Our Brand Marketing Department drives the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives to boost The Trade Desk platform’s awareness, consideration, and usage. We lead holistic marketing programs in collaboration with a regional team of events, product marketing, creative, editorial, and digital teams. We manage industry sponsorships, align with Product Marketing and Sales Strategy, and coordinate sales events and conferences. By tracking KPIs and evaluating metrics, we continuously optimize our efforts. We develop regional expertise, maintain industry relationships, and analyze marketing initiatives’ impact on lead funnel metrics. Meetings with sales leadership help us present insights and identify effective programs. We support global brand initiatives and foster a culture of learning and innovation within our team.   

What you’ll do:   

We’re looking for a marketing leader, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when necessary. A results driven, storyteller who gets excited about simplifying data, building relationships and increasing brand awareness across the industry. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, this role will be responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts to support our ANZ Business team:  

• Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for Australia and New Zealand
• Be a true business partner to the sales leadership team as a trusted subject matter expert in region, working closely to create and execute the marketing strategy and innovative brand building initiatives    
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team (PR, Events, Digital, Product Marketing, Creative) to support the execution of 360-degree programs 
• Develop the content strategy and narratives for thought leadership reports, playbooks and events.    
• Establish marketing KPIs, understand the impact of our marketing initiatives on lead funnel including inquiries, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) to inform insights into the programs/channels that are driving conversions.     
• Present an informed POV to cross functional team and senior business leaders to ground our marketing initiatives in a broader business context 
• Balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term executional excellence 
• Manage industry sponsorships, client education days, roadshows, workshops  from content development, supporting executives through to success reporting.   
• Foster a team culture of constant learning and improvement, bringing and supporting new ideas.  

Who you are:   

• 15+ years above of relevant marketing experience and prior people management experience 
• Understanding of Digital Marketing, demand generation, analytics, event production and PR/Communications a must 
• Understanding of the programmatic advertising industry and adtech ecosystem is a strong bonus.  
• Proven experience working with and presenting to sales teams 
• Has concepted, developed and executed various campaigns utilizing all aspects of marketing channels including: Thought Leadership, Campaigns, Events, editorial and social content 
• Compelling storyteller obsessed with performance motivated to simplify complexity
• High EQ with the ability to build relationships across large teams and thrive in fast-paced environment. 
• Detail-oriented, take-ownership attitude, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects 
• Comfortable with white space - ability to break down complex problems into actionable work plans with test and learn agenda 
• Proficient in Salesforce, Marketo, Asana Bizible, or similar tool
• Based in Sydney, with ability and willingness to travel occasionally

This role is integral to telling The Trade Desk story in a compelling way to clients and partners across the Los Angeles market.  

What You’ll Do:

• Create compelling narratives that illustrate The Trade Desk’s value for brands and agencies 

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that engage clients across a wide spectrum of categories and partnership types, with a focus on automotive and entertainment  

• Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders, including Business Development and Client Services, to ensure consistent alignment on strategic initiatives. 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Research, Digital Marketing, Events, Strategic Positioning, Social, Creative and PR teams to roll out integrated 360-degree campaigns. 

• Lead content development for thought leadership initiatives including reports, discussion guides, and speaking opportunities that position The Trade Desk as an industry leader. 

• Track marketing performance through key KPIs to optimize ongoing efforts. 

• Support execution of key tentpole events and conferences in collaboration with our Events and Sales teams. 

• Help manage industry sponsorships and partner activations from contract to execution, ensuring brand consistency and maximum impact. 

• Contribute to the wider Brand Marketing team’s culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement. 
• Lead comprehensive marketing campaigns across North America, with the opportunity to shape global strategy and execution for defined categories and business units. 

Who You Are:

• You have 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or related roles, with exposure and foundational knowledge to the ad tech landscape.  

• You’re familiar with the advertising conference landscape, with hands-on experience supporting end-to-end event execution and stakeholder engagement. 

• You’re a strategic storyteller who can translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored for diverse audiences. 

• You have a collaborative mindset and thrive in cross-functional environments. 

• You’re comfortable managing multiple projects and workstreams with a high level of autonomy and ownership. 

• You are curious, creative, and motivated to grow with a dynamic team. 

• You are comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and can navigate ambiguity with confidence. 

• You have proven experience in executive-facing roles, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders.

• You have experience with productivity and sales tracking tools, particularly Asana and Salesforce.

What You Will Do 

The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing DACH is responsible for translating regional and DACH commercial priorities into clear, executable marketing programs across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and selected CEE markets. This role is a hands-on driving delivery, operational excellence, and stakeholder alignment, while contributing to strategy. 

This role partners closely with DACH Commercial Leadership and EMEA Brand Marketing to ensure programs are well planned, well executed, and delivering against agreed brand and growth objectives. 

• DACH marketing execution & integrated planning, translate EMEA marketing strategy into executable marketing plans in DACH across brand, campaigns, events, content and demand generation. 

• Lead delivery of integrated programs with clear timelines, owners, and outcomes, ensuring consistency and quality across markets. 

• Partner with regional marketing, PMM, Sales Marketing, Events, PR/Comms and Creative to ensure plans are joined up and realistic. 

• Balance strong execution with thoughtful input into planning discussions, surfacing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early. 

• Content creation & curation: Developing content playbooks for B2B events, thought leadership decks, case studies. 

• Maintaining and organising the content to ensure assets are easily discoverable and updated. 

• Sales Alignment: Collaborating with product marketing and sales leadership to align 

  messaging with sales strategies 

• Planning & contribution to strategy, support annual and half-year planning by contributing practical input on timelines, resourcing, and feasibility. 

• Bring market context and execution insight into planning discussions to help sharpen priorities. 

• Help translate strategy into clear calendars and delivery plans, protecting focus and avoiding overcommitment. 

• Stakeholder partnership & communication, act as a reliable day-to-day marketing partner to DACH Commercial Leadership, ensuring priorities are understood and delivered against. 

• Produce clear, concise communication (status updates, briefs, recaps) that capture decisions, next steps and ownership. 

• Own delivery for multiple concurrent initiatives, managing scope, dependencies, and timelines. 

• Establish a disciplined operating rhythm (check-ins, milestone tracking, risk logs) for priority initiatives. 

• Create and socialize clear ownership and RACI for programs to avoid ambiguity or reliance on informal coordination. 

• Ensure execution quality is high and learnings are captured to improve future programs.

Who You are 

• 8- 10 years of marketing experience across brand, demand, events or integrated marketing. 

• Previous experience in sales enablement, marketing, or content strategy roles. 

• Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle, buyer personas, and content marketing 

• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver against shared goals. 

• Solid understanding of programmatic advertising and the AdTech ecosystem. 

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity. 

• Fluent German and English.
