The role
We are looking for a high-ownership Fraud Analyst to step into a pivotal role within Prolific’s world class Integrity Team. This isn't just a support role; you are the "Human-in-the-Loop" who bridges the gap between our complex fraud models and the real-world experience of our researchers and participants.
You’ll be the source of truth for our "golden sets," the expert voice in our Slack channels, and the person who turns manual investigations into product improvements. We need someone who is data-curious, possesses an investigator’s mindset, and is ready to take accountability for the quality of our participant pool.

This role is a hands on Fraud analyst role for a stand out candidate with strong critical thinking, AI- and data-literacy, and a huge amount of drive.
- Extreme Ownership: You’re the type of person who sees a "huge hole" and immediately starts filling it. You don't wait for a ticket to tell you something is wrong; you dive in and find the root cause.
- The "Investigator" Mindset: You enjoy the "whodunnit" aspect of fraud. You can spot patterns, cross-reference multiple data points, and remain objective when a participant claims the system made a mistake.
- Aspiring Data Literacy: You don’t need to be a Data Scientist, but you should have a hunger to become data-literate. You’re comfortable (or willing to learn) diving into databases and collaborating with technical teams to get the answers you need.
- Practical Communication: You can take a complex technical ban and explain the "why" to a researcher or support agent in a way that is clear, firm, and helpful.
- Adaptability: The fraud landscape changes every week (especially with LLMs and bots). You’re excited by the idea of a role that evolves and offers room to grow into more technical or strategic areas as you settle in.
- Systems Thinking: You understand that a marketplace is an ecosystem. You have the ability to foresee how tightening a rule on the participant side might accidentally impact the researcher experience, or how an engineering change might shift fraud to a different part of the product.

What you’ll be doing in the role
- Crossfunctional Problem Solving: You’ll work with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Support, and Human Data teams every day.
- Deep-Dive Investigations: You’ll review data quality reports from researchers, cross-referencing participant IDs against our internal data to validate fraud claims. You’ll recommend a response to the researcher and ensure that bad actors are restricted based on your findings.
- Second-Line Expert Support: You’ll act as the escalation point for our Support team. You’ll handle the tricky edge cases, ban appeals, and "system-says-no" moments where human judgment is needed to override or validate the algorithm.
- Sonar Audits & Prevalence Tracking: You will lead our "Sonar" reviews - a regular audit of our participant network. Your work here directly generates our "bad actor prevalence" and "fraudulent submission" metrics, which are the primary KPIs for how we track our success against fraud. The other side of the coin - you’ll audit our ban decisions to measure fairness and participant experience through overturn rates.
- Model Training & Feedback Loops: You’ll partner closely with Data Science to review "high risk" participants flagged by our fraud models. Your manual reviews will provide the vital "golden set" of data that allows us to tweak and improve our ML models.
- Operational Innovation: We don’t want you just to follow the process - we want you to break and fix it. You’ll be constantly looking for ways to automate your own tasks, suggest product features to the engineers, and make life easier for our Support team.
- Policy Design & Refinement: As you encounter edge cases and new fraud vectors, you won't just solve the immediate ticket. You will write, refine, and document the internal policies and standard operating procedures that govern how our platform defines "acceptable use."
- Balancing Friction vs. Growth: You will be a key voice in the room when Product launches new features. You'll advise on potential fraud loopholes and help strike the delicate balance between keeping bad actors out and keeping the onboarding experience seamless for good participants.

The role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager for our Research vertical to own feature releases, define packaging and positioning, and drive revenue expansion by equipping our teams with the tools they need to unlock new opportunities.
You will be a key partner to the VP of Research, working in lockstep with dedicated product and commercial teams to drive initiatives that enable Prolific to expand and win new research audiences across academia, industry, and partnerships.
It’s an exciting time to join Prolific in this vertical. With a strong product launch pipeline and new market expansion, this is a role with meaningful scope. You won’t just be holding the fort, but actively driving growth.
This is a fixed-term contract maternity cover role. To ensure strong handover with the existing Senior PMM, we’d like this role to start before the maternity leave begins in early July, cover a 12 month period of maternity leave, and ensure proper handover when they return.
What you’ll be doing in the role
- Lead new product and feature launches for the Research vertical, collaborating with product, marketing, sales and customer success to drive consistent positioning and messaging, internal readiness, external rollout, and adoption with target audiences.
- Drive market research, segmentation, ICP creation, positioning and messaging to target new audience expansion opportunities, and lead validation of fit with new audience segments.
- Develop and continuously improve sales enablement processes and materials to help commercial teams with new business and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct and synthesise market, competitive, and customer research to inform product strategy, roadmaps and go-to-market decisions.
- Collaborate with product marketing across business verticals to ensure strong alignment and storytelling across customer segments.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, with demonstrated experience in being the responsible product marketer for a business unit or product line.
- Experience in product marketing for marketplace or platform businesses, with a proven ability to translate complex products into positioning that lands with different buyer types across product-led and sales-led motions.
- Excellent writing, synthesis and presentation skills, taking complex inputs and producing clear, compelling narratives.
- Excellent collaborative skills with experience partnering across product, sales and customer success.

We’re looking for an immediately available, experienced Paid Media / Performance Marketing Freelancer in the UK ONLY to help us scale and optimize our paid media initiatives across Prolific for Research. This role will own hands-on execution across multiple paid channels while providing clear performance insights and recommendations.
This is an execution-heavy role with strategic input—ideal for someone who enjoys building, testing, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns end-to-end.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns for B2B products (SaaS, marketplaces, or platforms preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with: LinkedIn, Influ2, Hubspot, Meta and other relevant channels
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Experience with content syndication and lead-gen focused paid campaigns

We’re hiring a Data Science Manager, Supply Marketplace to lead this space. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of Prolific’s marketplace. You will build and lead the team responsible for the science, models, and decision systems that shape participant marketplace health, from growth and activation to allocation, engagement, quality, and long-term retention.
What you'll be doing
- You will define the strategy for Supply Data Science and lead the analytical and algorithmic foundations that help us understand and optimize participant supply at scale.
- You will work across participant acquisition, onboarding, liquidity, matching, quality, engagement, and retention, ensuring we can meet rapidly growing demand without degrading participant experience or data integrity.
- You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and company leadership to translate complex marketplace problems into a clear roadmap of models, experiments, and decision systems. This includes leading algorithmic work such as matching, ranking, optimization, allocation, and other production-grade systems that improve marketplace efficiency while preserving trust, representation, and participant experience.
What you'll bring
- This role is well suited to a strong technical lead who is ready to grow into full-time management. Today, this is a small team with room to grow. We are open to someone stepping into their first formal management role, provided they bring strong technical depth, sound judgment, and a track record of leading high-impact work in a product, platform, or marketplace environment.
- You should have experience in experimentation, causal inference, statistical modeling, forecasting, and marketplace or product analytics, ideally in a two-sided marketplace or similar business where supply-demand dynamics, liquidity, and user behavior are central.
- Experience leading algorithmic work such as matching, ranking, optimization, allocation, or decision systems would be especially valuable.

We handle participant data, researcher credentials, payment flows, and API integrations that demand rigorous protection at the code level.
As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you'll be the technical authority on application security at Prolific. You'll work hands-on with our engineering teams to find and fix vulnerabilities in our codebase, perform security testing, build security tooling, and embed secure development practices into how we ship software. This isn't a governance or policy role, you'll be in the code, reviewing pull requests, threat modelling new features, and building the automation that keeps our platform secure as we scale.
You'll report to the Head of Engineering/Platform and work cross-functionally with product engineering, platform, data, and TechOps teams.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Several years in application/product security or security engineering
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (Web & API) and modern attack paths (e.g. auth flaws, SSRF, injection, business logic abuse, supply chain)
- Experience working with complex, large-scale systems and modern architectures
- Hands-on security testing experience (especially Burp Suite) across web apps and APIs
- Python for security tooling, automation, or custom detection (Django a plus)
- Experience implementing and tuning SAST, SCA, DAST, and secret scanning in CI/CD
- Practical threat modelling experience, including leading lightweight sessions
- Strong collaboration skills, able to clearly explain issues and drive remediation

The role
Security at Prolific isn't an afterthought, it's foundational to how we build. As a company trusted by world-leading research institutions and AI labs to handle sensitive data at scale, the security of our platform and the code that powers it is critical. We handle participant data, researcher credentials, payment flows, and API integrations, and we need someone to own how we protect all of it at the application layer.
As Application Security Lead, you'll own Prolific's application security strategy and be the most senior security engineering voice in the organisation. You'll define and drive our Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), set the standard for how security is embedded into engineering, and get hands-on with code review, threat modelling, and security testing when it matters. You'll also manage our Senior Application Security Engineer and continue to own our compliance programme alongside these responsibilities.
This is a player-coach role. You won't just set strategy, you'll be in the code, leading by example, and building the security culture that scales with Prolific. You'll need deep engineering experience to earn the trust of our engineering teams, and deep application security experience to know where the real risks are.
You'll report to the Head of Engineering/Platform and work cross-functionally with product engineering, platform, data, TechOps, and legal teams. As we scale, there's a clear path for this role to grow into leading a broader security function.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Several years of experience in software engineering, you’ve built and shipped production systems at scale
- Several years in application security (testing, code review, threat modelling, vuln management)
- Expert knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (Web & API) and modern attack paths (e.g. auth flaws, SSRF, injection, business logic, supply chain)
- Strong understanding of modern architectures (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems)
- Python for security tooling and automation (Django a strong plus)

We're looking for a Head of Product Marketing to run product marketing as a discipline at Prolific. You'll own how we position, message, and launch our products and participant capabilities to AI and Research customers - packaging platform, participant supply, and services into coherent solutions that land across very different buying contexts.
This is a player-coach role. You'll manage a team of three PMMs – each embedded in different parts of the business – while staying operational on the highest-stakes positioning and launches. You'll be the connective tissue between Product, Sales, and the vertical marketing teams, ensuring we speak with one voice about what Prolific does and why it matters.
You'll need to operate across very different buying contexts: technical AI teams evaluating data integration pipelines, academics navigating data quality and funding questions, and enterprise buyers building business cases. What you’ll be doing in the role
- Lead and develop a team of 3 PMMs, setting direction, removing blockers, and building their craft across positioning, launches, and sales enablement

The role
As a Analytics Engineer in the Data Infrastructure Team at Prolific, you'll be at the forefront of transforming and maintaining Prolific's data infrastructure. - Documenting and Standardizing: Creating and maintaining thorough documentation of dbt processes to ensure best practices within the BI team.

The role
As a Participant Recruitment Partner, you will play a pivotal role in continuing the growth of Prolific's specialised participant pools. You’ll act as a key enabler for the evergreen expansion of our expert network, as well as working closely with delivery teams to support targeted participant-resourcing based on our customers needs.This role demands a hands-on approach to high volume participant identification, attraction, and engagement, as well as cross-functional collaboration to meet the demands of both internal stakeholders and external clients

The role
We're looking for a Head of Product Marketing to run product marketing as a discipline at Prolific. You'll own how we position, message, and launch our products and participant capabilities to AI and Research customers - packaging platform, participant supply, and services into coherent solutions that land across very different buying contexts.
This is a player-coach role. You'll manage a team of three PMMs – each embedded in different parts of the business – while staying operational on the highest-stakes positioning and launches. You'll be the connective tissue between Product, Sales, and the vertical marketing teams, ensuring we speak with one voice about what Prolific does and why it matters.
You'll need to operate across very different buying contexts: technical AI teams evaluating data integration pipelines, academics navigating data quality and funding questions, and enterprise buyers building business cases. If you're energised by growing a PMM function in a world of complexity, this will be a good fit.
What you’ll be doing in the role
- Lead and develop a team of 3 PMMs, setting direction, removing blockers, and building their craft across positioning, launches, and sales enablement
- Own Prolific's product positioning and messaging architecture – the foundational narratives that vertical teams and sales build on
- Build and run the product launch framework: the process, the templates, the cross-functional coordination that makes launches predictable and effective
- Own solutions packaging and go-to-market strategy for combination of platform, participants and services
- Partner with Product leadership to shape roadmap priorities based on market signal and competitive positioning
- Work directly with Sales leadership to understand what's landing in deals, what's not, and translate that into better narratives and sales enablement materials
- Conduct and synthesise market, competitive, and customer research to inform product strategy and go-to-market decisions
- Set the standard for PMM craft at Prolific – how we write, how we launch, how we measure impact
What you’ll bring to the role
- 7+ years in product or solutions marketing, with at least 2 years leading or managing PMMs
- Experience building PMM as a function – not just executing within an established playbook
- Proven ability to translate complex, technical products into positioning that lands with different buyer types
- Strong stakeholder management across Product, Sales, and executive teams – you know how to influence without authority and build trust with technical and commercial leaders
- Track record of shipping launches that moved business metrics, not just "got out the door"
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills – you can take messy inputs and produce clear, compelling outputs
- Experience in product marketing or solutions marketing for complex B2B products, marketplaces, or platform businesses - ideally with multi-stakeholder buyer journeys
