What you'll do

• Lead employee relations cases involving workplace conduct, workplace policy and compliance interpretation, and labor relations
• Schedule interviews, gather information, and maintain case documentation
• Draft investigation notes, case summaries, and employee correspondence in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements
• Identify potential systemic issues, compliance risks, or trends and recommend proactive solutions to strengthen workplace culture and mitigate risk
• Respond to routine employee inquiries related to HR policies and workplace issues, escalating matters as appropriate
• Co‑lead logistics and communications for employee relations and workplace conduct training initiatives
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential employee relations records
• Prepare employee relations reporting, tracking, and basic trend analysis for HR and Legal leadership
• Coordinate closely with Legal, Compliance, and HR colleagues to support effective case resolution

What's required

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR operations, or a related HR function
• Experience leading and supporting employee relations investigations
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR policies, such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ADA, OSHA, and wage and hour laws
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end HR operations for the Japan office as primary point of coverage, while supporting APAC offices.  
• Support administration and compliance for social insurance and statutory filings, partnering with external vendors to deliver accurate, timely results.

• Coordinate employee lifecycle activities and movements, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers; manage employment documentation, benefits enrollment, and coordination with other functional teams such as Payroll and Benefits.

• Partner with Payroll, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and external providers to resolve complex HR operational matters and ensure cross-functional alignment
• Respond to employee inquiries and manage escalations with clear, timely communication and a solutions-oriented approach
• Help identify, design, and lead process-improvement projects to increase accuracy, speed, and compliance across HR operations
• Ad-hoc assignment upon request

What's required

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in HR operations or the similar, preferably in an international environment
• Working knowledge of the Japan social insurance system
• Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English (Chinese is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate recordkeeping
• Experience adopting or adapting to AI-enabled tools or processing automation platforms to improve HR workflows
• Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to collaborate across functions

What You’ll Do

• Act as the primary HR operations contact, responding to employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and standard procedures.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal moves, role changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding.
• Prepare, process, and maintain employee contracts, amendments, and HR documentation in coordination with HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate employee and benefits data across HR systems, ensuring consistency between HRIS, Payroll, and benefits providers.
• Perform regular data checks, reconciliations, and audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
• Partner with global HR Business Partners to support day‑to‑day HR execution, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc HR reports such as headcount, attrition, hiring, mobility, and workforce demographics.
• Maintain and improve standardized HR dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for HR leadership and stakeholders while ensuring data integrity.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, and workforce data requests.
• Identify trends, gaps, and inefficiencies in HR data and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.

• Relevant experience in an HR Analyst or HR operations role
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and HR data management systems

• Prepare, update, and maintain accruals related to separation tracking and year-end bonus pools, ensuring accuracy and strong documentation standards; partner closely with Finance to support reconciliations and reporting needs

What you’ll do

As a Learning & Development Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and engagement of our global workforce. Working with the Learning & Development (L&D) team, you will help implement impactful programs and resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization. Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate with the global L&D team to support learning programs and resources
• Coordinate events by scheduling speakers and facilitators, preparing materials, managing registration, overseeing day-of logistics, and collecting feedback
• Administer our Learning Management System (LMS), including configuring workshops, uploading self-paced content, tracking attendance and completion, and managing learner communications
• Collaborate on monthly newsletters and program related communications
• Support the contracting process with external training vendors
• Generate and update reports on L&D metrics
• Manage online learning tools, including provisioning access and tracking usage
• Build strong relationships with global HR stakeholders
• Assist with additional L&D projects and initiatives as needed
