Job Description:

As a Staff Flight Test Engineer, you will lead hands-on flight test campaigns for next-generation autonomous aircraft systems powered by Hivemind Mission Autonomy. You will operate at the intersection of systems engineering, test operations, and aerospace integration by designing, planning, and executing complex flight test activities on unmanned and optionally piloted platforms. Your work will directly influence the performance, safety, and reliability of cutting-edge AI-enabled flight systems deployed for mission-critical applications.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop test strategies, validate system requirements, and ensure flight readiness through rigorous verification, simulation, and flight testing. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at technical leadership, and is motivated by achieving real-world results that advance the future of autonomous aviation.

Required qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Aerospace, Electrical, Software Engineering or a related field

Active RePL (ideally with multirotor and fixed wing endorsements up to 25kg) and experience conducting UAS operations

Minimum of 5 years experience in test engineering, flight test operations, aerospace engineering or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to plan, conduct and document structured flight test campaigns

Experience in applying Systems Engineering practices

Hands on experience with Software or Hardware in the Loop simulation environments and tools

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support test events

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in defense test programs, especially DT&E / OT&E processes

Experience in product development or R&D programs, especially in autonomous systems

Experience in electrical and mechanical systems integration for UAS

Basic proficiency with software development, test automation or data analysis workflows, especially in Python

What you'll do:

Required qualifications:

8+ years of proven cross-regional sourcing experience, ideally in aerospace, defence, autonomy, or other complex hardware/software industries (in-house or executive search environment)

Proven track record in market mapping, competitive intelligence, and candidate generation for highly specialized technical roles.

Deep expertise in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireZ, and other sourcing platforms.

Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with passive, cleared, or niche engineering talent.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills - you know how to engage technical talent authentically.

Highly organized, data-driven, and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and mature our manufacturing and production capabilities. This role is responsible for establishing robust manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality practices to support low-volume, high-value products from prototype through production.

What you'll do:

Manufacturing & Production Engineering:

Experience supporting low-volume, high-complexity, high-value products.

Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• High‑Performance Software Development – Architect and implement C++, software for modelling, simulation, and integration workflows, while maintaining compatibility with legacy standards for seamless system interoperability.
• Real-Time & Distributed Simulation – Develop, optimize, and deploy software for real‑time mission execution environments, including multi‑agent scenarios and high‑fidelity system-of-systems simulations.

• Simulation Framework Integration – Apply practical experience with defence simulation frameworks such as AFSIM or NGTS to accelerate capability delivery and ensure alignment with defence customer expectations.
• Containerized Deployment – Leverage Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies to ensure repeatable, scalable, and modular simulation deployments across development, CI, and operational environments.
• Technical & Project Leadership – Lead engineering teams of 5+ contributors, ensuring alignment across software, test, autonomy, perception, and program stakeholders. Drive quality, delivery, and technical excellence.

Required qualifications:

Job Description:

As a member of the Australian Engineering Team, a candidate will contribute to the design of integrated solutions inclusive of the Hivemind Vision and Mission Autonomy technology stacks.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with:

This role sits at the heart of that mission.

This is a build & release engineering role for teams shipping autonomy software to edge-deployed systems, frequently in isolated / constrained environments. You’ll own the engineering “last mile” between C++ development and dependable delivery: reproducible builds, trustworthy artefacts, promotion across environments, and deployable releases that work where they matter most.

If you love modern C++ toolchains, dependency hygiene, artefact provenance, and making CI/CD fast and deterministic—this is for you.

What You'll Do:

Own C++ build and release workflows for autonomy and vision products, from source → build → test → package → release.

Support and evolve containerised CI/CD pipelines across multiple isolated environments (speed, determinism, promotion, repeatability).

Build and maintain container images for edge deployment

Manage JFrog/Artifactory repositories for multi-language and generic artefacts; improve versioning, retention, and promotion practices.

Strengthen dependency and build reproducibility for C++, reducing “works on my machine” and pipeline flakiness.

Validate and deploy autonomy and vision-system products, tools, and libraries—focusing on edge delivery and reliability.

Collaborate with engineers and system admins to ensure integration and stability across real deployment environments.

Tackle complex, meaningful problems that directly support mission outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

Strong, hands-on experience delivering modern C++ software in production (not just “supporting” it).

Demonstrated ownership of build systems / toolchains / dependency management (e.g., Conan, CMake, Nix, Ninja, Artifactory —whatever you’ve used to ship real systems).

Significant recent experience running CI/CD for compiled software and maintaining the surrounding engineering systems (pipelines, runners/agents, artefact stores, promotion gates).

Significant recent experience in Docker / Podman and containerised workflows

Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.

Experience debugging and troubleshooting.

Background in air-gapped or isolated DevOps environments (or similarly constrained delivery contexts).

Experience supporting Python deployment/distribution (for tooling around the C++ core).
