Hometap is seeking a process-oriented and technically fluent Senior Product Manager to drive material value to our Underwriting decision-making and Operations teams. Reporting to the Platform Team’s Head of Product, you'll work cross-functionally to ideate, evaluate, and deliver impactful improvements to our Originations processes and the systems that power them. You are a systems thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, who appreciates the human factors in technology and process. 

What you'll do:

• Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Hometap's third-party workflow systems, ensuring they're configured, adopted, and continuously improved
• Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies across underwriting and operations workflows, translating pain points into prioritized product opportunities
• Establish yourself as an internal authority on mortgage tech, fintech, and workflow tooling, staying current on vendors, capabilities, and emerging solutions that could improve underwriting speed and quality
• Collaborate with Investment Operations and Engineering to design and deliver integrations that reduce manual effort and operational cost
• Iterate on staff-facing experiences with an empathetic perspective on the day-to-day jobs our staff performs
• Test and scale each delivery with data analysis, A/B testing, phased rollouts, and user research
• Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, analyze operational performance, and surface actionable insights regularly
• Communicate process improvement recommendations and ROI to key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership
• Advocate for platform-level changes that empower and facilitate testing of new Homeowner experiences

What you bring:

• 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with both B2B and B2C exposure; strong preference for fintech, proptech, or mortgage origination experience
• Hands-on familiarity with mortgage origination systems, workflow automation platforms, or related fintech infrastructure
• A demonstrable history of cost-reducing integrations and process improvements with measurable outcomes
• Passion for intuitive, pragmatic user experiences, especially for internal tooling
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
• Experience integrating AI/ML models and automation into production workflow systems, including prompt engineering, API orchestration, and translating business logic into intelligent decision pipelines

We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead Hometap’s corporate accounting function. This role is part of the Finance department and reports directly to the Controller.

You’re a great fit for this role if you have strong experience leading all aspects of a company’s accounting, financial reporting, and related processes, are highly detail-oriented, and take initiative in identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. The Manager, Corporate Accounting will work closely with the Strategic Finance team in support of planning and budgeting, and will partner regularly with our Fund Accounting and Capital Markets Operations teams to ensure that related party transactions are captured accurately across all entities. Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands are essential to success in this role.

What you’ll do:

• Manage Corporate Accounting Team: Manage and develop one direct report, as well as oversee the work of external accounting consultants, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with Hometap’s standards
• Technical Accounting: Identify and lead resolution of technical accounting issues through independent research or engagement of third parties, in consultation with the Controller – areas of focus include, but are not limited to, ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), ASC 350-40 (Internal Use Software), ASC 810 (Consolidations), and ASC 860 (Transfers and Servicing)
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and continuously monitor the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, counterparty agreements, and safeguard company assets – champion a culture of control-consciousness and accounting best practices across the organization
• Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• General Accounting: Oversee all accounting, including receivables and payables, related to the corporate accounting function
• Accounting Best Practices: Set and enforce accounting standards and best practices across corporate accounting; drive consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in all accounting processes and procedures
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity
• Audit Support: Lead the corporate accounting audit process and independently resolve the majority of open items, escalating to the Controller as appropriate
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the broader finance team, senior management, and cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions

Who you are:

Search is our highest-intent, highest-volume customer acquisition channel, and we’re looking for the person to take it to its next level. As Senior Manager, Search Marketing, you’ll own Hometap’s paid search program end-to-end across Google and Bing, managing a program in the $10–30M range with a clear mandate to scale efficiently and responsibly.

You are a hands-on paid search expert who thrives on ownership — you’re in the platforms, you drive the strategy, and you hold yourself personally accountable for performance. You combine deep technical fluency with strong analytical instincts, and you know how to turn data into decisions that improve CPL, conversion rate, and business outcomes.

Hometap is in many ways still a category-building exercise — most homeowners don’t know a home equity investment exists yet, and search is a key part of how we introduce the concept and create demand. You’ll need to think simultaneously like a performance marketer (efficiency, measurement, scale) and a category architect (how do we capture and create demand for something consumers are still learning about?).

What you'll do:

• Own day-to-day strategy and execution across paid search programs on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, from campaign architecture to bidding logic to ad copy strategy
• Manage a $10–30M annual search budget with full accountability for CPL, conversion rate, and contribution to capital deployment targets
• Build and maintain keyword architecture, match type strategy, ad group structure, and negative keyword management
• Write and test ad copy in collaboration with creative; own the ongoing A/B testing and optimization cadence
• Scale the program intelligently: find efficiency where others haven’t looked, and build a case for incremental investment when the data supports it

• Manage and hold accountable agency partners and platform relationships (Google, Microsoft, and key SEM tooling vendors), setting clear expectations and measuring against them

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of hands-on paid search experience, including at least 3 years managing programs of $5M+ in annual spend — ideally with experience scaling a program toward the $10–30M range
• A demonstrated track record of scaling a paid search program (ideally during a build phase), including the ability to identify and capture new pockets of growth
• Deep hands-on expertise across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising: campaign structure, Smart Bidding, SA360 (or equivalent), Performance Max, audience signal layering, and ad copy testing
• Deep experience working with lagged or downfunnel conversion data: long consideration cycles, offline conversion events, multi-touch attribution, or any environment where the click-to-close journey is complex and the feedback loop is slow
• Experience in categories where consumer education is part of the search challenge — products or services where you’re meeting searchers mid-consideration, not just capturing bottom-of-funnel demand
• A data-first mindset paired with the judgment to act under uncertainty; you build your own measurement frameworks, pressure-test assumptions, pull your own data, and know the difference between signal and noise
• Strong cross-functional communication: equally comfortable presenting channel strategy to senior leadership and digging into query-level data with an analyst

Our Call Center Servicing Specialists ensure that our invested Homeowners have the best-in-class customer experience. Responding to incoming calls and emails, you will execute each interaction with timeliness, expert accuracy, and professionalism. 

What you’ll do:

• Field calls from Homeowners and third parties looking for assistance, responding to questions with confidence, empathy, accuracy, and professionalism. 
• Respond in a timely manner to incoming emails from Homeowners, third parties, and internal departments.
• Create and explain settlement statements.
• Utilize our system of record to locate pertinent information to assist our Homeowners, and update our system of record with detail and accuracy.
• Learn how to read Hometap’s investment and insurance documents, and be able to explain them to Homeowners.
• Review subordination requests for approval or denial.
• Follow all company, investor, and legal guidelines.

• 1-2 years of experience with mortgage servicing call centers.

Lead new product discovery and validation

• Own the full discovery process across multiple new product hypotheses, including use cases, market sizing, customer interviews, competitive analysis, and regulatory feasibility
• Design and run structured concept validation: prototype-based user testing, partner with Business Development for channel partner conversations, and user research for rapid user concept feedback
• Partner with finance on new product strategy to develop hypotheses for new financial products to validate with homeowners

Define and build toward launch

• Translate validated insights into a product definition, GTM strategy, and phased launch plan
• Partner with a lean team to build and test early versions – knowing when to prototype vs. when to ship real code
• Define business cases, go/no-go criteria, success metrics, and instrument the feedback loops needed to iterate quickly post-launch

Shape Hometap's new product strategy

• Work directly with the CPO, COO, and broader leadership team to frame the new product portfolio, prioritize bets, and make the case for resource investment
• Identify the regulatory questions that need early answers, and work with legal and compliance to get them
• Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership on a regular cadence

What you bring:

• 10+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent on 0-to-1 or new product bets, not just roadmap execution on established products. The ideal candidate would bring experience in consumer fintech, financial services, or a regulated industry where compliance and customer trust are core product constraints.
• Track record of leading structured discovery that resulted in a go / no-go recommendation that held up – you know what good validation looks like and you've done it
• Demonstrated experience using AI as a force multiplier (for research synthesis, prototype iteration, user interview analysis, competitive intelligence, etc.) 
• You move fast without cutting corners on insight quality – you know the difference between a validated hypothesis and a confirmed bias.
