Role Overview
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas, supporting global demand through reliable, capital-efficient infrastructure. Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design leverages proven technology in an innovative configuration to deliver the same operational reliability and efficiency as traditional LNG facilities at significantly lower capital cost.
The Material Planner is responsible for developing and executing advanced material planning strategies to ensure availability of materials across project startup, commissioning, and ongoing operations. This role integrates material master data with demand planning to support project initial fills, commissioning and startup (CSU) spares, integrity-driven capital spare requirements, and long-term maintenance and operational spares. The Material Planner's responsibilities include evaluating inventory usage, maintaining material lead time data accuracy, coordinating with other internal departments for proactive material appropriation, and establishing inventory stocking levels consistent with facility demand. The Material Planner will use prior experience and technical knowledge to ensure materials are properly defined, planned, and aligned with equipment and operational requirements to support safe, reliable, and efficient LNG production.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate demand signals are incorporated from projects, maintenance plans, and operational requirements.
• Develop and execute material planning strategies supporting project initial fills, including first two-year operational and commissioning and startup (CSU) inventory requirements.
• Support development and validation of Bills of Materials (BOMs), spare parts lists and ensure planning-related master data fields are accurate and maintained.
• Analyze material usage history (turns), lead times and other variables to ensure the consistent and adequate supply of operational, capital, and consumable spare parts necessary for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Establish and manage planning parameters in SAP including MRP type, safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels, and lead times.
• Coordinate with other departments, e.g. engineering and maintenance teams, to gather input for material planning based on production goals, timelines, supplier and/or other global capacity constraints.
• Work closely with procurement and expediting teams to align planning strategies with supplier lead times, evaluate alternative materials to satisfy urgent production demands, and meet delivery performance.
• Track material usage volume, monitoring demand patterns, purchasing trends and evaluate excess or obsolescence.
• Prepare and maintain material inventory reports, performance reports and financial estimates of material inventory variations.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and system utilization.
• Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations for projects, operations, or industrial manufacturing organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Pursuing certification or certified in an accredited Supply Chain program (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, etc.).
• Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, and engineered materials processes
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to maintain productive vendor relationships and lead material planning meetings.
• Interest in and comfortable with being a part of a team with rapidly changing assignments and priorities.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented and able to clearly formulate and present material planning decisions.
• Strong proficiency using MS Office tools including Excel, BI dashboards, etc.
• Advanced experience with procurement and material management platforms, e.g. SAP, Coupa, Site Sense, IPMS or others.
• Periodic domestic USA travel may be required, ~10% or as needed to oversee projects and the remote teams.
• Work Hours: 7AM – 4 PM, In office Monday – Friday; some overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Role Overview

The Analyst, Material Master Data will own and maintain the inputs to the SAP Material Master database. The Analyst, Material Master Data will be responsible for the governance and administration of the Material Master including the execution of the processes, procedures and activities under which records are created, updated, and cleared from the SAP Material Master.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the designated workflow process for updates to the SAP Material Master is being adhered to and take action to update this workflow process based on changes in the Master Data Governance policies.
• Create and maintain material master records in SAP, ensuring all required fields are complete, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
• Organize the upload of initial spare parts lists (SPIR or SPIL) for Projects and Post Project Closeouts.
• Review and validate requests for new material creation to prevent duplicate or incorrect material records and resolve any issues with the SAP Material Master data accuracy or completeness.
• Facilitate periodic updates to the SAP Material Master data to ensure accuracy of part attributes including unit of measure, material type, valuation class, lead times, financial value, inventory planning levels (reorder points), sourcing rules, etc.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather inputs necessary to complete the SAP Material Master data including part numbers, sourcing rules, pricing, weights, dimensions, descriptions, photos, etc.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for material creation, changes, and deletions in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with data cleanup initiatives, including removal of obsolete materials and consolidation of duplicate records.
• Prepare periodic reports or metrics depicting the Material Master content, accuracy, and completeness.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance data quality, standardization, and system usability.
• Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in material master data roles for planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position for projects, operations, or industrial manufacturing organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Pursuing or certified in an accredited Supply Chain or Asset Management program (CSCP, CPIM, etc.).
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present key details and conclusions.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to maintain productive vendor relationships, organize and teal meetings and present updates to leadership.
• Comfort being part of a team environment with rapidly changing assignments and priorities.
• Strong proficiency in the use and manipulation of MS Office tools including Excel, BI dashboards, etc.

The Manager, Material Expediting will the lead a team of expeditors to execute the material expediting strategy and process, and drive supplier engagement to ensure on-time delivery of goods and equipment in support of the ongoing VG LNG construction projects and plant operations. The team consists of expeditors positioned across the various company locations in Louisiana and Texas.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development of the expediting end-to-end strategies to ensure Company’s supplier on-time and in-full delivery performance.
• Ensure the expediting team process and procedures are implemented and executed for best-in-class, consistent, and efficient expediting for materials, equipment, documentation, etc.
• Engage and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure projects and operations expediting requirements are staffed, proactively led, risks are anticipated and actioned, and status and performance is communicated effectively.
• Function as a working manager by conducting expediting activities for critical, high viability transactions where additional oversight and leadership is required.
• Interface with the VG Supplier Performance team to identify supplier performance issues and provide input to the Supplier Performance process for continuous improvement.
• Drive a system implementation to ensure successful handover of data from the purchasing team to a complete and accurate Material Status Report (MSR).
• Lead and develop the expediting team to ensure competencies and progression are advancing, and the expediting team’s performance continues to evolve and performance actions are taken.
• Maintain and advance key performance indicators to ensure the team’s overall effectiveness and functional performance is communicated to management.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in expediting, supply chain execution, or logistics management for projects, operations, or industrial manufacturing organizations
• Multi-site team leadership experience including the development of high performing teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline
• Certified in an accredited Supply Chain program (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CIPS)

The VGLC Service Center site supports a large installed base of safety-critical rotating and flow-control equipment, including cryogenic and process pumps, electric motors, actuated valves, and auxiliary systems. The Service Center is a 295-acre facility with equipment service and warehouse space, administration & training buildings, laydown areas, and truck and barge loading infrastructure with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway.
The Director, Service Center Operations provides single-point ownership for the execution of the site facilities strategy, end-to-end ownership, and safe operation of the Service Center Facility (VGLC). The role will support the launch and the ongoing support for the asset reliability programs for facilities as well as motors, valves, actuators, and rotating equipment supporting LNG construction, commissioning, and operations. The Director leads all service-center personnel including third party suppliers, tooling, test systems, repairables, and workflows, ensuring work is executed safely, to OEM and engineering standards, and in support of high availability of LNG and Capital assets.
