About the Opportunity

This is a hybrid onsite position. Candidates must be in the Bay Area, CA.

We're looking for a Senior Visual/UI Designer to join the Visual System Team — the team responsible for how OKX looks and feels across every product surface (Mobile + Web). You'll work at the intersection of brand expression and product design, crafting the visual layer that makes OKX products feel distinctive, coherent, and trusted.

This isn't a role where you receive a finalized wireframe and skin it. You'll be involved early — shaping how features are visually conceived, how brand moments are integrated into product flows, and how visual systems scale across an ecosystem of products used by millions.

You'll work within OKX's Visual Systems infrastructure alongside the Design System and Content System teams, contributing to scalable visual frameworks — illustration guidelines, motion principles, iconography standards, and brand-in-product patterns — that raise quality across the entire product.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design product visual experiences. Create high-quality visual and UI design for OKX products — spanning trading, wallet, payments, and social features. Own the visual execution of key product surfaces, from concept through to pixel-perfect delivery. Balance beauty with clarity in a domain where trust and usability are non-negotiable.
Contribute to visual systems. Work within and contribute to OKX's visual systems — shared illustration styles, motion tokens, color systems, iconography, and layout patterns. Your work should strengthen the system, not create one-off exceptions. Think in terms of reusable, scalable assets, not just deliverables.
Use AI tools in your design workflow. Actively integrate AI into your daily practice — using generative tools for ideation, exploration, variation, and asset production. You're expected to experiment with AI-assisted workflows and bring what works back to the team. This is a core part of how we work, not an optional extra.
Bridge brand and product. Translate brand direction into in-product visual experiences. Work with the Brand Design team to ensure that visual identity is consistent from marketing to core product — same palette, same sensibility, same quality bar.
Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with product designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure visual design decisions are grounded in user needs and technically feasible. Participate in design reviews, give and receive critique constructively, and communicate your rationale clearly.
Pitch and present. Propose creative concepts to team leads and stakeholders. Articulate the reasoning behind visual choices — not just what you designed, but why it's the right solution for the user and the brand.

What We Look For In You

4–6 years of experience in visual design or UI design, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong craft, attention to detail, and modern design sensibility across digital products. Mobile-first experience is essential.
Fluency with AI design tools — you actively use tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, Figma AI features, or similar generative tools in your design workflow for ideation, exploration, and production. You don't just know about them; you use them to work faster and think wider.
Strong visual craft — typography, color, composition, layout, and a keen eye for detail. You deliver pixel-perfect work and care about the micro-interactions and polish that separate good from great.
Experience contributing to or working within design systems — you understand tokens, components, and how individual design decisions connect to a larger visual language.
Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools. Ability to produce high-fidelity prototypes that communicate motion and interaction intent.
Solid understanding of human-centered design principles and how visual design serves usability, trust, and emotional connection — not just aesthetics.
Clear communication skills — you can articulate design rationale, present to stakeholders, receive critique gracefully, and collaborate with non-designers.

Nice to Haves

Experience designing for fintech, crypto, or trading platforms — you understand the visual language of trust, precision, and data density.
Illustration or motion skills — you can create original visual assets, not just compose them.
Experience working with globally distributed teams across offices and time zones.
Familiarity with how visual design integrates with front-end implementation — you understand CSS, design tokens, and component architecture well enough to collaborate effectively with engineers.

About the Opportunity:

The Sr Data Scientist, Risk will offer a strategic perspective, deep analytical and modeling capabilities, and a collaborative working style. The right candidate will have strong intellectual curiosity and passion for achieving business results.

An ability to quickly define the problem, research and leverage state-of-the-art modeling techniques, and provide timely recommendations will be essential. What You’ll Be Doing:

Identify complex fraud patterns and their technical root causes through detailed data mining and analysis, including identification of sophisticated fraud methods employed by actors who are deliberately trying to avoid detection.
Serve as technical SME by sharing new data mining techniques, maintaining technical reference documentation, and interfacing with partner technology teams.
Collaborate across business and technology stakeholders to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide technical guidance for engineering projects that incorporate new data points into the investigation team’s toolkit, such as API integrations or internal data transformations.
Link Analysis/Graph analytics to find and mitigate deeply-connected fraud networks and detect new accounts being added to these networks

What We Look For In You:

4+ years of fraud analytics experience in financial services or FinTechs
Crypto/Blockchain experience

We're looking for a Design Director of Visual Systems to own the visual language, creative quality, and brand coherence of OKX's product experiences. The core mandate: build and scale the visual infrastructure that ensures brand intent translates into what users actually see in the product.

What We Look For In You

10+ years in data science, quantitative analytics, or ML, with meaningful time in a leadership or senior individual contributor capacity in a compliance or regulatory analytics environment within financial services, fintech, or a crypto exchange. About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Growth GM to lead the next phase of expansion for our Token Market and DEX Aggregator. You'll own the full growth mandate, from liquidity strategy and ecosystem partnerships to trader acquisition and community-driven volume growth. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role for someone who can think in systems, move fast, and execute at every layer of the funnel.

You'll be the person who gets us to top-tier market share positioning against competitors including Jupiter and Axiom, owning both our B2B (institutional/professional traders) and B2C (community/retail) growth lines simultaneously.

North Star Metrics you'll own: DAT (Daily Active Traders), DTV (Daily Trading Volume), and Revenue.

What You'll Own

Growth Strategy & Market Expansion

Define and execute a holistic growth strategy to meaningfully expand market share in the Token Market and DEX Aggregator landscape, with a clear focus on outcompeting Jupiter, Axiom, and other key rivals
Identify and prioritize growth levers across product, distribution, liquidity, and community
Set OKRs, own the growth P&L, and report directly to senior leadership
Navigate regional regulatory landscapes proactively, ensure all growth programs (incentive structures, KOL partnerships, regional campaigns) are designed with compliance boundaries in mind across key markets (US, Korea, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.)

Liquidity & Asset Strategy

Build relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, and institutional desks to secure differentiated and exclusive liquidity
Identify and onboard high-demand assets ahead of competitors; develop a pipeline for exclusive or early listings
Work closely with the product and BD teams to translate liquidity insights into structural advantages

Trader & B2B Channel Development

Recruit and negotiate with high-volume traders and professional trading desks, structuring customized incentive programs (fee tiers, rebates, volume-based rewards)
Build scalable B2B acquisition playbooks for trading firms, prop desks, and on-chain power users
Own deal efficiency metrics: time-to-close, volume activated per deal, retention of top accounts

Community & B2C Growth

Develop partnerships with crypto influencers, KOLs, and community leaders across key markets (CT, Telegram, Discord, regional communities)
Design and run community-driven campaigns, trading competitions, and referral programs that convert engagement into sustained volume
Build a network of ambassadors and regional growth leads

Cross-functional Leadership

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to align growth initiatives with platform capabilities
Lead and develop an existing growth team, raising the bar on execution quality and output velocity
Synthesize market intelligence to inform product roadmap and competitive positioning
Define team OKRs and performance benchmarks tied directly to DAT, DTV, and revenue targets

Who You Are

5–10+ years of experience in growth, BD, or market expansion roles, ideally in crypto/DeFi/CeFi or high-growth fintech
Deep understanding of DEX/DeFi mechanics: AMMs, order books, liquidity pools, token incentives, on-chain trading behavior
Proven track record of building and closing B2B partnerships with traders, funds, or institutional counterparties
Experience structuring incentive programs (fee structures, rebates, VIP tiers) and measuring their ROI against volume and revenue impact
Strong existing network within the crypto trading and community ecosystem — you can make calls that others can't
Demonstrated ability to lead both B2B and B2C growth tracks simultaneously, balancing institutional partnership development with community-driven retail acquisition
Comfortable with regulatory nuance: familiar with compliance constraints across multiple jurisdictions and able to design growth programs that are both aggressive and defensible
Data-driven and analytically rigorous: fluent in growth metrics, funnel analytics, and on-chain data interpretation; able to independently query and analyze on-chain data (Dune, Nansen, Token Terminal, etc.) to drive growth decisions — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have
Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin); able to operate effectively across English-speaking and Chinese-speaking markets and communities
Excellent communicator, able to negotiate with sophisticated counterparties and energize communities equally well
Comfortable being both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator; you don't wait for a team to execute

Nice to Have

Prior experience at a top-tier DEX, CEX, or DeFi protocol in a growth or BD capacity
Existing relationships with market makers or professional trading firms
Experience running multi-region growth programs
Familiarity with competing products including Jupiter, Axiom, and other DEX aggregators
