Our robust payments processing platform has powered SumUp’s global business for over a decade. The Card Not Present (CNP) Protect is a cross-functional team within the Risk & Compliance tribe that’s shaping SumUp’s global approach to fraud prevention. Our team is responsible for fraud prevention in our card-not-present products. We build cutting-edge systems and ML solutions for automated decision-making in the CNP space.
The Senior Data Engineer role is critical for creating a robust, high-quality data foundation that drives efficiency and enables data-driven decisions for the Risk & Compliance teams. You will build and operate the production data layer that powers automated decisioning for CNP fraud detection. You will own feature jobs and work closely with the ML Platform team to build and scale the pipelines. Our roadmap includes building infrastructure to generate and publish foundation model embeddings.

As Engineering Manager for Verification, you will lead the squad responsible for identity checks across all of SumUp's markets. About the role
SumUp is looking for an Endpoint & MDM Manager to join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will be the technical lead and architect for our global device landscape, acting as the bridge between high-level security requirements and day-to-day operations. About the role
SumUp is looking for an Endpoint & MDM Manager to join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will be the technical lead and architect for our global device landscape, acting as the bridge between high-level security requirements and day-to-day operations. Your mission is to transform our high-volume environment into a "silent" operation where every device is compliant, tracked, and managed without manual intervention. You will manage a fleet of 3,800+ devices across multiple regions, with a roughly 2:1 MacBook to Windows split, requiring deep fluency in both ecosystems.
You will join a global team consisting of System Administrators, and external admins across the EU and the Americas, reporting to the Head of Global IT. You will build a team, create detailed documentation, and provide strategic training to the wider global team.

In this role, you will develop and maintain the Cloud Platform infrastructure related to databases that serves as the foundation for our development teams. As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Global Accounts team, you'll own critical pieces of our bank account platform. You'll help us design and build a fully distributed, event-driven system designed to scale across regions with resilience and compliance built in.
You'll work primarily in Kotlin, with opportunities in Elixir and Golang. We practice Extreme Programming: small iterations, daily deliveries, and a focus on technical design quality and deep problem understanding.

As part of the Bank Activation and Revenue team, you will join a high-impact growth engine within the bank. Our mission is to guide merchants in unlocking the most value out of their SumUp Business Account during their activation journey: we aim to convert 100% of SumUp’s ecosystem users into active Bank users.
We own the critical journey from the moment a merchant opens an account until they understand how the business account can solve their business needs, making it part of their daily routine. To achieve this at scale, we are building a greenfield activation and engagement platform consisting of a series of initiatives and experiments to drive adoption and engagement of SumUp users with the business account. Your work will directly drive revenue by enabling seamless cross-selling of the entire SumUp product suite to millions of merchants.
