You bring deep industry knowledge of the healthcare sector (ideally in software), a clear understanding of competitive products and current trends, and the ability to lead strategic customer planning to optimize returns and generate sustainable long-term revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively present InterSystems HealthShare solutions and the InterSystems IRIS for Health® data platform to all relevant audiences and stakeholders in the DACH healthcare sector (including hospitals, software vendors, health networks, ministries, etc.).
• Identify and develop new customers while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.
• Understand the competitive landscape and the relevance of InterSystems technologies within customers' IT infrastructure or partners' development portfolios.
• Regularly meet with customers and prospects, including the development of strategic account plans.
• Sustain and grow networks with key decision-makers in the industry.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience in software sales is an advantage
• Proven track record of increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and well-known partner accounts in the healthcare sector
• Existing network of decision-makers in healthcare institutions (hospitals, health insurers, health networks) and with industry-specific software vendors
• Background in the software industry, ideally in solution selling involving databases, middleware, data analytics, or interoperability platforms
• A “hunter” profile focused on acquiring new customers through partners, with the ability to maintain customer interest throughout the sales cycle
• Strong communication and presentation skills, plus excellent interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of IoT and machine learning is a plus

Education

• University degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for the German and Swiss Branch in accordance with the Company’s code of practice.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures regarding all finance related matters within the German and Swiss Office.
• Follow up with respective managers on the monthly results providing them with any assistance required in understanding the results.
• To provide information to the Tax advisors so that all compliance issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• To seek to minimise duplication of effort and achieve savings, at no risk to compromising the validity of the information produced

Duties

• Preparation of the monthly profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet.
• Assist management in the review of the results, answering any queries and providing further analysis if required
• Set and monitor cash flow, including reconciling movements in the bank accounts and ensuring that surpluses are dealt with in accordance with InterSystems policies and procedures
• Control all local purchase and nominal ledgers, the wages journal, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for employees in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
• Review of all expense reports ensuring compliance with policy and correct supporting documents are provided as well as correct VAT and other tax related conditions are met.
• Maintain monthly revenue and expense forecasts and annual budgets.
• Prepare such information as is required by the tax advisors.
• Calculate and prepare commission statements for sales staff.
• Monitor the accounts receivable ledger, follow up with customers with overdue debts.
• Review, as appropriate systems and procedures and make recommendations for their improvement to the Financial Controller
• Prepare such spreadsheets, reports and undertake such ad hoc tasks as may be required by the European Financial Controller.

 Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in verbal/written English and German concerning all business issues is a prerequisite. 
• Previous experience with multi-currency systems is preferred. 
• Qualified Bilanzbuchhalter is preferred.

Verantwortlichkeiten

• Führen der Buchhaltung für die deutsche und schweizerische Niederlassung in Übereinstimmung mit dem Code of Practice des Unternehmens.
• Implementierung und Aufrechterhaltung interner Kontrollverfahren in Bezug auf alle finanzbezogenen Angelegenheiten innerhalb der deutschen und schweizerischen Niederlassung.
• Nachverfolgung der monatlichen Ergebnisse mit den jeweiligen Managern.
• Bereitstellung von Informationen für die Steuerberater, damit alle Fragen zur Einhaltung der Vorschriften rechtzeitig geklärt werden können.
• Minimierung von Doppelarbeit und Erzielung von Einsparungen, ohne die Aussagekraft der erstellten Informationen zu beeinträchtigen

Aufgaben

• Die nachstehende Liste der Aufgaben ist ein Anhaltspunkt für die Art der Stelle. Prioritäten, Zeitpläne und Standards werden im Einvernehmen mit dem Head of Finance festgelegt, wobei das Niveau der beruflichen Kompetenz des Stelleninhabers berücksichtigt wird:
• Erstellung der monatlichen Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung und der Bilanz
• Unterstützung des Managements bei der Überprüfung der Ergebnisse, Beantwortung von Fragen und Bereitstellung weiterer Analysen, falls erforderlich
• Festlegen und überwachen des Cashflows, einschließlich des Abgleichs der Bewegungen auf den Bankkonten und Sicherstellung, dass Überschüsse in Übereinstimmung mit den Richtlinien und Verfahren von InterSystems behandelt werden
• Kontrolle aller lokalen Einkaufs- und Nominalbücher, des Lohnjournals und der Bankabstimmungen
• Sicherstellung der korrekten und rechtzeitigen Bearbeitung der monatlichen Gehaltsabrechnung für die Mitarbeiter in Deutschland und der Schweiz
• Überprüfung aller Spesenabrechnungen, um sicherzustellen, dass die Richtlinien eingehalten und korrekte Belege vorgelegt werden, sowie die korrekte Mehrwertsteuer und andere steuerliche Bedingungen erfüllt sind.
• Führen von monatlichen Einnahmen- und Ausgabenprognosen und Jahresbudgets
• Vorbereiten der von den Steuerberatern geforderten Informationen.
• Berechnen und Vorbereiten von Provisionsabrechnungen für das Verkaufspersonal
• Überwachen der Debitorenbuchhaltung, Nachfassen bei Kunden mit überfälligen Forderungen
• Gegebenenfalls Überprüfung von Systemen und Verfahren und Unterbreitung von Verbesserungsvorschlägen an den Head of Finance
• Erstellung von Tabellenkalkulationen und Berichten sowie Übernahme von Ad-hoc-Aufgaben, die vom europäischen Head of Finance angefordert werden können

Qualifikationen

• Die Fähigkeit, sich in Wort und Schrift in Englisch und Deutsch über alle geschäftlichen Belange zu verständigen, ist eine Voraussetzung.
• Frühere Erfahrungen mit Mehrwährungssystemen sind von Vorteil.
• Qualifizierter Bilanzbuchhalter ist von Vorteil.
