In this role, you will...
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to create delightful, effortless experiences for our users. You'll shape our products by understanding our users' needs and translating them into intuitive designs for our Cancer and Expert Second Opinion experiences. validating them frequently during their path from concept to polished product. If you constantly analyze and obsess over other product's experiences we'd like to hear from you!
This position will report to our Senior Director of Product Design and can work remotely. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:
- Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts for our Cancer and Expert Second Opinion experiences
- Build concepts and leverage AI to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes to help guide the future direction of the experience for our mobile and web applications
- Frequently conduct discovery research and usability tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile software product development teams that include Product Managers and Engineers to determine feasibility and align to the product's strategy
- Cultivate optimistic outlooks, promote a positive culture within your teams, and overcome challenges through endurance, grit, and persistence
- Incorporate well-crafted visual design and can leverage and contribute to a design system
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's in graphic design, HCI, UX, a related area of study is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- 7+ years of experience designing world-class apps with a strong portfolio of design work
- Strong aptitude for performing and synthesizing research, including contextual inquiry
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in leading design software such as Figma, FigmaMake, and Claude
- Extreme ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed in ambiguity
- Ability to design as a team, exploring and promoting new ideas, especially those that aren't your own
- You're self-aware and lead from a place of empathy
- Excellent visual design skills, typography, layout, and color usage

Senior Product Manager, Data Integration Platform (CONTRACT)

Transcarent is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the product strategy and roadmap for our data integration platform that powers the movement, validation, and transformation of enterprise healthcare data across the organization. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role sitting at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and enterprise healthcare and will be responsible for making complex data infrastructure reliable, scalable, and self-service for the teams and clients who depend on it.
You'll work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Client Success, and Implementation teams to define what the future of data integration at Transcarent looks like, from strengthening core ingestion pipelines and data quality frameworks to expanding operational visibility.
What You'll Own
- Define and drive the product roadmap for Transcarent's core data integration platform, governing how eligibility, claims, pharmacy, and other enterprise healthcare datasets move, transform, and land across systems
- Own the end-to-end ingestion experience from file intake and schema validation to quality checks, metadata tracking, and lineage visibility, helping to ensure downstream consumers always have clean, trusted, and timely data
- Drive platform reliability and scalability, partnering with Data Engineering to reduce pipeline failures, shrink ingestion lag, and improve overall data freshness across client datasets
- Build toward a self-service model reducing dependency on Data Engineering for routine operations by giving analytics, implementation, and client-facing teams direct visibility into pipeline health and processing status
- Define and enforce data quality standards across the platform, including validation rules, anomaly detection, and error surfacing that catches issues before they reach downstream reports or AI models
- Own the integration roadmap with upstream data sources and downstream consumers ensuring our platform can onboard new clients, datasets, and systems without linear growth in engineering effort
- Partner with Compliance and Governance teams to ensure the platform meets HIPAA and enterprise data handling requirements across all ingestion workflows
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning data platform, data integration, or data infrastructure products
- Deep familiarity with enterprise data concepts including ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT, schema management, data quality, and lineage — and the ability to translate these into clear product decisions
- Experience working with healthcare data including eligibility, claims, pharmacy and everything in between
- Ability to operate at both the strategic and the technical level - you can read a pipeline architecture diagram and write a crisp product brief for the same feature
- Strong cross-functional instincts — you know how to align Data Engineering, Client Success, Analytics, and Compliance around a shared roadmap
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping as you'll need to balance competing priorities with limited resources
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data lakehouse architectures
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI deployment in enterprise settings
- Background building internal or developer-facing tools

About this role
As Senior Product Manager, Identity & Eligibility, you'll own the strategy and roadmap for the foundational systems that determine who gets access to what across members, dependents, clients, and clinical staff within the Transcarent platform. This role sits at the intersection of our complex product ecosystems and plays a critical enabling role for nearly every experience we build. You'll partner closely with engineering, data, security, clinical operations, and client success to ensure that identity verification, eligibility determination, and benefits access are seamless, accurate, and scalable. This isn't just platform work - getting eligibility right is what makes personalized, high-quality healthcare navigation possible for the members we serve.
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap for identity, authentication, and eligibility - from how members enroll and verify themselves to how benefits and access rules are managed across client configurations
- Define and simplify the data models that represent member eligibility, benefits coverage, and account relationships across our internal platform
- Partner with engineering and data teams to build reliable, real-time eligibility determination that powers our Member-facing care experiences
- Balance the need for simplifying access patterns for users while maintaining critical security goals for the business
- Build internal tooling that enables client success, ops, and clinical teams to self-serve on eligibility lookups, troubleshooting, and configuration
- Define clear reliability, accuracy, and latency targets for eligibility systems and hold cross-functional partners accountable to them
- Track key metrics across enrollment funnels, eligibility match rates, and access failures
- Design forward-looking access, authentication, and consent patterns that balance strong security controls with low-friction, trustworthy Member experiences across web, mobile, and live care channels.
- Define identity and access patterns for non-human agents including delegated access, least-privilege scopes, and full auditability of actions taken on Member data.
- Partner with AI, security, and clinical teams to ensure AI-powered and automated experiences can safely interact with sensitive health data while honoring Member consent, regulatory requirements, and our internal risk standards.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on platform, identity, data, or infrastructure products
- Deep familiarity with identity and access management concepts including SSO, OAuth, member matching, eligibility file management, benefit file processing and how these concepts relate to one another
- Strong data fluency - you're comfortable with platform and identity concepts, can define and instrument metrics, and use data to prioritize and validate decisions
- Experience working in healthcare or benefits with an understanding of the foundational concepts of exchanging and storing Member information
- Excellent cross-functional collaborator who can translate technical complexity for clinical or client-facing stakeholders and vice versa
- Naturally curious individuals who enjoy discovering how things work and finding ways to improve upon them
- Humble attitudes and a penchant for solving hard problems
- Experience in startup environments is a plus!
