The Role
We are hiring for a new team within Core Identity, the Engineering organization entrusted with the very heart of the Auth0 application. Our teams own the authentication pipeline, identity protocols, user sessions, and all the fundamental concepts and foundational elements that underpin our entire product. We are also the stewards of the platform's technical health, performance, and efficiency.
As a Senior Engineer for this new team, named Core Frontier, you will operate at the vital intersection of deep product innovation and the global customer experience. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the FGA Developer Tooling team in India.
This team owns the end to end developer experience for FGA across OSS and SaaS, including SDKs in Go, JavaScript, .NET, Python, Java and other languages, the SDK generator that powers them, CLI workflows, IDE integrations, GitHub automation, developer documentation, and release strategy. The way software acts in the world is changing. AI agents don't just respond to users. They take actions, call APIs, hold credentials, and operate across systems on behalf of people and organizations. That shift raises a fundamental question: how do you extend identity to an agent?
The AI Framework & Services team sits within Auth0's AI Products organization and is focused on exactly that problem. We're building the product capabilities that let developers bring identity and authorization into agentic systems, treating agents as real principals with real access controls and real accountability.
This is an early-stage, high-ownership space. The product surface is still being defined, the customer problems are real and unsolved, and the team shapes both what we build and how we build it. We work closely with security, platform, and product partners to deliver capabilities that developers can trust in production.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the AIFS team, you'll own and deliver product capabilities at the intersection of identity, security, and AI-powered applications. Your primary focus will be backend systems: APIs, services, integration patterns, and the infrastructure that makes access control work reliably at scale. You'll also work across the stack when the product demands it.
You'll work in an environment where the right abstractions aren't always obvious, where customer needs are still crystallizing, and where what you build today may become foundational to how developers authenticate and authorize AI agents tomorrow. If you want real ownership of hard problems in a space that matters, this role is for it.
Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, FAPI, token-based access control).
Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, orchestration tools, or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Exposure to agentic application patterns: tool use, multi-step workflows, agent-to-agent communication.
Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Prior work on developer-facing APIs, SDKs, or integrations where developer experience was a first-class concern.
Contributions to open-source projects relevant to identity, security, or AI tooling.
This is a team working at the edge of what identity means in a world of AI agents. You'll have real ownership of hard, unsolved problems, backed by Okta's platform, Auth0's developer relationships, and a team that values technical depth and customer impact in equal measure.
You'll help shape the product, not just implement a backlog. You'll work with people who care about getting the details right. And you'll be building something that matters to the developers and organizations trying to do AI responsibly.

The End User Protection Team
Auth0 is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We ensure access to applications is safe, secure, and seamless for the more than 100 million daily logins worldwide. Our modern approach to identity enables this Tier-0 global service to deliver convenience, privacy, and security, allowing customers to focus on innovation.
The End User Protection team is responsible for building and maintaining Auth0’s Attack Protection capabilities. Cyberattacks, such as credential stuffing and password spraying, often target end users to gain unauthorised access to applications. These attacks pose a significant threat, compromising user accounts and data. The Attack Protection features mitigate these risks by continuously monitoring user login behaviour and automatically detecting and blocking malicious activity. They protect users without adding unnecessary friction.
The team works closely with our Machine Learning and AI teams to develop and deploy cutting-edge detection models. This collaboration allows application builders to provide a secure login experience for their users while isolating them from the complexities and ever-evolving tactics of these attacks.
