About this role:

Pave is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the design vision for AI across our platform. You'll be the person who figures out how AI should show up in Pave—how it communicates, how it earns user confidence, and where it will have the most impact. That starts with our conversational AI compensation analyst and extends into agentic workflows that connect the tools compensation teams already rely on today.

You'll establish the UX principles that govern how AI behaves at Pave, shape interaction patterns that scale, and have a real seat at the table when it comes to product direction. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to move from concepts through research and iteration to shipped features.

We need someone who can hold two things at once: a long-range vision for what AI-powered compensation work looks like, and the craft to build toward it week by week.

What You'll Bring

• Proven AI product impact: You've shipped LLM-powered experiences to production and can point to real outcomes—whether that's adoption, efficiency, or user trust. 
• Systems-level design thinking: You've designed end-to-end AI workflows, not just conversational interfaces. You think about failure states, guardrails, user control, and transparency, and you're energized by that complexity rather than intimidated by it.
• Strategic product influence: You've shaped the UX direction for large scope initiatives, influencing roadmap priorities and sequencing decisions in partnership with product and engineering leaders. 
• Builder mindset: You prototype, ship, and iterate. You want to see your work in customers' hands, and you take personal ownership of the outcome.
• Collaborative and constructive: You make the people around you better. You contribute to a healthy team dynamic and uplift those around you. You give and receive feedback, build strong cross-functional relationships, and genuinely care about the health of the team, not just the work.

The Sales Team @ Pave

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Pave, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing how companies approach compensation. Working directly with HR and Finance executives, you'll help shape the future of compensation technology while playing a crucial role in our go-to-market strategy. As one of our Enterprise AEs, you'll have the unique opportunity to influence product direction and scale our enterprise motion while working alongside founders, investors, and industry leaders.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drive complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with strategic prospects, focusing on six-figure deals that expand Pave's compensation network
• Partner with prospects' HR and Finance leadership to understand their compensation challenges and demonstrate how Pave can transform their practices
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions based on enterprise market needs and customer feedback
• Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with SDRs to build a robust pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts
• Work cross-functionally with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and drive successful customer outcomes
• Contribute to building and refining our enterprise sales playbook as we scale our go-to-market motion
• Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, helping them envision and implement modern compensation practices across their organizations

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of proven SaaS sales experience with a track record of consistently exceeding quota
• Demonstrated success in enterprise sales cycles (6 month+) with 6 figure deals 
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and multiple stakeholders
• Experience selling to HR, Finance, or other executive stakeholders in high-growth technology companies
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
• Excellence in discovery, solution positioning, and building business cases that resonate with executive buyers
• Track record of contributing beyond the traditional sales role to help build and scale sales organizations

The Account Management Team @ Pave

At Pave, our Account Management team is the engine behind customer retention and growth. We work with some of the most innovative companies in the world — helping them build smarter compensation programs, make data-driven decisions, and get the most out of the Pave platform. Our AMs aren't just relationship managers; they're trusted advisors who understand their customers' business deeply and bring real commercial value to every interaction. As we scale, we're looking for a Director of Account Management to lead this team, raise the bar on what great looks like, and own the retention and expansion outcomes that sit at the heart of Pave's growth story.

What You'll Do

• Own the number. Take full accountability for GDR and NDR across Pave's core customer base, actively managing the health of the book and driving the team toward 90%+ GDR and 110%+ NDR targets.
• Lead and develop a high-performing AM team. Coach, mentor, and performance manage a team of Account Managers — building the culture, habits, and skills needed to retain and grow customers at every stage of the lifecycle.
• Build scalable AM processes. Design and implement account coverage models, renewal forecasting frameworks, and customer health scoring that give the team a clear, repeatable playbook for managing their book of business.
• Drive expansion and advocacy. Partner with Sales to identify and convert expansion opportunities, and turn your most satisfied customers into active Pave champions — references, case studies, and pipeline contributors.
• Develop a scaled motion for the long-tail. Establish an efficient, low-touch coverage model for downmarket and pre-ICP customers that preserves retention without over-indexing resources.
• Champion the voice of the customer internally. Synthesize AM feedback, escalations, and product gaps into actionable input for R&D, ensuring the roadmap reflects what matters most to Pave's customer base.
• Partner cross-functionally. Serve as the primary CS stakeholder in Sales, Marketing, and R&D partnerships — from smooth handoffs at close, to sourcing customer stories for marketing, to representing CS in company-wide planning.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of post-sales experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 3 years in an AM leadership role owning a team and retention/expansion metrics.
• A demonstrated track record of improving NDR and GDR at a company with a comparable ACV and ARR profile — you've owned the number and hit it.
• Strong commercial instincts — you're comfortable leading renewal negotiations, navigating executive-level relationships, and coaching your team to do the same.
• Experience building and scaling AM processes from the ground up, including coverage models, health scoring, and forecasting — you don't just manage, you build.
• A proven ability to recruit, develop, and performance manage high-performing AM teams — you know how to raise the floor and the ceiling.
• Deep cross-functional credibility — you've worked closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing and know how to get things done across organizational lines.
• Strong communication and executive presence — you represent the customer at the leadership table and can hold your own in front of a VP or C-suite stakeholder, both internally and externally.
• Experience at a high-growth startup is strongly preferred — you're comfortable with ambiguity, can build in a fast-moving environment, and thrive without a fully-defined playbook.
