• Design, implement, and operate backend services and integrations powering the post-purchase fulfillment pipeline (barcode validation, mobile wallets, partner APIs, & inventory reconciliation). 
• Build 0-to-1 fault-tolerant systems and async pipelines (queues/streaming) that scale for peak event traffic and ensure idempotent, reliable delivery. 
• Own features end-to-end: from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and runbooks. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and QA, as well as two Operations partners: 
  • Active Support: enhances the post-purchase customer experience and builds tools for fans and support agents. 
  • Marketplace Operations: drives inventory quality and supply across events. 
• Instrument services with robust observability: metrics, logs, distributed traces, and alerting to proactively detect and reduce fulfillment breakage.

What You've Done:

• 3-4 years building production software with a focus on backend and distributed systems. 
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Golang, with experience building and consuming APIs. 
• Built scalable, reliable systems for real-time ticketing, barcode validation, and post-purchase workflows. 
• Designed async pipelines and streaming systems (Kafka or similar) to handle peak traffic with zero breakage. 
• Integrated third-party APIs, with bonuses for experience in venue systems, barcode providers, or mobile wallets.
