Line Cook I - Soho Beach House Miami
The role…
At Soho House, a Line Cook I is responsible for ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, seamless preparing food and sauces, and assisting Senior Chefs with service. As a Line Cook I, you thrive in fast-paced environments and positively influence fellow members of the team to remain calm during a busy service.
A successful Line Cook I is a critical member of the team due to the diverse and specialized skill set and proven ability to execute all menu items properly from prep to plate and deliver top-quality dishes from all stations.
Main Duties
- Well-versed on all menu items and able to produce consistent and quality dishes in fast-paced and demanding environments and on all stations

The role…
At Soho House, a Busser is responsible for curating a we organized, clean and structured member and guest experience. A Busser, supports runners, servers and management by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of flatware and plates, and bringing guest needs to the attention of waitstaff. They also restock necessary items, such as napkins and straws, and may assist with washing dishes.
A successful Busser will be efficient, attentive, and have strong customer service skills.
Main Duties
- Detail all tables before service begins, ensure place settings are neat and organized and candles are on the tables
- Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, dinner or feast service; mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl).
- Stock all stations upon arrival (small plates, sharing plates, water and wines glasses, and all the silverware) and maintain throughout service along with working with your team to keep the bread warmer full and neat
- Maintain section and ensure bread and water is delivery upon guests’ arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable
- Clear tables plates, silver / glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests
- Polish silverware and pot wash are stored according to local standards
- Complete side work before and after service (see side work sheets for details)

Main Duties
- To effectively handle all incoming calls and email enquiries for room reservations for Soho House properties in the Americas, converting enquiries to bookings and in line with mystery shop guidelines.
- Accurate data entry, ensuring that all guest records are correctly inputted at all times, without exception.

Soho Support Coordinator Member Services serves as the first point of contact to members looking to visit our Houses in New York and Los Angeles. Key responsibilities…

- This is a remote, entry-level position.

The role…
At Soho House, the Front Office Assistant Manager supports the Front Office Manager and ensures optimal experience is had by all members, guests and staff that interact with the front office, member services and reception desk. As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for supervising front desk agents, mitigating guest and member risk by introducing solutions and processing payments.
A successful Front Office Assistant Manager will manage staff schedule, inventory and bookkeeping. In conjunction with the Front Office Manager the FOAM ensures seamless, positive and efficient experience for all members and guests. Organized, engaging, professional that can quickly make decisions in a high-volume and demanding environment!
Main Duties
- Partner with Front Office Manager to develop, create and refine efficiency in the member and guest check in process and welcome experience
- Contribute to yearly departmental goals, related to payroll, expenses, staffing levels and guest service
- Responsible for monitoring and supporting daily operations, greet hotel guests and members upon arrival
- Supervise, direct, coordinate, influence and persuade staff in order to maintain service standards set forth by Soho House & Co.
- Participate in identifying talent gaps, interviewing and hiring staff as well as host staff meetings and training opportunities to develop and grow staff skills as well as provide counseling and discipline when applicable
- Ensure all new hires are provided a proper New Hire Training process with all new employees

- Collaborate with controller and Purchasing Manager to ensure all perishable and nonperishable items are ordered available to distribution and inventory is maintained
- Deliver the highest standards of customer service and process, track and report all guests’ disputes and claims
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working and 1+ year of FO Supervisory experience
- Detail oriented, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills, Excel, MS Word, MRM, Salesforce and Opera preferred
- Customer services oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual language skills a plus

Public Area Attendant - Soho Beach House Miami
The Role…

Main Duties
- Responsible for routine walk-throughs and ensuring the overall tidiness, cleanliness and maintenance of the Club, Rooms, Cowshed (Spa) and F&B Spaces (when applicable)
- Maintain a clean and tidy property as well as stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Assist housekeeping team with rooms, focusing on deep cleaning procedures
- Adhere to local and government compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment for members, guests and staff by placing proper signage as needed

Club Server (Part Time) - Soho Beach House Miami
The Role…
At Soho House a Server is responsible for understanding, discussing and educating members and guests all menu items, allergies associated (if applicable) while also presenting an approachable and elevated experience by following Soho House Service Standards. The Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of service and guest satisfaction. Also, collaborates with other team members and completes pre-service and post-service duties, accurately entering orders into POS and being attentive during service to support additional member or guest request.
A successful Server maintains a positive and influential attitude, is detail oriented, process driven and flexible while working under pressure to ensure seamless communication is maintained through the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) staff.
Main Duties
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all coworkers and management as well as complete checklists on all trained processes learned in Club School
- Positively influence members and guests experience by elevating the dining experience with food and drink pairing options and discussing specials to drive sales through consistent and approachable communication and the highest level of service in accordance with Soho House Standards
- Maintain communication and advise Management and Executive Chef on any allergies or potential red flags encountered throughout the night to mitigate any forecasted risk
- Complete all check out reports at the end of each shift and have it double checked and signed by management
- Adhere to health and safety policies as well as all Company policies, procedures, standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable
- Ensure food orders are finished being plated and coursed out correctly before appropriately serving to members/guests
- Assist runners and bussers when possible with expo and service bar tickets to support all table orders
- Clean and stock server alley and bar area, polish silverware, plates and/or glassware as needed
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions who asked by members and/or guests
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity

Club Host (Part Time) - Soho Beach House Miami
The role…
At Soho House a Host is one of the first point of contacts for members guests and staff before being seated for their dining experience. As a Host, you are responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operation(s)/Restaurant(s). The Host, has acute organizational and people skills which often in infectious and promotes positive experience from the moment anyone arrives up until their departure. Responsibilities also entail excellent service to all guests, members and staff via friendliness, professional, and organizational efficiency.
A successful Host, you may be responsible for training other reception team members on process and service standards set at Soho House. As an experienced Host you are required to be able to master our phone system, have a warm and friendly disposition, ensure all anticipated covers are accounted for during service and tables are ready for the reservation’s arrival.
Main Duties
- Ensure every member and guest is welcomed by name (if local/applicable) and new guests are welcomed with open arms and in a hospitable manner
- Answer high-volume phone lines and confidently answer standard Q&A regarding menus, hours of operation and amenity availability/pricing and calls for restaurant, roof and cinema reservations, general inquiries, and deliveries, messages for members and from employees; among other inquiries in full and with complete detail
- Create reservations for club/restaurants and assist F&B Managers on the floor with service standards and service execution

Cecconi's Busser (Part Time) - Soho Beach House Miami
The role…
At Soho House, a Busser is responsible for curating a we organized, clean and structured member and guest experience. A Busser, supports runners, servers and management by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of flatware and plates, and bringing guest needs to the attention of waitstaff. They also restock necessary items, such as napkins and straws, and may assist with washing dishes.
A successful Busser will be efficient, attentive, and have strong customer service skills.
Main Duties
- Detail all tables before service begins, ensure place settings are neat and organized and candles are on the tables
- Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, dinner or feast service; mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl).
- Stock all stations upon arrival (small plates, sharing plates, water and wines glasses, and all the silverware) and maintain throughout service along with working with your team to keep the bread warmer full and neat
- Maintain section and ensure bread and water is delivery upon guests’ arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable
- Clear tables plates, silver / glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests
- Polish silverware and pot wash are stored according to local standards
- Complete side work before and after service (see side work sheets for details)
- Making sure the cabinet and shelf in the bar area are full before service (glassware - silverware - plate ware).
- Remove all the dirty linen from station and trash is empty and clean
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in similar role
- Flexible schedule and open to working weekends / holidays (when needed)
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail oriented ability to multitask and deliver results in demanding and fast-paced environments
- Basic verbal communication skills.

Cecconi's Runner (Part Time) - Soho Beach House Miami
The role…
At Soho House a Runner is responsible for a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders, explaining meals, and facilitating collaboration between kitchen and servers. A Runner also assists the servers in providing quality hand plated service to all guests who come to Soho House. As a Food Runner, your goal will be to provide our members and guests with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience.
A successful Runner thrives in a fast-paced environment, can problem solve in high-pressure situations and remain calm, approachable and professional.
Main Duties
- Responsible for following Steps of Service set by Soho House & Co that includes but is not limited to; Refill water glasses and coffee cups, clear finished dishes, crumb the table, replenish all table supplies, expedite food orders
- Accommodate special requests from guests or alternative solution that better suites business needs or advise management to further assess and provide options
- Thrive in high-volume and elevated service environment. Ensure the delivery of a seamless service by thinking quickly on your feet, managing / anticipating guest and member needs and ensure servers, Executive Chef and General Manager are supported.
- Ensure food orders are finished being plated and coursed out correctly before appropriately serving to members/guests
- Adhere to health and safety policy (allergy procedures) is followed as well as all Company processes, procedures, and standards and local, state, and federal law as applicable
- Work as one team with one goal; to serve members and guests their food and/or drink items in a timely manner and support the team by running items from expo and service bar that are outside of your section to
- Clean and stock server alley and expo area
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions who asked by members and/or guests
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure
- Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School

Club Bartender
The role…
At Soho House, the Bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, serving food and providing excellent service accompanied by memorable experiences to all guests and members who visit a Soho House & Co. property. As a Bartender you are an extension of the brand, management team and global food and drink program. As a result, you will be responsible for professional behavior, charismatic and positive energy to create a fun environment that drives conversation and sales.
A successful Bartender will greet customers, learn and remember their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a Soho House Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable with a thirst for all things craft cocktails!
Main Duties
- Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar
- Maintain a clean and organized section as well as collaborate with other bartenders to; wash glassware and utensils after each use, Clean up after customers and clean work area
- Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings
- Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote additional sales through creating optimal experience for dining
- Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register
- Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products as well as determine when a customer has had too much alcohol
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and can increase overall sales and member / guest experience
- Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment of items to Barbacks
- Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program and consistent experience
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience working in high-volume F&B operation
- Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced perishable items
- Experience making coffee drinks a plus
