ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COORDINATOR

The Environmental Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting Hydrite’s Environmental Services customers through accurate waste profiling, scheduling, invoicing, and coordination with approved waste vendors. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, internal branch personnel, and external treatment and disposal facilities to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Prepare, maintain, and update all hazardous waste profiles for Environmental Services customers.
• Respond to treatment and disposal facility (TDF) requests, including supporting customers with non‑conforming waste shipments, updating profiles, and issuing required recertifications.
• Act as a liaison between Environmental Services customers, branch personnel, and approved waste vendors.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date waste master records, including customer addresses, contacts, and waste profile information.
• Schedule waste pick‑ups, coordinating with production and transportation teams as needed to meet customer requirements and ensure on‑time service.
• Invoice all waste pick‑ups after receiving vendor invoices and billing logs.
• Process vendor invoices and submit completed documentation to Corporate Accounts Payable for payment.
• Review customer records in M3 and the Waste Master systems to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Issue Hydrite approval letters to customers for new waste streams.
• Perform all duties in accordance with applicable SOPs, regulatory requirements, and Hydrite policies.
• Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training as required; must maintain RCRA compliance.
• Work collaboratively with team members to balance workloads and support overall branch success.
• Support effective communication across Hydrite departments where responsibilities overlap.
• Maintain regular attendance, meet assigned deadlines, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Uphold Hydrite’s Customer Service Mission Statement, Pillars, and Standards of Excellence.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and treat customers and coworkers with courtesy and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, business, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn internal systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Customer Experience Representative

The primary purpose of this position is to provide best-in-class experience for Hydrite customers as it relates to order fulfillment from initial order through delivery of product. This role directly interfaces with customers and is responsible for addressing customer needs and issue resolution by partnering with cross functional teams, including sales, transportation, procurement, and operations.   

Primary responsibilities include:

• Provide a high level of customer support primarily via email and phone to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment including order entry, inventory availability, lead-time management, and tracking.
• Administer customer order changes, expedites, tracking and cancellations.
• Utilize independent judgement and problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries and/or discrepancies.
• Manage and monitor ordering patterns based on seasonality and/or past trends while providing order suggestions to sales.
• Field new customer inquiries while elevating and elevating viable prospects.
• Process all incoming inquires promptly and to the highest level of accuracy.
• Drive process efficiency and customer experience continuous improvement efforts.
• Proactively monitor open orders and communicate foreseen delays (late, notification, resolve, backorders, past due).
• Customer inquiry resolution.
• Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.
• Manage assigned accounts and unique customer requirements in accordance with SOPs.
• Aligns cross-functionally with warehouse(s) and operations to confirm product availability.
• All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

• This position reports to the Customer Experience Supervisor.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required. college degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in related role required in lieu of college degree.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail required.
• Possess energy, initiative, enthusiasm, cooperation while exercising good judgment and discretion.
• Teamwork, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding and demonstration of Emotional Intelligence (EI).
• Must be driven, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task effectively with uncompromising dedication to quality.
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM databases preferred, Infor experience a plus.
