About the Position

We are looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist to our growing global Procurement team. In this role, you’ll provide end-to-end sourcing and procurement support for technology services and non-technology services in the APAC region.
 
Additional responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and manage requests, ensuring alignment on key project requirements and expected outcomes
• Developing vendor partnerships through effective communication and ensuring supplier performance aligns with our business goals
• Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase order creation and invoice verification
• Developing and executing RFX processes (RFQs, RFPs, etc.) in the APAC region
• Negotiating and redlining agreements in collaboration with our Legal team
• Demonstrating initiative in resolving discrepancies, following up and closing procurement challenges and issues
• Using creative negotiation strategies and tactics to engage with vendors and formulating contracts that meet our needs while ensuring compliance
• Collaborating with the wider Procurement team to promote best practices 

About You

• Have 5-10 years of related experience, and a deep understanding of RFPs, MSAs and SOWs
• Exceptional communicator; can articulate complex procurement terms and conditions
• An independent worker who is confident and effective, even when direction is limited and scenarios are complex and ambiguous
• Strong negotiator; capable of both working collaboratively and leading project management activities
• Can balance big-picture strategic projects with daily operational tasks, like generating purchase orders
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus

About the Position

We are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist to help our Procurement team provide sourcing and procurement support to several of Jane Street’s other internal teams, including Office Administration, HR, Travel, Recruiting, Creative Engagement, Accounting, and Facilities.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to plan an approach for upcoming needs and renewals, understand key requirements and expected outcomes for each project, develop and lead RFPs, and analyze and level bid responses. Negotiating agreements with suppliers will be a key focus of the role, ensuring that a contract encapsulates all of our requirements in collaboration with our Legal team. 

Once a contract is completed, you will raise purchase orders and oversee any invoicing discrepancies. Throughout this process, you’ll oversee supplier communications and work with stakeholders to build strong supplier relationships.

We’re looking for an independent and organized individual who can jump into the work to make an immediate impact. The right person for this role will have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds. 

About You

• Have 5+ years of related procurement experience, including a deep understanding of RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs
• A proven leader with experience overseeing complex projects
• Excellent written and verbal communicator
• A self-starter who requires minimal supervision
• Resourceful and comfortable navigating through ambiguity
• Strong negotiator, collaborator, and project manager
• Effective at managing large sourcing projects and daily transactional workload
• Experienced with creating POs with P2P systems (e.g., Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Workday)
• Comfortable analyzing and redlining contracts
• Have a desire to understand the big picture as well as the intricate details
• A flexible team player; willing to support other workflows and categories as needed
• Travel category management experience is preferred

About the Position

We’re looking for an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to help manage equipment inventory, delivery, installation and deployment for our offices, data centres and co-locations, and to track assets throughout their lifecycle. 

This role is based in London but covers a range of sites across the European market, and will help align global processes with our Hong Kong office. 

Additional responsibilities of this role will include:

• Developing, implementing and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centres
• Managing the call-off process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment
• Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites
• Working alongside the Procurement team to support the management of inventory levels and identify any stock challenges
• Helping with asset transfers and driving process improvements across logistics and supply chain operations where possible
• Troubleshooting and resolving any logistics-related issues
• Managing customs broking and paperwork arrangements for both the importing and exporting of goods across global markets

About You

• Have 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data centre environments
• Have demonstrable experience improving, streamlining and documenting processes
• Have a proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services
• Understand warehouse operations and inventory management
• An experienced project manager and resource planner
• A strong communicator with great people and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
• Operate with a high sense of urgency
• Have experience in asset transfers management, process improvement and process management (a plus but not required) 
• Fluent in English

• Negotiating and redlining agreements in collaboration with our legal team
• Using creative negotiation strategies and tactics to engage with vendors and formulating contracts that encompass our needs while ensuring compliance and protection of our interests
• Executing full-cycle RFP processes, from development to bid analysis and award
• Efficiently issuing purchase orders and reconciling any invoicing discrepancies

About You

• 5-10 years of related experience, with a deep understanding of RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs
• Exceptional communicator; can articulate complex procurement terms and conditions
• An independent worker who is confident and effective, even when direction is limited
• Can work effectively amidst complex and ambiguous scenarios
• Strong negotiator; capable of both working collaboratively and leading project management activities
• Can manage both strategic projects and operational tasks, like generating purchase orders

• Wants to understand both the macro-level strategies and micro-level details of the procurement process
