Job Summary

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll ensure the accuracy of the company’s books and records, acting as a reliable partner to the accounting, payroll, and FP&A teams. This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to take ownership of the daily and monthly accounting tasks and grow within the finance team.
This is an in-office role based in our Brooklyn office, with some flexibility as needed.
Key Responsibilities
The Monthly Close: execute the month-end closing process, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations (ex: prepaids, fixed assets, and payroll) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Cash: manage the daily bank feeds to accurately and promptly record cash transactions
Accounts Receivable: invoice customers in a timely manner, reconcile billings to contracts, and follow up with customers to collect payment of overdue invoices.
Accounts Payable and Credit Card Expenses: assist the accounts payable contractor with invoice entry and coding and review credit card expenses for policy compliance.
Financial analysis: identify and scrutinize expenses for potential cost savings, research solutions, and present findings to the Controller and CFO.
Process Improvement: identify inefficiencies in the accounting cycle and implement automated solutions and/or tighter internal controls with team members across the company.
Ad hoc requests: assist the Controller, CFO, and other departments with additional reporting and requests as needed
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification: active CPA or working toward CPA license is a plus
Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting experience is a plus).
Tech Stack: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables). Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and finance automation platforms (ex: Ramp) a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with external contacts, internal management, and accounting and finance team
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information

As the Associate Clinical Director (ACD) for CCM/PCM programs, you will support the Senior Director in driving operational excellence, quality assurance, and program performance across Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Principal Care Management (PCM) initiatives. This role blends operational leadership, data analysis, and clinical program oversight, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across teams and facilities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in care management workflows, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Program Oversight
Support the Senior Director in executing program goals, initiatives, and quality metrics for CCM and PCM
Oversee daily operations to ensure staff meet documentation, accuracy, and productivity standards
Provide real-time support to coordinators for workflow and charting challenges
Ensure consistent implementation of policies, workflows, and compliance standards across all facilities
Training, Auditing & Quality Assurance
Conduct routine chart audits to ensure adherence to CMS guidelines and internal standards
Support onboarding and ongoing training for coordinators, reinforcing documentation accuracy and workflow consistency
Partner with the Quality Assurance team to identify trends, gaps, and systemic issues; implement corrective action plans
Support and educate offshore teams to ensure accurate data entry and alignment with clinical documentation
Reporting & Process Improvement
Partner with leadership to conduct deep-dive analyses of reporting outputs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Validate consistency between interactive dashboards and static reports; identify and resolve discrepancies
Lead initiatives within reporting-focused projects to enhance usability, reliability, and audit readiness
Track and trend key metrics including accuracy, productivity, and audit completion rates; present actionable insights
Facility & DON Outreach Support
Prepare and validate facility-facing reports for Director of Nursing (DON) outreach initiatives
Support coordination of DON meetings and synthesize feedback for leadership review
Assist in training leadership teams on conducting effective clinical and relationship-driven discussions with facility partners
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Leads, QA, Compliance, and Data Analytics teams to ensure alignment
Maintain consistent communication with the Senior Director regarding progress, risks, and operational needs
Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; clinical or healthcare-related field preferred
4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, care management, quality assurance, or clinical program oversight
Strong understanding of CCM/PCM workflows, CMS documentation requirements, and compliance standards
Experience with data analysis, reporting validation, and performance tracking
Proven ability to identify process gaps and implement scalable improvements
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities

As a CCM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of MedElite’s Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Principal Care Management (PCM) programs. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will lead a team of clinical coordinators, ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, and drive operational excellence across workflows, productivity, and quality. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience in healthcare operations, performance management, and process improvement within care management programs.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Daily Operations
Oversee daily operational performance of CCM/PCM programs, ensuring adherence to CMS requirements and organizational standards
Monitor and verify team attendance daily (via EMPEON and in-person checks)
Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinator questions, workload issues, and operational escalations
Implement and optimize workflows; drive continuous improvement in collaboration with Clinical Directors and Operations leadership
Attend and present in required meetings or ensure appropriate coverage
Staff Oversight, Support & Performance Management
Supervise, coach, and provide day-to-day direction to CCM/PCM clinical coordinators
Deliver targeted coaching and support for low-performing team members
Track productivity, accuracy, and compliance metrics; manage KPIs and performance improvement plans
Execute progressive discipline in partnership with HR and leadership
Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture to support retention
Onboarding, Training & Competency
Conduct interviews and lead onboarding and orientation for new hires, including a structured 30–90 day training period

Administrative & Systems Management
Approve or deny PTO requests and resolve payroll discrepancies or missed punches
Manage employee system access across required platforms (ROPHE, EMSOW, eMARS)
Maintain and report monthly retention data, including hires, terminations, and attrition
Communication & Collaboration
Lead daily team huddles to align on priorities, goals, and performance expectations
Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins and coaching sessions
Partner cross-functionally with BHI/CoCM, Population Health, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare-related field preferred
3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, care management, or clinical program leadership
Prior experience managing teams in CCM, PCM, or population health programs preferred
Strong understanding of CMS guidelines, documentation, and billing practices
Proven ability to manage performance, analyze data, and drive operational improvements
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with EMRs and systems such as ROPHE, EMSOW, or eMARS preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
