Clear Creek is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Lead Virtualization Systems Engineer (Converged) to support large-scale enterprise datacenters encompassing over 3,000 virtual machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a VMware-based infrastructure and associated storage systems in a government environment. This senior-level position requires deep expertise in virtualization technologies and a strong commitment to supporting mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the end-to-end execution of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and private cloud deployments (VMware, Nutanix), providing technical directions to systems engineers
• Design, architect, and implement virtual infrastructure (VI) environments
• Maintain all VMware virtual infrastructure environments
• Manage all physical hardware hosting the virtual infrastructure
• Monitor availability and performance of all VI enterprise systems
• Maintain and provide VM backups
• Provide 24/7 Level 3 support to virtual infrastructure issues on a rotating basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 7-10 years of demonstrated experience working with VMWare and understanding of the P2V (physical to virtual) process

• Deep knowledge of VMware VCF, ESXi, Nutanix, and storage technologies (vSAN/SDS)
• Expert experience with Linux/Windows operation systems
