Shark Beauty is seeking a Creative Director – Art to define and elevate the visual expression of one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in the world. In this senior leadership role, you will own the art direction and creative execution that brings Shark Beauty to life across campaigns, launches, and cultural moments.

You will lead a high-performing team of Associate Creative Directors, designers, and art directors, shaping a distinctive, premium visual language that spans brand storytelling, product launches, content, and commerce. From concept through craft, you’ll ensure Shark Beauty’s creative work is modern, culturally relevant, and unmistakably bold—balancing high-impact storytelling with performance-driven execution.

This role is for a hands-on creative leader with exceptional taste, a strong point of view, and the ability to operate at both the brand and executional level. You’ll partner closely with product, marketing, social, IMC, and innovation teams, influencing how products are designed, launched, and experienced—while confidently presenting and selling work to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the art direction and visual creative vision for Shark Beauty across brand campaigns, product launches, and channels
• Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of Associate Creative Directors, designers, and art directors
• Drive concept development and execution across brand, social, digital, experiential, OTT, retail, Amazon, and DTC
• Define and evolve Shark Beauty’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints
• Partner closely with product development, innovation, brand strategy, marketing, IMC, social, and consumer insights teams
• Influence product storytelling, packaging, and launch expressions from early concept through market release
• Present creative work to senior and executive leadership, clearly articulating creative rationale and business impact
• Oversee creative direction for global launches and ensure regional alignment while maintaining brand integrity

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in creative leadership, art direction, or design at a top agency or consumer brand

Overview

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director, Design to help define what Ninja looks like next.

This is a role for a design leader who does not just execute campaigns. You build product identities, shape visual systems from day one, and create ideas that drive demand across the entire funnel.

You will partner closely with product, insights, and marketing from the earliest stages, influencing how products are positioned, named, and brought to life visually.

You think in systems, not assets. Platforms, not one-offs. Work that scales across every touchpoint and performs.

You are fluent in modern creative tools including AI and Figma, using them to accelerate exploration and iteration while maintaining a high bar for taste and originality.

This is a hands-on, player coach role. You lead teams while actively designing and pushing the work forward.

We are seeking a Designer with deep AI fluency—a creative who blends conceptual thinking, exceptional design craft, and advanced use of AI tools to accelerate, elevate, and expand what’s possible.

Key Responsibilities

Concepting + Visual Exploration

• Partner with Art and Copy teams to develop concepts grounded in insight, product truth, and bold creative thinking.

• Use AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Sora, etc.) to explore visual territories, generate references, and expand creative possibilities.

• Contribute sketches, moodboards, storyboards, pitch decks, and prototypes that push creative further.

Design Execution + Craft Excellence

• Produce world-class visual design across campaigns, digital content, social, packaging, retail, and product storytelling.

• Apply advanced skills in layout, typography, composition, and color with precision and taste.

• Transform AI-generated outputs into fully refined, production-ready creative.

• Balance adherence to brand systems with pushing them forward in innovative, modern ways.

AI-Driven Creative Development

• Build and refine visual assets using AI image generation, video/motion tools, and iterative prompting.

• Collaborate with motion partners to bring static designs to life using AI-assisted animation and visual development tools.

• Develop repeatable AI workflows and help the broader team adopt emerging tools, techniques, and best practices.

Creative Collaboration + Spark Plug Mindset

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–6 years of design experience in an agency, in-house creative studio, or consumer brand environment.

• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional design craft and conceptual thinking, including work created or shaped with advanced AI tools.

• AI expertise is a must: fluency with image generation, prompt crafting, AI-assisted motion tools, rapid prototyping, and emerging creative technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma, 3D tools, and generative pipelines.

• Insight into digital, social, and modern content formats—and how AI can accelerate them.
