Technical Skills / Competencies  

• Strong AI/ML background: Expertise in designing, building and deploying real-world ML applications (Computer Vision, Classification, etc.) 
• Strong foundation in GenAI: Deep understanding of generative models (LLMs, etc.), AI Agents, prompt engineering RAG, vector databases. 
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ML/GenAI frameworks, databases, shell scripts and programming languages, including frameworks and tools commonly used for building and orchestrating AI agents.

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to drive technical excellence and scalability across our SaaS Employee Communications platform.

In this role, you will act as a hands-on technical leader, designing and delivering complex features, improving system performance and reliability, and mentoring engineers across the team. This position bridges Senior Engineers and Software Architects, translating architectural vision into robust, maintainable implementations while influencing architectural evolution through strong technical judgment and execution.

The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS expertise, hands-on experience with AWS managed & serverless technologies and a solid understanding of distributed system design.

Job Summary

Poppulo is transforming how organizations communicate and engage with their employees through personalized (targeted), data-driven experiences across Employee Communications and Digital Signage. 

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team building the next generation of Analytics and Insights capabilities across Poppulo’s platform. This includes evolving our reporting systems to augment AI insights into it that helps customers understand engagement, optimize messaging, and drive measurable outcomes. 

This role will lead a team of 8-10 engineers focused on:

• Analytics reporting across Employee Experience (EX) and Digital Signage (DS)
• A unified, scalable data and insights (analytics) platform
• Introducing AI-powered insights, recommendations, and automation
• Enable cross-channel analytics across email, mobile, intranet, and digital signage  

The Engineering Manager will lead a cross-functional software engineering team within the Application Engineering organization, driving the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality Analytics Reporting software for our Employee Experience and Digital Signage Products (LOBs). 

Reporting to the Director, this role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management. You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, UX and DevOps to ensure our applications evolve in line with business needs, engineering best practices, and modern SaaS and Agentic - Data and Analytics architecture principles.  

You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of your teams, managing execution excellence, and nurturing a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Poppulo’s Analytics vision of moving to insights and intelligent recommendations along with cross-channel analytics. 
• Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment and delivery (demo ready for GTM team) of high-quality, cloud-native platform on AWS in an Agile environment.  
• Ensure technical solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with architectural guidelines; being ready to meet 1-3 yrs of business need. 
• Ensure strong foundation of Data quality & governance; observability and reliability; scalability 
• Partner with Product and AI teams to embed AI into analytics experiences 
• Upskill the team toward AI/ML awareness and modern data technologies which are secure 
• Lead and mentor a team of software/data engineers, fostering an environment that values clean code, test automation, continuous integration, and iterative delivery. 
• Partner with Product Management to translate product strategy into technical deliverables, balancing feature delivery with platform sustainability and technical debt reduction.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Architect to lead the design and evolution of our quality engineering and test automation strategy across our SaaS Employee Experience platform. You will act as a technical leader in test architecture, driving automation-first practices, improving system quality at scale, and enabling teams to deliver reliable, high-performing software.

This role operates across multiple engineering teams, defining and standardising testing strategies, frameworks, and tooling. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on automation, CI/CD integration, and scalable test solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium), strong programming skills (Java, TypeScript, or similar), and hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (AWS), and modern engineering practices.

• Deep experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework or similar.
• Strong understanding of performance testing with tools such as locust, k6, Jmeter.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks across multiple teams or products.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience testing distributed systems, including microservices and monolithic architectures.

Key Responsibilities
