We’re looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join us in our Tel Aviv office. 

Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of accounts receivable
• Follow up and engage with customers on outstanding payments and resolve any issues causing payment delays, negotiate payment arrangements and settlements
• Resolve Invoice discrepancies and disputes
• Work with the bookkeeping and accounting team to ensure accurate cash application is done in a timely manner and resolve unrecognized payments 
• Work closely with the sales and account management team to escalate issues and cooperate on outstanding payments 
• Process internal requests for address changes, completing customer vendor forms 

What will I bring to the team?

• Completed a degree in finance/economics/business management preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 2 years of experience as a Collections or Billing specialist
• Excellent English – written and spoken.
• Ability to follow directions, meet strict deadlines, and work independently
• Thrive on high intensity work environment and with a large customer portfolio
• Systems: Salesforce, Zuora (Billing) and AR Management tools - a plus

We are looking for an FP&A Business Partner to join the FP&A team, as part of the Finance group.

As a FP&A Business Partner, you will work with key stakeholders in the organization to build and maintain a budget and forecast for one of our Divisions and to support Divisional and Finance leaders with analytical tools for decision making. This role provides a high level of exposure to the organization's Leadership. An ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating such a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment independently.

In your day-to-day as FP&A Business Partner at Similarweb, you will:

• Build and develop financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for Company’s corporate units.
• Maintain and improve company financial and operational models, and run ad hoc analysis in various areas, including income, resource allocation, and cohort-level insight.
• Deliver insight regarding business metrics, including comparison to prior periods, highlighting key variances / trends and providing high-level commentary for use by management.
• Enable data-driven decisioning by working closely as an "analytical arm" to department heads, building business cases that shape key strategies.
• Proactively identify and analyze opportunities to drive business improvements and share actionable insights with management.

• Multi-data-source financial modeling.

The ideal candidate should have:

• B.A. or B.Sc. in Economics/Statistics/Business. MBA or MA is a plus
• 1-3+ years of FP&A or other relevant experience
• Prior experience with Tableau, Salesforce, and Google Sheets is a plus.
• High proficiency in SQL - significant plus.
• Proven experience working closely with BI teams and building complex, data-driven financial models using multiple data sources - significant plus.
• Proven experience in creating and building automated workflows and processes for Finance / FP&A work - significant plus.
• In-depth understanding of the flow / construction of financial models and prior experience in working with company forecasts / budgets
• Ability to communicate data clearly to various company stakeholders.
• Understanding of SaaS and relevant industry metrics.

We’re looking for a Corporate Controller - Group Lead to manage our HQ parent company and subsidiaries’ accounting and financial aspects. This role will report to the company’s Director of Finance.

The Corporate Controller will play a major role and will hold all responsibilities related to month and quarter closing processes as well as any other financial/accounting operations for HQ.

So, what will you be doing all day?

Your role as part of the Controllership team means your daily responsibilities may include:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process of global subsidiaries and parent company, including preparation of journal entries and flux analysis
• Lead a significant part of the annual 20-F filling and other relevant fillings 
• Lead a team of direct reports
• Participation and support of audit process with auditors including the provision of WPs as required for quarterly reviews and annual audit
• Preparation of annual tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements 
• Prepare and engage in analysis of complex tax issues with outside advisors
• Assist in design and documentation of internal controls (SOX) and policies
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards in order to comply with US-GAAP
• Support the work of AP team to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Supporting billing-related processes and integration with financial systems
• Participate and lead improvements in internal financial and system processes

This is the perfect job for someone who has:

• Experience in 2 High-tech companies, preferably SaaS - a must
• CPA with a Big 4 firm experience – a must
• Experience managing direct reports - a must
• English at the equivalent of native language – a must
• Strong knowledge and experience in US-GAAP

Similarweb is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our US Accounting Team. Reporting directly to the US Controller, this role will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and efficient accounting operations and financials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. 

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including, but not limited to:

• Operational Excellence - Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring all journal entries and accruals are posted with precision in NetSuite.
• Compliance & Controls - Maintain and evolve the internal control environment to ensure strict SOX compliance and adherence to corporate policies. 
• Tax & Regulatory - Work with external and internal teams in preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings, as well as registrations, and complex reporting requirements. 
• Sales & Use Tax Management - Oversee the end-to-end sales tax compliance process, including monitoring economic nexus thresholds, filing sales tax returns, resolving state tax notices, handling complex sales tax inquiries, and overseeing the registration process. 
• Audit Readiness - Lead the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Cross-Functional Partnership - Collaborate with other teams such as AP, Billing, HR, Legal, and FP&A to streamline workflows.
• Financial Integrity - Perform data analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies, research complex accounting issues, provide actionable insights and execute ad hoc projects. 
• Revenue Recognition - Assist in the review of customer contracts and ensure revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
• Process Improvement - Proactively identify inefficiencies in processes and implement automated solutions or workflow improvements. 

This is the perfect job for someone who has:

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting - Public accounting/Private industry mix is a plus.
• B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - CPA a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office products required, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements) a must!
• Problem-solving abilities that look beyond the surface, and are able to dig into the root cause of problems, looking for the “why” and researching the solution. 
• Proven ability to research accounting standards and complex issues and apply them to real-world scenarios. 
• Ability to prioritize workload and successfully meet strict internal and external deadlines.
