About the Role
The Writer is the voice behind Martell Group’s written content, responsible for crafting copy, captions, scripts, and written assets that perform across every platform and content format.
This role requires the ability to write in distinct brand voices without defaulting to generic or AI-sounding content. This is not a position for someone who relies entirely on AI to generate copy. The ideal candidate is a strategic creative who understands the weight every word carries in shaping a powerful brand.
Beyond captions and social copy, the Writer contributes to long-form scripts, newsletters, email campaigns, promotional copy, and any written asset tied to brand communication or content performance. They work closely with the Social Producer and Creative Producer to ensure written content aligns with visual direction, platform strategy, and audience expectations.
This role is focused on maintaining brand consistency while intelligently integrating AI tools to increase output, accelerate ideation, and improve workflow efficiency without compromising quality or authenticity.
The Writer reports directly to the Creative Producer and may work fully remotely.
Responsibilities
Social Copy & Captions
Write platform-native captions for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Threads
Develop compelling hooks, CTAs, and caption structures that drive engagement and retention
Adapt tone, structure, and formatting based on platform-specific best practices
Maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across all channels
Script & Long-Form Writing
Write or refine scripts for YouTube episodes, short-form videos, and branded content
Develop repeatable written frameworks for recurring content formats and series
Support the Creative Producer with written briefs, outlines, and episode structures
Write titles, descriptions, and metadata optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO discoverability
Promotional & Campaign Copy
Write copy for episode launches, campaigns, newsletters, and promotional initiatives
Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging with funnel strategy and campaign goals
Support paid ad creative copy when needed in collaboration with marketing
Work alongside the internal PR team and communications manager on quotes and external communications
Brand Voice & Standards
Maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines
Build and manage a living brand voice library, including signature phrases and messaging references that support scalable, authentic content creation
Ensure all written output from internal teams, contractors, and vendors aligns with established brand standards
Identify off-brand messaging and provide clear corrective direction
AI Integration
Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts, generate variations, and test hooks or messaging angles
Build and maintain prompt libraries and writing systems that improve team efficiency
Identify opportunities where AI can reduce low-value writing tasks without sacrificing quality or brand integrity
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Social Producer to align captions with video content and visual framing
Coordinate with the design team to ensure copy and visuals work cohesively
Collaborate with the Creative Producer on voice direction, content priorities, and writing standards
Requirements
5+ years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or brand writing for digital media or personal brands
Proven ability to write in multiple distinct voices while maintaining authenticity and quality
Strong understanding of social platform behavior and high-performing copy formats
Experience writing video scripts, captions, newsletters, and long-form content at scale
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of clarity, rhythm, and persuasion
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, or equivalent platforms, or a demonstrated drive to integrate AI into daily workflows
Strong collaborator who takes direction well and communicates creative feedback clearly
Results
Assigned brands maintain consistent, on-brand written communication across all active platforms
Caption and hook performance improves measurably through engagement and click-through metrics
Scripts and long-form written assets are delivered on schedule without creating production bottlenecks

The Role
We’re hiring a full-time Technical Support Engineer to own the customer support queue end to end. The majority of tickets fall into a few recurring patterns - API key and billing issues with third-party providers, container connectivity problems, config sync failures, and memory/continuity bugs - but the debugging can get deep. You’ll need to be comfortable working in Linux environments, reading container logs, querying databases, and reasoning through multi-stage systems to find where something broke.
This isn’t a “restart it and close the ticket” role. Our highest-frequency issue (third-party API key failures) requires understanding the difference between “our platform broke something” and “your API provider account ran out of credits.” Our hardest issues involve diagnosing connectivity failures across distributed infrastructure, and figuring out which component in the chain dropped. You’ll need strong diagnostic instincts and the patience to work through ambiguous symptoms.

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced operator who has lived the 0–1 journey. Someone who knows how to take a SaaS product from concept to paying customers. As an AI Business Lead at Martell Group, you’ll be the commercial lead behind new ventures, shaping their go-to-market strategy, validating revenue models, and driving early sales traction.
Who we’re looking for
This role is for a founder, not an operator.
You have founded or co-founded a B2B SaaS company and taken it past early revenue. Second or third time preferred.
You have sold to SMBs as the founder. You know how to sit in a prospect’s pain and close without a script.
You can build your own pipeline from day one. You are not here to harvest an existing audience. You earn distribution by proving traction first.
You index for the customer. You know how to kill features customers haven’t paid for.
You stay calm under constant change. Pivots happen. Roadmaps shift. You adapt and keep moving.
Prior success inside Dan Martell’s network is a strong plus.
What you’ll do
You will lead a new venture through validation, early revenue, and the first phase of scale. In the early weeks you operate solo, validating demand and closing your first paying customers using concierge delivery. Once demand is proven, Martell Ventures pairs you with a Tech Lead we have sourced and selected. You confirm working-style fit. From there you co-lead the build and scale the business alongside them.
Specifically you will:
Define the ideal customer, offer, and pricing.
Build your own outbound pipeline and run daily sales activity.
Close early paying customers and deliver value before a product is fully built.
Capture customer signal and set the product direction for your Tech Lead.
Report daily in the early weeks and shift to weekly as the business stabilizes. Attend growth reviews with the Portfolio Growth Leader.
Ship repeatable sales, onboarding, and delivery processes as you grow.

About the role
You’ll work directly with the Financial & Operational Controller on everything from day-to-day accounting and KPI reporting to tax filings, due diligence, and building internal financial systems. This is a high-exposure, high-ownership role — you’ll see the full picture of how a venture studio operates financially and get reps in areas most junior finance roles don’t touch for years.

• Accounting support: journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close across multiple entities
• Intercompany reconciliations across CAD and USD entities
• Review month-end results and identify and comment on anomalies prior to review with partner leaders

Reporting & Data
• Support data integrity across the portfolio — MRR, EV, KPI tracking, week-over-week variance

• Monitor and create in-house solutions for tracking financial data across the portfolio
Tax & Compliance

• Prepare and file various provincial and federal remittances including PST, WorkSafe BC, and Employee Health Tax (EHT)
Planning & Analysis

About the Role
We are hiring a senior growth operator to work directly with founders across our portfolio companies.
Your job is simple to describe but hard to execute:
help companies go from idea to product-market fit and scale revenue fast.
You will install and run a repeatable growth system across multiple ventures, working side by side with founders to improve acquisition, activation, monetization, and retention.
This role is hands-on, high-impact, and requires someone who has already built and scaled companies before.

About the Role
We are hiring a world-class growth operator who has scaled multiple companies and built early-stage systems inside top-tier venture environments. You will own the studio-wide growth engine and ensure every venture reaches Product-Market-Fit (PMF), revenue, and adoption milestones that compound Martell Ventures enterprise value.
You operate with Speed over Perfection, Own the Outcome, and Act Like a Founder, holding yourself and founders to elite execution standards. Once founders enter the studio, you install the Martell Ventures Growth OS across the portfolio and run a unified growth system covering acquisition, activation, monetization, and retention.
You will define ICP clarity, positioning, offer design, activation paths, pricing, and funnel integrity for every venture while enforcing truth, speed, and founder-level ownership. This role is for a GTM operator who has taken products from zero to $5M plus in ARR, can diagnose problems quickly, prescribe the right interventions, and build growth systems that scale across ventures.

Our platform replaces manual spreadsheets and lagging accounting data with real-time visibility, intelligent bookkeeping, and proactive financial controlling. You will be responsible for moving the product through our 3-phase roadmap: from real-time data aggregation to AI-driven automated collections and payments.
