Summary: 

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced cutting-edge clinical lab environment. The Accessioner will work in a team environment which includes project managers and clinical lab ops specialists. As an Accessioner, daily tasks will involve patient specimen intake, accessioning, and fulfilling client requests for returns or destructions. This will entail following SOPs and working with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other software. This role will also perform shipping / receiving, recording, and inventorying of samples sent for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities: 

• Confirming daily incoming specimens such as blood, plasma, and tissue meet acceptability standards for testing

• Logging test reports and other sample data into LIMS.

Education & Experience:

• Direct NGS and/ or molecular diagnostics experience highly preferred, ideally in MRD or therapy selection/ CGP

The hiring range for this position is $220,000 to $250,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. • Perform nucleic acid extraction from various sample types in a Biosafety Level 2 laboratory (e.g., FFPE, blood, plasma, and more)
• Quantify extracted materials by following QC protocols

• Record sample processing workflows in real-time through a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Maintain robotic liquid handlers and other instruments for optimal performance

Summary:

As a member of the Medical Affairs team, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Oncology serves as a field-based scientific expert who engages clinicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to support Personalis’ oncology genomics portfolio. This role has a primary focus on NeXT Personal®, an ultra-sensitive, tumor-informed circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay designed for minimal residual disease (MRD) detection, while also providing broader scientific support across our product line. The MSL acts as a bridge between Personalis and the healthcare community, facilitating the exchange of medical information, building key relationships with opinion leaders, and driving awareness of our cutting-edge assays. In addition, the MSL provides field-based commercial support to the clinical sales team through education and training initiatives, ensuring that both internal teams and external stakeholders are well-informed about the clinical value and appropriate use of our products.

Core Responsibilities:

• Clinical and Scientific Communication: Deliver clinical and scientific presentations on data supporting Personalis’ oncology products – with special emphasis on the NeXT Personal MRD assay – to healthcare providers, academic groups, and other stakeholders. Tailor complex genomic and clinical information to suit diverse audiences, ensuring clear understanding of our test’s utility.
  
  
• KOL Engagement: Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leading physicians in the oncology community. Engage academic and community KOLs through regular scientific exchange to promote understanding and adoption of our novel ctDNA and genomic technologies. Identify opportunities to involve KOLs in advisory boards, speaker programs, or research collaborations that enhance the visibility of Personalis’ assays.
  
  
• Clinical Advocacy & Education: Represent Personalis at scientific and clinical conferences, symposia, and other educational events. This includes supporting PIs with clinical study data or posters, participating in panel discussions, and hosting educational workshops or grand rounds to highlight the clinical evidence and best practices for using our ctDNA assay and broader test portfolio. Ensure consistent and medically accurate messaging in all external engagements.
  
  
• Field Travel: Travel frequently (approximately 50% of the time) to execute the above field responsibilities. This includes local and overnight travel for HCP meetings, conference attendance, internal training sessions, and other field engagements. (A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel by air are required.) Flexibility to occasionally travel on short notice or attend weekend events is expected as part of this field-based role.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Research Support: Support and coordinate clinical research and evidence-generation initiatives involving Personalis’ tests. Identify and liaise with potential clinical trial sites and investigators for company-sponsored studies or investigator-initiated trials, particularly those evaluating MRD with NeXT Personal. Facilitate collaboration with researchers by providing scientific expertise, assisting in study site onboarding, and monitoring study progress in accordance with appropriate guidelines.
  
  
• Medical Content Development: Contribute medical and scientific expertise to the development and review of content such as slide decks, white papers, training modules, and publications to ensure accuracy and alignment with current data. Critically appraise new research findings and incorporate them into educational materials and talking points, working closely with Marketing and Medical Affairs on messaging that meets both scientific and compliance standards.
  
  
• Insight Generation: Continuously gather insights from the field and stay abreast of emerging research in oncology and molecular diagnostics. Monitor new studies, competitive developments, and clinical guidelines related to MRD, ctDNA, and precision oncology. Share relevant scientific updates and field feedback with internal teams (Medical Affairs, R&D, Marketing) to inform strategy, product development, and data needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent) strongly preferred; at minimum, a Master’s degree in life sciences, genetics, molecular biology or related field is required. Candidates with a Genetic Counseling certification (CGC/MS) or other advanced clinical training and significant oncology genomics experience will also be considered.
  
  
• Scientific Background: In-depth knowledge of oncology and molecular biology is essential, including familiarity with cancer genomics, biomarkers, and the principles of liquid biopsy testing. Experience or training in ctDNA assays, next-generation sequencing, or minimal residual disease monitoring is highly desirable.
  
  
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in oncology or precision medicine, whether in clinical practice, research, or industry, is preferred. Prior experience in a field medical affairs role (MSL or similar) is a plus but not strictly required. Exceptional candidates with strong oncology expertise and communication skills may qualify without direct MSL experience, especially if they have worked on clinical studies or educational programs in relevant areas.

Summary:

The Sr. Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing the Company’s payroll using the ADP platform on a regular basis in accordance with the Company’s policy and ensuring accurate reflection of payroll data in the financial statements. This position will work closely with Accounting and Human Resources team members to perform the scope of work, and provide exceptional service to the entire employee base. The position will also flex to support other areas in accounting, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full cycle processing of all payroll functions including, time & attendance, time-off, security master, reporting, and workflow administration for all U.S. employees.
• Prepare accounting transactions, including journal entries for semi-monthly payroll/payroll accruals and reconcile payroll related accounts monthly.
• Prepare payroll account reconciliations and flux commentaries for financial statement close review.
• Enforce payroll policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls and efficient processes in compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
• Manage new state registrations for withholding tax, SUI (state unemployment insurance) and any applicable local taxes.
• Review and audit employee 401(k) contributions as well as make contribution deposits to 3rd party 401(k) administrator in a timely manner.
• Work closely with HR team to ensure employee new hires, terminations, LOA’s, and other changes that affect payroll are processed accurately and timely.
• Review voluntary deductions including medical benefits, FSA, ESPP, 401(k) contributions and loans as well as involuntary deductions, such as garnishments.
• Enter equity related income for NQ exercises and RSU releases. Reconcile YTD taxes to payroll accounting system.
• Responds to employee questions and addresses any payroll issues/updates/edits required.
• Ensure timely and accurate W-2 preparation at the end of each calendar year.
• Creating and run payroll related reports as required for interdepartmental and cross functional charges and reference.

Qualifications - Required:

Summary:

A CLS Supervisor performs and reports on clinical laboratory testing that aids physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. A key part of the role is supervising team members and ensuring that all laboratory procedures are followed for specimen handling, next-generation sequencing (NGS) processes, test analyses, and the accurate maintenance of patient records.

In our lab, we foster a positive, friendly, and team-based environment. We all pitch in to achieve our common goals and support each other. Responsibilities: 

• Perform and report clinical laboratory testing on patient samples to aid physicians diagnose and treat patients. This includes the following areas:

• Handle and process all patient specimens according to laboratory procedures, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting of results.
• Select, implement, and evaluate quality control materials for statistical process control of laboratory assays.
• Troubleshoot assays and equipment when quality control materials fail to perform as expected.
• Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from established performance specifications.
• Assist in audits by regulatory bodies like CAP and external customers.
• Participate in activities that support the laboratory's necessary licensure, including quality management and on-site inspections.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in sciences or related discipline.
• Licensure: Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license.
• Experience: At least four years of CLS experience in a clinical laboratory environment. Minimum 1 year experience in a Lead role is required.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with manual DNA/RNA extractions, manual library preparation, and automated liquid handlers.

The hiring range for this position is $72.10 to $81.70 per hour plus applicable shift differential. Summary:

As a member of the Medical Affairs team, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Oncology serves as a field-based scientific expert who engages clinicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to support Personalis’ oncology genomics portfolio. This role has a primary focus on NeXT Personal®, an ultra-sensitive, tumor-informed circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay designed for minimal residual disease (MRD) detection, while also providing broader scientific support across our product line. The MSL acts as a bridge between Personalis and the healthcare community, facilitating the exchange of medical information, building key relationships with opinion leaders, and driving awareness of our cutting-edge assays. In addition, the MSL provides field-based commercial support to the clinical sales team through education and training initiatives, ensuring that both internal teams and external stakeholders are well-informed about the clinical value and appropriate use of our products.

Core Responsibilities:

• Clinical and Scientific Communication: Deliver clinical and scientific presentations on data supporting Personalis’ oncology products – with special emphasis on the NeXT Personal MRD assay – to healthcare providers, academic groups, and other stakeholders. Tailor complex genomic and clinical information to suit diverse audiences, ensuring clear understanding of our test’s utility.
  
  
• KOL Engagement: Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leading physicians in the oncology community. Engage academic and community KOLs through regular scientific exchange to promote understanding and adoption of our novel ctDNA and genomic technologies. Identify opportunities to involve KOLs in advisory boards, speaker programs, or research collaborations that enhance the visibility of Personalis’ assays.
  
  
• Clinical Advocacy & Education: Represent Personalis at scientific and clinical conferences, symposia, and other educational events. This includes supporting PIs with clinical study data or posters, participating in panel discussions, and hosting educational workshops or grand rounds to highlight the clinical evidence and best practices for using our ctDNA assay and broader test portfolio. Ensure consistent and medically accurate messaging in all external engagements.
  
  
• Field Travel: Travel frequently (approximately 50% of the time) to execute the above field responsibilities. This includes local and overnight travel for HCP meetings, conference attendance, internal training sessions, and other field engagements. (A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel by air are required.) Flexibility to occasionally travel on short notice or attend weekend events is expected as part of this field-based role.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Research Support: Support and coordinate clinical research and evidence-generation initiatives involving Personalis’ tests. Identify and liaise with potential clinical trial sites and investigators for company-sponsored studies or investigator-initiated trials, particularly those evaluating MRD with NeXT Personal. Share relevant scientific updates and field feedback with internal teams (Medical Affairs, R&D, Marketing) to inform strategy, product development, and data needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent) strongly preferred; at minimum, a Master’s degree in life sciences, genetics, molecular biology or related field is required. Candidates with a Genetic Counseling certification (CGC/MS) or other advanced clinical training and significant oncology genomics experience will also be considered.
  
  
• Scientific Background: In-depth knowledge of oncology and molecular biology is essential, including familiarity with cancer genomics, biomarkers, and the principles of liquid biopsy testing. Experience or training in ctDNA assays, next-generation sequencing, or minimal residual disease monitoring is highly desirable.
  
  
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in oncology or precision medicine, whether in clinical practice, research, or industry, is preferred. Prior experience in a field medical affairs role (MSL or similar) is a plus but not strictly required. Exceptional candidates with strong oncology expertise and communication skills may qualify without direct MSL experience, especially if they have worked on clinical studies or educational programs in relevant areas.
  
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex scientific data in a clear, concise manner. Effective at delivering presentations and educating both small and large audiences, ranging from community clinicians to academic KOLs. Summary:

The QA Specialist is an integral member of the Quality team. The primary responsibilities are to assist in the implementation and management of the Quality Management System. This individual helps drive the Quality Management System implementation in accordance with CLIA, CAP, ISO 15189, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820 and other regulations and guidance as applicable.  The Sr. QA Specialist has knowledge and experience working in ISO 15189 and/or ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820 regulated environments and sufficient knowledge and experience working in Quality to operate with minimal supervision. This role will be required to work an offset schedule (e.g. Tueday through - Saturday) to ensure support for the Reagent Manufacturing and Clinical Laboratory Operations over the weekend.This position reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Timely performance of Quality review and audits of Clinical Study data in compliance with GCP / GCLP to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and traceability
• Performance of incoming inspection and release of raw and in house materials to assure operations continuity over weekends
• Review of laboratory production records including batch history record, equipment records, and environmental monitoring records, etc
• Preparation of data audit reports for provision to study sponsor
• Verification that laboratory activities and clinical processes adhere to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Evaluation of  internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify gaps in the workflow that could compromise data integrity.
• Partner with the study project manager to ensure execution of study specific requirementsInitiate and investigate nonconformances / deviations from procedure or specification
• Maintain policies and SOPs to implement effective processes for Quality Audits and oversight of clinical studies
• Help drive continuous improvement initiatives in support of all Quality Systems 
• Actively engage with process owners to resolve documentation errors and nonconformances
• Assist in the investigation and root cause analysis teams for CAPAs, deviations and non-conformances.
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Quality role within the medical device or biotech industry.
• Strong working knowledge of ALCOA+ principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate)
• Demonstrated experience auditing laboratory data under GCLP and clinical data under GCP
• Ability to compile data and summarize results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in authorship of standard operating procedures
• Experience with ISO Standards and FDA-regulated environment highly desirable
• Experience in quality system methodologies including but not limited to CAPA, Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis
• Must have proven interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong desire to work in a demanding, high-energy, hands-on environment
• Expert level use of Word, Excel, and Google Suite / Apps and experience with electronic document management systems

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. This position is also eligible for overtime pay. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Responsibilities:

• Principal responsibilities of this position include automation projects leadership.
• Lead the development and integration of the automation systems and related software tools, preparing the documentation for equipment validation and operating procedures.

Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on Process Development Scientist to join our exciting team.  In this role, you will be responsible for translating R&D breakthroughs into reagent production processes, specifically focusing on formulations, packaging, and QC assays/specifications.    This position bridges R&D and Manufacturing, ensuring that new products are robust, scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with ISO 13485/GMP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Formulation Process Development: Develop and optimize manufacturing methods for reagent formulations to ensure consistency, functionality, and stability.
• Reagent Packaging Process Development: Design and implement accurate and reproducible filling, dispensing, labeling, and sealing processes for liquid reagents into tubes and multi-well plates.
• Scale-Up: Transition laboratory-scale formulations and manual filling processes into robust, automated, or semi-automated production-scale processes.  Evaluate outsourcing to contract manufacturers, as needed.  Design scaled up and practical manufacturing processes, while identifying Critical Process Parameters and Critical Quality Attributes.
• QC Assay Development & Specs: Develop relevant in-process and finished product test methods (e.g. pH/conductivity, absorbance, real time PCR, library prep, sequencing, etc.) to ensure release of high-quality products.
• Validation: Generate validation plans/reports and execute studies to release robust new production processes, QC assays, and new equipment into Reagent Manufacturing.
• Technology Transfer: Collaborate with R&D for new product introduction (NPI) and transfer processes to Manufacturing, including drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BRs).
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues, including production failures and out-of-specification (OOS).  Identify root cause and quickly implement effective solutions.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all developed processes and documentation comply with ISO 13485, GMP, and internal quality standards. 

Requirements:

• Education: PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with 1-3+ years of industry experience; or Master's degree with 3-5+ years; or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years.
• Technical Skills: 
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR, PCR, enzyme assays, Library Preparation, Next Gen Sequencing).
  • Experience with oligonucleotides, enzymes, reagent formulation, mixing, and filling.
  • Expertise in scale up and technology transfer.
  • Knowledgeable in high throughput liquid handling automation (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton) and reagent packaging technology for tube/plate dispensing and labeling, a plus.

• Experience: Proven track record of independent achievements in reagent process development, NPI/technical transfer, or manufacturing support within a regulated IVD, clinical, or biotechnology environment.
• Software: Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Excel) and LIMs Systems.  Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and MES systems, a plus.
• Documentation: Strong technical writing skills for SOPs/batch records, validation protocols, and technical reports.
• Quality Systems: Strong understanding of ISO13485, GLP/GMP, and operating under strict SOPs.

Summary:

The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for managing clinical operations projects, which includes biospecimen management, GCP documentation, and compliance requirements related to Personalis clinical research studies and CRO partnerships. This individual will require an understanding of oncology molecular testing using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms, medical devices, and will interact with external partners to execute clinical operations, monitoring, regulatory, and clinical quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical operations activities.
• Manage Clinical study operations (internal and external) in coordination with CRO, IRB, regulatory, and quality teams.
• Support the program sponsor in preparation of clinical study operations.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. This role is designed for a technical "bridge" builder—someone who possesses deep expertise in high-performance networking (HPC) and Cisco security, but who is also comfortable managing a modern, hyperconverged infrastructure stack.

The successful candidate will lead the architecture and maintenance of our Cisco Nexus fabric, secure our perimeter with NextGen firewalls, and support a robust environment consisting of VxRail, VMware, and petabyte-scale HPC storage. You will be equally at home in a CLI environment as you are performing hands-on hardware management within our colocation data centers.

Responsibilities:

Network & Security Architecture (60%)

• HPC Networking: Architect, deploy, and optimize Cisco Nexus switches within a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
• Security & Firewalls: Full lifecycle management of Cisco NextGen Firewalls (NGFW). You must be proficient in configuring security policies, routing, and VLAN segmentation.
• VPN Management: Lead the setup and maintenance of VPN connections (Site-to-Site and Remote Access) on Cisco platforms.
• Circuit Operations: Oversee the provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network circuits and ISP handoffs.
• Cloud Connectivity: Act as a subject matter expert for hybrid-cloud networking, supporting connectivity between on-premise hardware and AWS/GCP (Direct Connect/Cloud Interconnect).

Infrastructure & Systems Management (30%)

• Virtualization: Administer and scale VMware clusters running on Dell VxRail hyperconverged infrastructure.

• Systems Administration: Provide tier-3 support for Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) and Active Directory environments.

Physical Operations  (10%)

The hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Summary:

The Senior Bioinformatics Scientist will work with a world-class, dynamic team of bioinformatics scientists, software engineers, and laboratory scientists, developing, testing, and applying cutting-edge cell-free and solid tumor cancer genomics products. Further, the Senior Bioinformatics Scientist will work closely with our clinical evidence generation teams, applying our cell-free technology solutions to large cancer patient cohorts and profiling patient response to therapy with our cfDNA platforms. This position will directly contribute to a new generation of genomics-based precision-medicine products for profiling MRD, ctDNA dynamics, and patient response to treatment. Our products are used by pharma, biotech, hospitals, and clinicians for managing patient treatment and therapeutic selection.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop novel cell-free technologies and products
• Collaborate closely with laboratory scientists to design experiments to develop and evaluate novel applications for cell-free DNA assays
• Draw on deep experience with genomics and statistics to model and improve performance of cell-free assays and features
• Synthesize large datasets to develop and evaluate new biological and technological hypotheses
• Partner with the clinical evidence generation team to ensure the applicability and evaluate the performance of novel assays or feature improvements
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of literature covering technological developments in the cell-free DNA and liquid biopsy space
• Publish results and present at conferences in exciting areas, including cell-free DNA and cancer genomics

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in bioinformatics, genomics, or a related field
• Extensive experience with cancer genomics
• Extensive experience with somatic mutational detection and filtering
• Experience with cancer liquid biopsy analysis
• Proficiency in the application of statistical methods to genomic applications
• Proficiency with at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, R)
• A track record of designing and implementing experimental approaches to confirm and elaborate upon findings from complex projects
• Experience publishing and presenting scientific results
