The role…
At Soho House the Human Resources Manager will be a strategic business partner to the General Manager for the property they are responsible for. The HR Manager reports directly to the Regional Head of Human Resources. The HR Manager will be primarily responsible for the daily maintenance of company policies, procedures, and practices including employee relations, worker’s compensation, leave of absence administration and recruitment. Such deliverables include but are not limited to ensuring legal compliance; overseeing all aspects of wage, benefit, worker’s compensation, unemployment, training programs, implementation and administration of policies and procedures, and all employee relations such as team events, parties, morale maintenance as well as coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, and terminations.
Main Duties…
- Strategic business partner to local leadership, helping to manage all training and development
- Partner with the Regional Head of Human Resources on process improvements for Soho House & Co. growth.
- Participate in Unemployment, EEO, Wage and Hour, Worker’s Compensation, OSHA, ADA, Immigration and Naturalization Service hearings.
- Communicate and implement policies and programs to guarantee compliance to all employees.
- Instruct, train and ensure management staff knows how to interpret and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor recruitment, screening, background and reference checking of all Soho House personnel.

Seasonal Receiver - Soho House New York
The Role…
At Soho House, the Receiver handles and processes all food and beverage stock that is ordered for the house. As the Receiver, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall cleanliness of storage areas, back landing, dry storage, wash area, and walk ins, chef storage, freight elevator, and garbage room. A successful Receiver will maintain an efficient flow of goods, which involves documenting, storing, locating, and distributing stock for the departments. Responsibilities also include the inspection and sort shipments while keeping up with invoices to ensure orders are correct. We hope that you have a great eye for detail, strong reading skills, and an appetite for learning the ins and outs of a high-volume beverage operations!
Main Duties
- Receive all perishable and non-perishable beverage and food orders and verify plus document the quantity received of all produce, fruits, dry goods, liqueur, chemicals, and supplies.
- Provide support to vendors and management in the receiving of all other supplies as needed
- Check received merchandise (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable merchandise
- Distribute merchandise accordingly to food safety rules and storage orders.

The role…
At Soho House, a Line Cook II is responsible for maintaining a station or two, seamless preparation of food and sauces, and assisting Senior Chefs with service. As Line Cook II, you thrive in fast-paced environments and positively influence the team by demonstrating highly skilled abilities of two stations and remaining calm during a busy service.
A successful Line Cook II is a critical member of the team due to the focused and appreciated culinary abilities in two or more stations. Although not skilled in all stations, a Line Cook II is hyper-specialized and has a proven ability to execute all menu items properly from prep to plate and deliver top-quality dishes from two or more stations.
Main Duties
- Responsible for learning ingredients on all menu items and able to produce consistent and quality dishes in fast-paced and demanding environments and on two stations.
- Daily support in prep as well as kitchen maintenance, equipment, and inventory when needed.
- Daily responsibilities also include preparing food items in the pantry, fry station, and other kitchen areas while adhering to allergy requests and specific dish alterations.
- Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. In addition, be able to comply with safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

The role…
At Soho House a Host is one of the first point of contacts for members guests and staff before being seated for their dining experience. As a Host, you are responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operation(s)/Restaurant(s). The Host, has acute organizational and people skills which often in infectious and promotes positive experience from the moment anyone arrives up until their departure. Responsibilities also entail excellent service to all guests, members and staff via friendliness, professional, and organizational efficiency.
A successful Host, you may be responsible for training other reception team members on process and service standards set at Soho House. As an experienced Host you are required to be able to master our phone system, have a warm and friendly disposition, ensure all anticipated covers are accounted for during service and tables are ready for the reservation’s arrival.

- Ensure every member and guest is welcomed by name (if local/applicable) and new guests are welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner
- Answer high-volume phone lines and confidently answer standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries in full and with complete detail
- Create reservations for club/restaurants and assist F&B Managers on the floor with service standards and service execution

The role…
At Soho House, the Front Desk Agent, assist with checking members in to the property and hotel guests into their room as well as streamline various inquiries, risks and other matters that arise. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for receiving payments and balancing cash at end of a shift. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be well-versed with the property layout, briefed on special offers (when applicable), restaurant/F&B options and other amenities but not limited to gym, spa and shared workspace.
A successful Front Desk Agent is hospitable by nature, pro-active, capable multi-tasker as well as level-headed, professional in demanding and fast paced environments.
Main Duties
- Primary point of initial contact for members, guests and staff and must ensure all visitors are welcomed with open arms and provided with top-notch service from the moment they enter a Soho House & Co property
- Expert in performing all concierge duties as required including, but not limited to; booking cars, tickets to shows, restaurant reservations, spa reservations, etc.

Seasonal Busser - Soho House New York
The role…
At Soho House, a Busser is responsible for curating a we organized, clean and structured member and guest experience. A Busser, supports runners, servers and management by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of flatware and plates, and bringing guest needs to the attention of waitstaff. They also restock necessary items, such as napkins and straws, and may assist with washing dishes.
A successful Busser will be efficient, attentive, and have strong customer service skills.
Main Duties
- Detail all tables before service begins, ensure place settings are neat and organized and candles are on the tables
- Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, dinner or feast service; mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl).
- Stock all stations upon arrival (small plates, sharing plates, water and wines glasses, and all the silverware) and maintain throughout service along with working with your team to keep the bread warmer full and neat
- Maintain section and ensure bread and water is delivery upon guests’ arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable
- Clear tables plates, silver / glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests
- Polish silverware and pot wash are stored according to local standards
- Complete side work before and after service (see side work sheets for details)
- Making sure the cabinet and shelf in the bar area are full before service (glassware - silverware - plate ware).
- Remove all the dirty linen from station and trash is empty and clean
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in similar role
- Flexible schedule and open to working weekends / holidays (when needed)
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail oriented ability to multitask and deliver results in demanding and fast-paced environments
- Basic verbal communication skills.

The role…
At Soho House, a Server is responsible for understanding, discussing and educating members and guests all menu items, allergies associated (if applicable) while also presenting an approachable and elevated experience by following Soho House Service Standards. The Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of service and guest satisfaction. Also, collaborates with other team members and completes pre-service and post-service duties, accurately entering orders into POS and being attentive during service to support additional member or guest request.
A successful Server maintains a positive and influential attitude, is detail oriented, process driven and flexible while working under pressure to ensure seamless communication is maintained through the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) staff.
Main Duties
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all coworkers and management as well as complete checklists on all trained processes learned in Club School
- Positively influence members and guests experience by elevating the dining experience with food and drink pairing options and discussing specials to drive sales through consistent and approachable communication and the highest level of service in accordance with Soho House Standards
- Maintain communication and advise Management and Executive Chef on any allergies or potential red flags encountered throughout the night to mitigate any forecasted risk
- Complete all check out reports at the end of each shift and have it double checked and signed by management
- Adhere to health and safety policies as well as all Company policies, procedures, standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable
- Accommodate special requests from guests or alternative solution that better suites business needs or advise management to further assess and provide options
- Ensure food orders are finished being plated and coursed out correctly before appropriately serving to members/guests
- Assist runners and bussers when possible with expo and service bar tickets to support all table orders
- Clean and stock server alley and bar area, polish silverware, plates and/or glassware as needed
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions who asked by members and/or guests

The role…
At Soho House a Drink Runner is responsible for a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving drinks, explaining drinks. A Drink Runner also assists the servers in providing quality hand plated service to all guests who come to Soho House. As a Drink Runner, your goal will be to provide our members and guests with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience.

Main Duties
- Responsible for following Steps of Service set by Soho House & Co that includes but is not limited to; Refill water glasses and coffee cups, clear finished dishes, crumb the table, replenish all table supplies, expedite food orders
- Accommodate special requests from guests or alternative solution that better suites business needs or advise management to further assess and provide options
- Thrive in high-volume and elevated service environment. Ensure the delivery of a seamless service by thinking quickly on your feet, managing / anticipating guest and member needs and ensure servers, Executive Chef and General Manager are supported.
- Ensure drink orders are finished garnished and out to members in 5 minutes
- Adhere to health and safety policy (allergy procedures) is followed as well as all Company processes, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable
- Work as one team with one goal; to serve members and guests their food and/or drink items in a timely manner and support the team by running items from expo and service bar that are outside of your section to
