About the opportunity:
As a dedicated and embedded team member of our inpatient facility, the psychiatrist will provide skilled and compassionate care across our 14-bed adult inpatient unit. This position plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults who require intensive treatment and support. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families by delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care.
This position is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental and physical aspects of psychological problems for patients within the unit. The psychiatrist will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results on patients. The psychiatrist will also participate as a fully integrated and embedded treatment team member for all clinical consultation, treatment planning, team meetings, family meetings, and discharge planning/execution.

• Interprets physician prescription orders for medications and evaluates for dosage, route, frequency, interaction and demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based upon physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial and safety appropriate to the age of the patient. Counsels the patient about the medication prescribed with the appropriate medication information.
• Helps to manage prescription inventory by ordering and maintaining appropriate par levels. Reconciles order invoices to the computer inventory.
• Supervises and coordinates the pharmacy technician's activities and duties.
• Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals according to the prescription of the LIP guaranteeing safety and accuracy.
• Actively participates as a collaborative member of the healthcare team by communicating constructively, identifying clinical and interdepartmental areas for improvement by the involved departments.
• Supervises all aspects of the compounding of specialty meds.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is required.
• Previous experience with a changing work load, schedule, and priorities is preferred.
• State of Colorado Pharmacist license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate or Adult Immunization Training Program for Pharmacists Certificate preferred.

The Intake Specialist is a support position to both the clinical and administration teams at the Precourt Healing Center. This position plays a vital hands-on role as an initial contact during patient’s arrival to the facility, ensuring a smooth transition to care. This role is the main contact for pre-registration and admit-registration, maintaining professionalism in welcoming patients, visitors, and staff. This position supports the Intake & Admissions Coordinator to ensure a seamless workflow. The Intake Specialist also works closely with the hospital’s Utilization Management/Utilization Review, Admissions, Insurance Verification, and Financial Advisor teams. Given the high-acuity environment, flexibility is essential; this role requires filling multiple functions as needed on any given day in a fast-paced setting in which safety and caution is critical. Responsibilities include supporting onsite teams with various tasks, such as: crisis management (hands on and verbal de-escalation), coordinating visitation, receiving deliveries and delivering to floors, obtaining patient signatures, escorting visitors, answering phone calls, and assisting with unit floor tasks including patient care needs. This role may also involve supporting lab registrations and performing administrative duties like scheduling and coordinating requests.
This position is Full Time, 40 hrs/week: Weds 5-10pm, Thurs 5-10pm, Fri 5-10pm, Sat 7am-7:30pm, and Sun 7am-7:30pm.

1. Demonstrates knowledge of breast anatomy, pathological conditions, and safe administration of radiation.
2. Working knowledge of all mammography, stereotactic, and ultrasound equipment, protocols, and procedures that require the use of contrast agents, medications, and/or sterile techniques.
3. Ensures equipment quality is within safe limits per MQSA and ACR guidelines prior to daily use.
4. Identifies and reviews patient’s requisition for appropriateness of examination ordered with clinical diagnosis, and reviews all demographic information and patient history to ensure accuracy.
5. Performs breast imaging and reviews examinations for technical quality, presents completed examinations to the radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the continuum of patient care.
6. Clearly communicates, educates, and guides patients prior to, during, and after breast imaging procedures, to support patients toward the next step of their breast health.
7. Schedules diagnostic and procedural breast imaging appointments and assists in coordinating breast imaging exams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
8. Enters pathology results into the patient’s medical record.
9. Assists on the preparation of cases for Tumor Board.
10. Ensures the completion of work assignments and proper patient charge.
11. Organizes and monitors medical supply inventory, and communicates needs to Lead/Supervisor.
12. Acts as a team player to participate in the overall success of the department.
13. Participates in the orientation of new employees and healthcare professionals.
14. Supports Breast Center administrative needs.
15. Promotes breast health education by assisting in organizational promotional/educational events.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
17. Maintains 24 CEU credits according to A.R.R.T. guidelines every two years and stay current with CPR certification.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) for the Shaw Cancer Center and the Shaw at Home program plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient‑centered oncology and oncology‑focused palliative care in both clinic and home‑based environments. This dual‑role position functions as an advanced practice provider within medical oncology while also supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of oncology‑specific palliative care services.
The NP works closely with medical oncologists, the interdisciplinary cancer care team, and the palliative care team to provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of patients across the cancer care continuum—from diagnosis and active treatment through survivorship and end‑of‑life care.
