About the Role 

iCapital is seeking an experienced Product Management Specialist to take ownership of post-launch fund servicing, life-cycle management and governance activities for the rapidly expanding suite of private markets funds launched or serviced by iCapital for our Asset and Wealth management clients. The International Product Development and Structuring team is a growing group responsible for developing and delivering iCapital’s global fund offering and managing the product launches and lifecycles of private market alternative investment funds.  This newly created role would provide the successful candidate with exposure across the breadth of iCapital’s alternatives business in Europe (primarily covering Luxembourg domiciled AIFs) and would be ideal for candidates who excel in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and are results orientated.   

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for post-launch product management of Lux funds, including Evergreen private markets funds.
• Coordinate the launch of new share classes as well as oversee any other amendments to offering materials, including arranging for any associated regulatory approvals and managing investor consent processes, as applicable.
• Coordinate the production and compliance sign-off of key fund level marketing materials and ensure the timely dissemination of information to all relevant stakeholders (including internal and external distribution channels and data rooms as applicable)
• Respond to due diligence (DD) questionnaires on funds serviced and/or managed by iCapital and oversee fund level RFPs, coordinating across functions for a timely delivery of accurate responses.
• Handle AML/KYC with key service providers pertaining to both upstream and downstream processes relating to the funds serviced/managed by iCapital, including but not limited to:
• coordinating with Administrators on AML letters and resolve gaps in third-party questionnaire responses,
• manage beneficial ownership declarations and related governance documentation, sourcing and providing fund-related documents, including bank account details and wiring instructions, to relevant stakeholders, coordinate with legal/compliance to obtain Lux-certified documents for fund managers.Respond to queries about iCapital’s corporate structure, in coordination with corporate secretary/ legal
• Liaise with the International Tax team to respond to jurisdiction-specific tax queries and arrange for appropriate registrations in offshore jurisdictions.
• Handle ad hoc client requests relating to fund servicing, life cycle management and fund governance.
• Support the administration and governance of recurring fund servicing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Tax, Client Success) and external providers (Administrators, Fund Sponsors, auditors) to deliver seamless fund servicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years of experience in product management, fund servicing, or a related role within alternative investments, asset management, or wealth management.
• Experience with Luxembourg fund structures and evergreen funds preferred.
• Strong understanding of the lifecycle and operational processes of alternative investment funds.
• Structured approach to prioritizing and delivering required tasks and ability to develop scalable processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills – proficiency in English required; other languages a plus.
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and desire to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Associate to focus on Canadian feeder fund origination for hedge funds and private market offerings. This role is within the Client Success department and will report to a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This individual will work with the team who is responsible for new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, and fund lifecycle management.  This role will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle management of various alternative investment vehicles focusing on hedge funds, private equity, and other investment structures. This includes executing processes related to adding new funds to the platform, support of regular meetings and preparing reports, presentations, and fact cards. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures and this candidate will play an important role in helping develop business plans, managing projects and processes for new strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fund marketing materials with the appropriate information, including updates.
• Coordinate with the internal Compliance and Legal teams on review and approvals.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of materials related to new fund approvals and new fund launches.
• Support projects related to onboarding new funds and working across the organization to assure on-time and successful completion.
• Prepare and disseminate project progress notes.
• Input and update fund governance details on a regular basis.
• Assist in various fund launch activities.
• Monitor and manage the team inbox to address and close out GP inquires in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience preferably with fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships
• Experience in alternative investments is a plus
• Positive attitude, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments
• Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Deepen Market Knowledge: Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the targetable market for iCapital in APAC region. Leverage insights from regional industry landscape studies, competitor research, and client/market trends, collaborating closely with internal teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to establish an effective product operational infrastructure and operating model that aligns with our growth aspirations across APAC.
• Scalability Enhancement: Continuously improve governance framework to improve the scalability of the fund launch process originated in APAC markets.
• Global and Asia-Pacific Expansion: As a member of our growing Asia team, collaborate with colleagues to expand iCapital’s offerings. This includes:
• Leading projects for onboarding new funds.
• Contributing to decisions regarding new market entries and additional fund structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in a relevant field
• A minimum of 5-10 years in a private market-focused product development role within asset management, financial services, or legal services
• Prior exposure to fund legal structuring would be an advantage
• Familiarity with the latest product and regulatory developments for private market product development in the major jurisdictions in APAC (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong Japan, Australia, etc.)
• Extensive experience in structuring private fund vehicles applicable to the major APAC market is expected
• Strong understanding of various investment fund structures across a variety of domiciles e.g. Cayman, Luxembourg etc. across multiple asset classes (real estate, infrastructure, credit, private equity and hedge funds)  
• Comprehensive knowledge of the private wealth market in the major jurisdictions in APAC is a significant advantage
• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex structuring considerations into practical fund solutions
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills to navigate complex structuring and commercial challenges
• A positive attitude and a desire to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to be detailed and task-oriented, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing assignments effectively
