The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance technical solutions that meet client needs. You will engage with C-level executives and work cross-functionally with teams in GTM, Product, R&D, Operations, Data, and more to ensure client success while managing some of our most high-profile projects. What you’ll do

• Solution Design: Develop comprehensive designs, technical specifications, and solution blueprints that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Create innovative, scalable, and cost-effective technical solutions for both new and existing clients.
• Project Oversight: Act as the key project and client-facing representative, leading the implementation process from initial concept and design through testing and deployment. Ensure timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
• Requirements Evaluation: Evaluate complex requirements (business, technical, security, reporting, legal/regulatory) and assess feasibility. Collaborate with internal and partner teams to distill these into functional requirements.
• Documentation: Thoroughly document solutions for internal and external alignment, including drafting Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD), creating custom design flowcharts, and maintaining a comprehensive project knowledge base.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct existing solution reviews and performance optimizations to ensure the integrity, quality, and maintainability of solutions.
• Trusted Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor and technical expert during pre-sales meetings and throughout the implementation process for both external and internal points of contact.

Who you are

• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex technical solutions.
• Creative Problem-Solver: A passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes, coupled with strong attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic Execution: A proactive and strategic thinker with excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with APIs, SaaS products, and technologies, as well as proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Figma/Miro, Asana, Salesforce, Azure, etc.
• Business Acumen: Strong business understanding with a basic comfort level regarding commercials and contracts.
• Leadership Skills: Solid analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: Fintech background strongly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Regional Finance Team. This role will be based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will support accountants and auditors in daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone organized, responsible, and eager to grow in a dynamic work environment.

What you’ll do

Month end closing & financial analysis

• Perform month end closing duties including financial analysis, reviewing full general ledger, P&L, Balance sheet according to USGAAP, and/or any local GAAP in the Asia Pacific region; Experience in consolidation is also an added advantage.
• Handle accounting and taxation enquiries from clients.
• Assisting any audit requirements (Internal and external).

Corporate payments

• Process payment requests with relevant supporting documents and obtain proper approvals.

• Handle invoice settlements and expense reimbursements.

• Upload bank and ensure reconciliation of transactions to the internal system.

• Assisting relevant purchasing requestors and procurement team across APAC region if needed.

Financial Projects and Process Improvements

• Participate in finance transformation projects.
• Define and deliver process improvements across Finance team, focusing on:
• Process design/redesigning.
• Time-saving opportunities.
• Controls and risk assessment. 
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business studies or any professional accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 3 years accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge (and application) in accounting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS or equivalent.
• Hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ ERP.
• Well-versed in accounting & vendor payment processing procedures.
• High level of written and spoken English & Chinese.
• Experience in managing Asia Pacific region (or multiple regions).

Not a must but a great advantage:

• Experience in Power BI/ Business Central ERP / Microsoft Dynamics (NAV).
• Experience in cross-border e-commerce, online payment industry.

• Prior experience in engaging outsourced bookkeeping team.
