As Director, Artist Marketing with AWAL, you will work closely with a diverse roster of artists to ideate, execute and deliver industry leading, innovative marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with internal and external teams across the US, UK and internationally to drive audience growth via innovative global marketing campaigns. You will manage cross communication with A&R, commerce, promotion, audience development, synch, brand partnership and publicity teams. You will be the direct point of contact with artists and their management teams and responsible for the communication of all campaign aspects including set up, objectives, approvals, reporting and analysis. Additional responsibilities will include campaign management, budgeting, scheduling, social and streaming data analysis and reporting. You are a self-motivated strategic thinker; detail oriented problem solver and a passionate creative marketer with the proven ability to deliver measurable results in the current music industry landscape.

As AWAL UK Marketing Manager, you will for lead marketing strategy & initiatives for a wide range of AWAL's artists ranging from emerging and developing artists to some already established acts.
You will have 2-3 years' experience as a marketing manager, running a range of artist campaigns at a front line label or equivalent and be confident planning, budgeting and executing creative campaign strategy. You will have a proven track record of delivering 360 artist campaigns including both charting records as well as emerging artist development projects. You will be a digital native with a digital-first approach to campaigns, as well as have a proven track record in putting together a full campaign around a suite of physical formats for album projects.
You will love working exceptionally closely with artists and be someone with real vision and ideas on how to solidify an artist proposition as they push for cultural, commercial and critical success. As a hands-on marketer, you will be adept at creating, editing, and distributing compelling content across all major social media platforms and channels. In addition, you will feel confident working with artists who already have an established position in the scene and require more of a light-touch approach to ensure seamless execution of their vision as well as guidance on best practices. This would suit someone who has 2-3 years' experience as at marketing manager level at a front line label or equivalent, managing priority projects.
