We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who will work to ensure the availability of Onapsis Security Products. The SRE will be directly accountable for monitoring, inspecting, troubleshooting, and resolving service and product issues while continuously working with engineering partners to improve telemetry and automation. 

What you will be doing, your legacy: 

You’ll participate in writing and deploying software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Onapsis products and services while solving complex problems related to cloud services and remotely deployed products. You’ll also learn from designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. 

As a member of the global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team on the shared full-stack ownership, you’ll understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services. 

This role will spend significant time doing "ops" related work such as production issues and service on-call. When not working on operations, you will work on software engineering tasks such as designing and developing systems that increase our reliability and scalability and reduce operational overhead through automation. The ideal SRE candidate is a proficient programmer who has a considerable breadth of knowledge and experience, including areas such as networking, internet protocols, and Linux systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience, including DevOps, Software Engineering Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), and on-call rotations, working on highly scalable distributed systems  
• 1+ years of programming experience writing code in OOP like Java/Python or Shell scripting
• Experience managing Linux OS (Debian/Ubuntu), Queue servers (RabbitMQ), and Database instances
• Knowledge working with monitoring systems, both APMs and Infrastructure monitoring
• Knowledge using Code Version Control like Git
• Knowledge with orchestration/automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, etc.)
• Knowledge with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience deploying code using CI/CD tools like GiLab Pipelines within change management procedures
• Experience participating in or running incident bridges
• Cloud-native application development and Cloud Technologies  in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience troubleshooting complex software and networking issues
• Customer obsession, passion for delighting customers
• Understanding of cloud concepts, on-premise infrastructure, and platforms
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Occasional evening or weekend on-call support may be required for critical system releases or emergencies.

• Knowledge in cloud support, operations, NOC, or similar is preferred but not required
• Security software development best practices

Working with leadership, product management, and the Onapsis research team. You will be engaged in evaluating, scoping, proposing, and building features to fulfill business solution requirements to protect our customers. Work collaboratively with a team of cybersecurity researchers, engineers, and product managers to iterate toward product definition and realization. Additionally, you will be working with the Architecture team to take the platform to the next level of maturity in terms of technologies and architecture design while advancing our quality engineering processes to deliver high-quality products and services while also working closely with security and IT professionals to ensure safe and secure systems architectures are followed. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
• 3+ years SAP ABAP experience with in-depth knowledge of general ABAP programming techniques, including ABAP-OO and new ABAP language constructs, BAdI, Enhancements, and dialog programming 
• Knowledge of programming lifecycles approaches using Agile Methodology and Scrum and understanding of common programming principles.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks while meeting committed deadlines
• Self-motivated and team player
• Able to document implementation designs using standard tools (e.g. UML)
• Hands-on experience with SAP interfacing technologies (RFCs, Rest/OData, Web Services, BAPI's) are a plus

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for experienced data engineers with a proven track record in architecting scalable data pipelines, leveraging cloud technologies, and contributing to high-impact cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for building high-performance ETL frameworks, optimizing data platforms, and contributing directly to the enhancement of our customers' threat detection, response, and remediation capabilities.

You will be working directly with company Principal Engineers evaluating, scoping, proposing, and building features to fulfill business solution requirements to protect our customers. You will play a direct role in laying the technical foundation for a new product offering. Additionally, you will be working with Engineering and DevOps to deliver high-quality products and services while also working closely with security and IT professionals to ensure safe and secure best practices are followed. 

Responsibilities:

• Architect and Design Scalable Data Solutions: Design/develop/maintain Data lakehouse solutions (Iceberg/Delta Lake /Hudi) applying industry best practices and structuring / optimizing the data according to data access patterns.
• Data Pipeline Development: Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud technologies (Spark / pySpark / Glue, Kinesis Streams / Iceberg) to load the data into a Lakehouse for both efficient ML processing and UI reporting.
• Implement data models and data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake) to ingest, transform, and load large datasets into Data Lakehouse techs (Apache Iceberg, Apache Delta Lake or Apache Hudi), ensuring high availability and reliability of data.
• Advanced Data Integration: Develop solutions that integrate multiple data sources into Snowflake or similar data warehouses to enable real-time analytics and reporting across dashboards.
• AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-develop AI-driven features identifying patterns and anomalies in client data using AI/ML technologies (python).
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and secure best practices (SOX, SOC 1/2), by implementing data governance frameworks, monitoring data pipelines, and optimizing cloud database architectures to protect sensitive information.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including analysts, engineers, and product managers, to understand their data needs, propose solutions, and drive data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with AWS (preferably) or Azure , particularly with Glue, EMR, S3, Lambda. Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse experience is a bonus.
• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and Databricks for distributed data processing.
• Proficiency with Python libraries for data processing and ML (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Polars, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
