The Facilities Engineering Manager for AMP2 will lead the engineering functions across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Civil, and Controls disciplines. This role is responsible for planning and tracking CAPEX, governing engineering standards, supporting infrastructure projects, and ensuring facility readiness for production and expansion activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to compliance and documentation.

You Will:

Develop, manage, and monitor annual CAPEX budgets for facility upgrades and expansions.
Lead MEP, Civil, and Controls engineering teams to ensure robust design, execution, and maintenance of facility systems.
Establish and enforce engineering standards for MEP and Controls across production and office zones.
Provide technical support for infrastructure projects, including design reviews, feasibility assessments, and execution oversight.
Support infrastructure development for new projects, expansions, and facility modifications.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance for all facility upgrades.
Review and update as-built drawings, asset tagging, and system documentation to maintain accurate records.
Resolve system punch lists with contractors and ensure proper registration and tracking of warranties.
Monitor and optimize utility demand including CUP, HVAC, and electrical systems for efficiency and sustainability.
Support launch-related activities by ensuring facility readiness and realignment of workshops and support zones.

You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or Equipment Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.
8+ years of experience in facilities engineering or industrial infrastructure management.
Proven experience in managing CAPEX and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, controls, and industrial utilities.
Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and asset management systems.
Excellent project management and documentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve technical issues and contractor punch lists.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to drive energy efficiency, utility optimization, and sustainability initiatives.

The Facility Controls Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Lucid’s AMP-2 facility automated systems. You will design, program, commission, and maintain control systems that manage HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and other automated infrastructure. You will lead controls projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance, reliability, and safety.

You Will:

Lead the design, development, programming, testing, and commissioning of control systems including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and BMS for facility automation.
Develop and optimize control strategies for HVAC, electrical distribution, mechanical systems, and other critical infrastructure.
Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis of control system failures and implement effective corrective actions.
Maintain, update, and enhance existing control system software and hardware to improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration and efficient facility operations.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as control schematics, logic diagrams, system narratives, and operation manuals.
Ensure control systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and Lucid policies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and commissioning activities related to control systems.
Support facility expansions, upgrades, and retrofit projects with controls engineering expertise.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors during control system installation, testing, and validation phases.
Implement best practices in control system security and reliability.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.

You Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical and control Engineering, or Automation and Control Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in control systems engineering, preferably in facility management or industrial automation.
Proven experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and BMS systems design, programming, and troubleshooting.
Strong control logic programming skills (ladder logic, structured text).
Expertise integrating control systems with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, Ethernet/IP).
Familiarity with HVAC systems and facility automation equipment.
Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulatory compliance (NFPA, OSHA, IEC).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Effective project management and leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in creating technical documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The Facility Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of Lucid’s AMP-2 facility mechanical systems. You will design, implement, operate, and continuously improve HVAC, chilled and hot water, compressed air, fire protection, and other mechanical utilities that support manufacturing operations. You will lead mechanical projects, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety.

You Will:

Design, specification, and implementation of mechanical systems to meet production and operational demands.
Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, and fire protection systems.
Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs in partnership with the maintenance team to maximize uptime and efficiency.
Support facility readiness for equipment installations, shutdown coordination, and facility upgrades.
Review technical drawings, P&IDs, and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project and engineering requirements.
Conduct performance analyses on mechanical systems and drive energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure adherence to local regulations, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA), and Lucid internal policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Construction, EHS, and Maintenance to meet plant readiness and production objectives.
Manage contractor performance, spare parts strategy, and mechanical project delivery.
Participate in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities related to mechanical utilities.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the facilities organization.

You Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Equipment Engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience.
2+ years of experience in facility mechanical systems within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Proven expertise with HVAC, piping systems, pumps, air compressors, thermal utilities, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and P&ID interpretation.
Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA).
Experience implementing preventive/predictive maintenance and energy efficiency initiatives.
Familiarity with BMS/BAS system integration and CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo).
Demonstrated project management and vendor coordination skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
Certifications such as LEED, energy management, or commissioning are a plus.
Experience in cleanroom or automotive manufacturing environments is preferred.

As a Maintenance Supervisor of Facilities you will lead and oversee the continuous operation and maintenance of facility systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance. This role requires a technically proficient engineer who can supervisor outsourced teams, manage emergencies and ensure seamless operations across all shifts.

You Will:

Ensure uninterrupted facility operations by providing engineering oversight across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays 24/7.
Supervise and guide outsourced maintenance teams, ensuring proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Act as the subject matter expert for critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Monitor contractor performance, enforce safety and quality standards, and validate compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
Lead the technical response to facility emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate rapid recovery actions.
Review and validate maintenance reports, shift logs, and incident records. Provide technical input for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and internal policies.

You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
2+ years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead engineering role.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Familiarity with CMMS, BMS, and energy management systems.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance strategies, and emergency response protocols.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently across shifts and manage multiple stakeholders.
