundwork has been laid for rapid iteration and innovation.
You are fluent on both iOS and Android. You may be stronger in one than the other, but you can confidently navigate both platforms, understand the frameworks, and ship production features in Swift and Kotlin. You have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent building native mobile applications that real users rely on.
You have strong opinions about AI in the mobile development loop. Agentic coding tools - Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and whatever comes next - are a core part of how you work. You have a point of view on which problems they're great at, where they fall down, and when to keep a human in the loop on review and verification. You treat your AI toolchain the way a craftsperson treats their workshop: opinionated, evolving, and always sharpened.
You are relentlessly customer-centric. When a real user hits a bug, you want to know immediately, and you are happy to drop your in-flight work to unblock them. You see customer-reported bugs as the most important signal you get, not a distraction from your roadmap. Production problems are part of the job, not an interruption to it.
You have a strong bias toward shipping and learning. You know the difference between recklessness and accepted risk, and you are comfortable weighing the severity of one user's problem against the benefit to everyone else. When the call is hard, you make it and move - you don't wait for certainty that may never come.
You care deeply about observability. Before a feature ships, you know how you'll measure it - what events you'll instrument, what dashboard you'll watch, and what the signal looks like for "working" vs "broken." You have experience with a product analytics platform (we use PostHog) and you view a live, populated dashboard as the reward for what you've built, not a follow-up ticket.
You are enthusiastic about in-person work and collaborating with your colleagues in front of a whiteboard. You live within 50 miles of Denver, CO or are willing to relocate.

About the Role
We are hiring four(ish) interns to join our team in Denver for Summer 2026. Interns will work alongside leadership on projects that matter. The Role
We are looking for a high-horsepower, Lead Recruiter to be the architect of our team’s growth. This is not a "behind the scenes" HR role; you are the frontline representative of Zero Homes in the Denver ecosystem and the operational owner of our talent machine.
You will own the entire lifecycle—from the first "hello" at a Denver Startup Week event to the moment a new hire signs their offer letter. You will act as a Strategic Advisor to our CEO and Leadership team, helping us move from reactive hiring to a data-driven capacity model as we scale to 55+ people.
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Execution: Manage end-to-end recruitment for Technical (Software/Eng), General (Sales/Growth), and Ops (Field/Trade) roles.
Calibration & Benchmarking: Partner with Leadership to build and maintain our internal compensation and equity bands using real-time Denver market data.
Denver Brand Building: Represent Zero Homes at local career fairs, university events (Mines, CU, CSU), and trade schools. You aren't just posting jobs; you’re on the ground at RiNo meetups and industry mixers building a "warm" talent pipeline.
In-House Community Hosting: Turn our HQ into a hub for Denver’s climate-tech community. You will lead the strategy and execution for in-house meetups and networking mixers designed to get high-quality local talent through our doors before they even apply.
Scaling Metrics: Track and report on the metrics that matter: Pipeline Velocity, Offer Acceptance Rate, Referral %, and Time-to-Productivity.
Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate—whether hired or not—leaves with a strong impression of Zero Homes.
Who You Are
Self-Driven Architect: You have a massive sense of ownership. If the process is broken, you don't just fix it—you build a system so it never happens again.
Master Communicator: You can pivot easily between a technical deep-dive with a Senior Engineer and a pragmatic conversation with a Field Operations Lead.
Data-Forward: You thrive on "Organized Chaos" but solve it with data. You prefer capacity models and trigger-based hiring over "gut-feel" recruiting.
Mission-Aligned: You have a genuine interest in heat pumps, renewable energy, and decarbonization.
Denver Local: You live within 40 miles of Denver, CO, and are ready to be a presence at our 31st St HQ and local community events.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (Internal experience in a high-growth startup is highly preferred).
Track Record: Proven ability to source for diverse roles, from Software Engineers to Field Technicians and Project Managers.
Tooling Expert: High proficiency with modern ATS platforms (Ashby, Lever, or Greenhouse), G-Suite automation, and equity management tools (Carta).
Drive: High energy, relentless follow-through, and a "Bar-Raiser" mentality.
Why Zero Homes?
Impact: You are the gatekeeper of our culture as we grow to 55+ people and beyond.
Location: Join us at our vibrant HQ in the heart of RiNo.
Mission: Be a foundational member of a company literally digitizing the electrification of America.
Growth: Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
