HeyGen is building the future of AI-powered video, and enterprise is a major part of that story. As we scale our B2B motion, in-person events are one of our most powerful channels for building relationships, generating pipelines, and putting HeyGen in front of the right people at the right time.

We're looking for a field marketer who knows how to make events count. You'll own the full spectrum, from major trade shows and industry conferences to intimate executive dinners and co-marketing activations with partners. This is a high-ownership IC role where logistics excellence and strategic thinking go hand in hand.

This role is based in the San Francisco office.  

Core Responsibilities

• Build and manage HeyGen's B2B events calendar, including trade shows, conferences, owned events, executive dinners, roundtables, and partner activations
• Lead end-to-end event execution, from vendor selection and contract negotiation through on-site management and post-event follow-up
• Develop event strategy for each activation, including goals, target audience, messaging, and how it connects to pipeline and revenue
• Partner with sales to align on target accounts, ensure strong pre-event outreach, and drive meaningful meeting volume at events
• Design and produce owned experiences, including executive dinners and roundtables, that create genuine value for attendees and reflect the HeyGen brand
• Identify and evaluate co-marketing and sponsorship opportunities with partners to extend reach and share costs
• Manage event budgets with precision, tracking spend against outcomes and making smart tradeoffs
• Own post-event reporting, including pipeline influenced, leads generated, meetings held, and qualitative feedback
• Work cross-functionally with our creative studio, product marketing, and GTM team to develop event materials, booth experiences, and leave-behinds

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of field marketing or events experience, with a strong focus on B2B
• Proven track record of executing events that generate measurable pipeline, not just attendance
• Experience owning the full event lifecycle independently, from planning through post-event analysis
• Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple events simultaneously without dropping details
• Excellent vendor and venue negotiation skills
• Comfort working closely with sales teams and understanding how events fit into the broader revenue motion
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills, especially for executive-facing formats like dinners and roundtables
• Willingness to travel regularly for on-site event execution

Compensation

The Role

We're looking for a Head of Developer Experience to make HeyGen the default video and avatar layer for AI agents and developer workflows — and to own how developers discover, evaluate, adopt, and build on our platform.

The AI agent ecosystem is growing fast, projected to reach $120B+ by 2032. Every company building agentic AI that needs a human-facing interface will need video generation, voice, and real-time interactive avatars. HeyGen already has the foundation — a V3 API, CLI, MCP server, and Skills for AI coding agents — plus first-mover advantage in avatar quality. What we need is someone who can take that foundation and turn it into the developer platform builders reach for first: through narrative and community, but also through direct ownership of the product surface developers actually touch.

This is a senior leadership role with significant scope across both product and go-to-market. You'll be the founding leader of HeyGen's developer experience function, starting as a solo operator powered by AI tools and agent workflows, with the opportunity to build a team across both sides as the function scales.

What You'll Do

Developer Positioning & Story

• Define and own HeyGen's positioning for the AI builder and developer audience: software developers, AI/ML engineers, and technical founders building products that incorporate video, voice, and avatar capabilities.
• Craft the narrative that HeyGen is essential infrastructure for AI agents that communicate with humans — not just a video creation tool.
• Translate the full developer platform (V3 API, CLI, MCP, Skills) and core models (Video Agent, Avatar IV, Video Translation, Lipsync) into developer-native messaging that resonates in technical communities.

Developer Community & Ecosystem

• Build HeyGen's presence where developers live: GitHub, Hacker News, X, Discord, ProductHunt, and AI framework communities.
• Develop relationships with AI agent and developer tool ecosystems (OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, Google ADK, OpenClaw, Cursor, Claude Code) to drive integration partnerships and ensure HeyGen is a first-class plugin across platforms.
• Get HeyGen front and center at hackathons, AI builder meetups, developer conferences, and other events where the target audience gathers. Sponsor, speak, judge, and build demo experiences that make HeyGen the tool people reach for.
• Create and curate "build with HeyGen" content: tutorials, sample apps, integration guides, and technical blog posts.
• Launch developer programs that drive API adoption and create evangelists.

Drive Developer Adoption

• Own the developer adoption motion end-to-end, from awareness through activation and expansion.
• Plan and execute launches targeting the developer audience, including new API capabilities, CLI updates, MCP and Skills integrations, and partner announcements.
• Drive adoption across all three integration paths: MCP for AI assistants (Claude, OpenClaw, Cursor), Skills for AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor), and Direct API/CLI for full programmatic control and CI/CD pipelines.

Own the Developer Product Surface

• Own the developer experience as a product. You'll have meaningful influence over the roadmap and direct accountability for how the platform feels to developers — from first API call to production deployment.
• Drive the strategy and quality bar for the surfaces developers touch: documentation, SDKs, code samples, onboarding flows, sandbox environments, error messages, CLI ergonomics, and pricing models.
• Identify gaps in the developer surface and ship solutions — sometimes by pushing roadmap with engineering, sometimes by building or commissioning the work directly (sample apps, starter templates, integration libraries, reference architectures).
• Be the loudest internal voice for what developers need. Translate community signals, support tickets, and integration friction into a prioritized roadmap that engineering builds against.

AI Agent Infrastructure Positioning

• Lead the effort to position HeyGen as the default video, voice, and avatar layer for AI agents — the infrastructure that gives agents a face.
• Identify and amplify early adopter stories of developers building agent-powered video workflows and interactive avatar experiences on HeyGen.
• Develop the category narrative around AI agents that can see, speak, and present — powered by HeyGen.

Measurement & Growth

• Define and track developer experience metrics across both adoption and quality: API signups, time-to-first-call, developer activation, integration volume, retention, community growth, and developer-sourced pipeline.
• Build feedback loops between developer community signals and product/engineering strategy.

What We're Looking For

• 7–10 years of experience spanning some combination of developer experience, developer marketing, developer relations, technical product management, or technical product marketing — with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Track record of driving developer adoption for an API-first or platform product. Ideally in AI, ML, or infrastructure.
• Deep familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem, agentic AI landscape, and how developers evaluate and adopt developer tools.
• Strong technical fluency. You can read API docs, understand SDKs and CLIs, write working code when you need to, and credibly engage with engineers as a peer.
• Experience building developer communities from early stage, not just scaling existing ones.
• Excellent content instincts. You know what gets developers' attention and what gets ignored.

Closing the gap between what our APIs can do and what each enterprise needs them to do is the job.

We're hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineers to own that gap.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer on Strategic Accounts, you'll embed with our most technically complex enterprise customers and ship production AI video systems alongside their engineering teams. You'll own the last mile of delivery: discovery, technical scoping, architecture, build, rollout, and the eval-driven feedback loop back into HeyGen's product and model roadmap.

You'll operate autonomously, partner directly with customer engineering leaders and VPs, and represent HeyGen at the technical frontier. Typical questions you'll help answer look like:

• "How do we let 40,000 customer service reps generate branded training videos in twelve languages without going through our marketing team?"
• "How do we embed a live avatar into our product onboarding flow so every new user gets a conversational walkthrough in under 20 milliseconds of latency?"
• "How do we make HeyGen safe to deploy across a regulated pharma's field medical team with full avatar consent, audit logging, and subprocessor controls?"

You'll work side by side with our Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams. Your field insights will directly influence what HeyGen ships next.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end enterprise deployments. Lead technical discovery, architecture, and production rollout for our most complex strategic accounts. Integrate HeyGen cleanly into customer CRM, LMS, HR, and marketing stacks.
• Build on the HeyGen API and LiveAvatar. Ship real-time conversational agents, session-based lifecycles, and WebRTC integrations inside client applications. Produce reusable reference implementations, SDK wrappers, webhook integrations, and eval harnesses that later get pulled back into the platform.
• Run the hard escalations. Act as the senior technical owner on production-blocking issues. Advocate for the customers’ technical needs on streaming, latency, and integration failures, and coordinate cross-functional fixes with engineering.
• Close the product feedback loop. Translate messy real-world requirements into structured product input. Identify patterns across custom builds that should be generalized into the platform, and partner with core engineering to productize them.
• Be a trusted technical voice for customers. Explain model behavior, performance trade-offs, and roadmap to non-technical executives and to customer engineering teams in equal measure.

What success looks like

In your first year, we'll measure your impact on time to production for strategic accounts, expansion revenue driven by the accounts you own, the number of reusable patterns you contribute back to the platform, and the quality of the eval and feedback signal you send into our product organization.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture, or a similar builder role. You're comfortable shipping production-grade code in Python and JavaScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs or other generative AI systems in production, including familiarity with prompt engineering, agent development, and evaluation frameworks. You understand how model behavior affects product experience.
• Working knowledge of API design, webhooks, and cloud infrastructure.
• The ability to move fluidly between a customer engineering standup and a VP-level business conversation, and to explain technical trade-offs to both audiences without losing either.
• High agency under ambiguity. You're energized by building a function that doesn't exist yet rather than joining one that does.

• WebRTC, real-time media, or low-latency streaming experience.

About the Role

HeyGen is building a modern, AI-native revenue motion where product usage and customer behavior inform how and when sales engages. We are looking for a Revenue Strategy & Systems Lead to take ownership of how revenue moves through HeyGen. This role focuses on building and maintaining the systems that power how we capture demand, qualify interest, and route high-value leads using inbound and product-driven signals.

This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and sales. You will be responsible for how revenue signals are defined, operationalized, and surfaced across the business, with a focus on inbound intake, qualification, and routing. We’re looking for someone fluent in modern GTM tooling, comfortable with system design, and willing to challenge existing patterns to build something better.

Qualifications:

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer, Dev Productivity, you’ll work at the intersection of software development, automation, and infrastructure. Your mission is to streamline engineering workflows, optimize CI/CD systems, build and testing infrastructure, and enhance developer tooling to accelerate software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines to improve development speed and reliability.
• Develop internal tools and automation to reduce friction in engineering workflows.
• Optimize build and test infrastructure for faster feedback loops.
• Work closely with engineering teams to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in the development process.
• Enhance and monitor developer environments to improve developer experience
• Advocate for best practices in software development, version control, and release management.
• Drive the adoption of automation and tooling that increase engineering efficiency.

Key Qualifications

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Buildkite, or CircleCI.
• Experience with build systems (e.g., Bazel, CMake, Make, Gradle).
• Experience with python dependency management (e.g. poetry, uv)
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes for scalable builds and testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving developer experience.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.

$180,000 – 240,000 annually
