The Associate Architectural Designer is part of the Brand Design team. The Brand Design team is responsible for shaping and maintaining LA28’s visual identity, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence across all platforms and touchpoints. This includes a variable emblem system, typography, color palette, imagery, patterns, environments and more—elements that work together to create a distinctive and memorable brand experience.
Beyond developing and managing the visual brand, the team also leads key Games design initiatives, including brand venue application, podiums, and cauldron. Additionally, they provide internal creative services to support the broader organization, bringing the spirit of LA28 to life through thoughtful and strategic design.
The Brand Design team is looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Associate Architectural Designer reporting to Sr Manager, 3D Environmental Design, to support a wide range of creative needs across the organization. While contributing to key Games deliverables, this role will primarily focus on applying the brand to venues, events, activations and industrial design projects, ensuring brand consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate is a multi-skilled environmental designer, capable of working across a variety of mediums, including sketches, mood boards, Conceptual Design, 3D modeling, rendering, mock-ups, and more. They should bring thoughtful, professional design skills, along with strong organization, time management, and communication abilities.
This role requires someone who is comfortable managing their own workload, prioritizing projects as they come in, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand design solutions
The Associate Architectural Designer will report to and work closely with our Sr. Manager of Brand Design and collaborate with the larger Brand Design team, key partners throughout the Marketing team, the Look and Signage Team, and across the organization.

Reporting to the Director, Brand Design Operations & Planning, the Associate Project Manager, Guidelines & Governance will serve as a critical team member responsible for overseeing the development, organization, and distribution of brand governance materials. This position will be instrumental in building project timelines, supporting publication workflows, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Their primary responsibilities will include driving workflows, building schedules, facilitating collaboration, consolidating feedback, and managing quality control. They will lead cross-functional meetings, intake meetings, and workshops where they will manage agendas, guide conversations, and establish next steps, action items, and timelines to be shared in meeting recap emails and project trackers.
This role requires the ability to balance multiple projects in varying stages of development simultaneously, ensuring dependencies and milestones are met across all deliverables.
Given the complexity of the brand, quality control is central to this position. This individual will support Quality Control (QC) efforts, tracking feedback carefully through each round of revisions to ensure all stakeholder requirements and notes have been addressed, using project management and proofing tools to do so.

The Brand, Identity and Look of the Games (BIL) team is responsible for overseeing the development and management of all LA28' visual identity. Our work defines how the Games are seen and remembered—through a variable emblem system, typography, color palette, imagery, patterns, and more—creating a brand experience that is bold, distinctive, and timeless.
The LA28 brand is the first-ever variable Olympic and Paralympic logo and has an ever-expanding inventory of design assets. Along with developing and managing the core identity, the BIL team is responsible for marquee Games design deliverables such as core graphic, pictograms, and torch in addition to internal creative services.
The BIL team is looking for an Associate Brand Designer to support the Guidelines & Governance team. This role is mostly a production artist and partly a layout designer, they will assist in transforming creative concepts into digital and print ready files, and support the creation and distribution of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games brand guidelines and other official documents.
The ideal candidate is a versatile designer/production artist, who can work across mediums with a meticulous eye for detail and final output quality. They should bring a deep understanding of digital standards, color theory, file formats and editorial principles. Beyond craft, they should be highly organized, proactive and collaborative, with excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.
The Associate Brand Design, Guidelines & Governance will report to and work closely with the Manager, Brand Design – Guidelines & Governance and collaborate with the larger BIL team, the Digital Assets Manager, key partners throughout the Marketing team, and across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a true Swiss Army knife, equally comfortable animating emblems and program marks as they are producing sport presentation graphics, broadcast packages, digital and social video content, as well as fulfilling requests from across the organization like animated presentations, event visuals, partner-facing materials, and everything in between. They should bring strong animation chops, thoughtful and purposeful storytelling, and a polished eye for design.
Just as important as the craft: this person needs to be self-directed. We need someone who can manage their own workload, prioritize competing requests as they come in, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, on-brand work.
