Heritage is a modern global investment office built by a collective of respected families and entrepreneurs with over a century of business-building experience. We provide privileged access to top-performing alternative assets, superior portfolio construction, and a technology-enabled open-architecture platform connecting clients to some of the world’s most exclusive opportunities.
We believe in mastery. Our investment team brings direct experience from leading institutional hedge fund platforms, asset managers, and allocators, supported by rigorous research frameworks and disciplined portfolio construction.
We believe in alignment. We invest alongside our clients with real skin in the game, applying the same standards and governance used for the founding families.
We believe in technology. Our advanced digital platform centralizes, analyses, and benchmarks portfolios across managers, strategies, and asset classes, enabling better decision-making and risk management at scale.
As a Hedge Fund Research, you will lead manager research, selection, and ongoing oversight across offshore and UCITS hedge fund strategies, supporting institutional-quality hedge fund allocations for UHNW clients.
The role is research- and governance-led, not discretionary portfolio management, and includes meaningful interaction with clients and advisors. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and the Investment Committee, while also helping advisors and clients understand portfolio positioning, manager roles, and risk characteristics.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting hedge fund managers across core strategies
Owning the hedge fund due diligence and conviction framework (buy, watch, avoid)
Leading ongoing manager monitoring and recommending adds, trims, or exits
Advising on fund terms, fees, liquidity, and capacity constraints
Preparing and presenting materials to the Investment Committee
Supporting client- and advisor-facing discussions, including portfolio updates, manager positioning, and strategy education
Building and maintaining senior relationships with hedge fund managers and key counterparties
This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, the Investment Committee, global hedge fund managers, and UHNW clients.
5–8 years of experience in hedge fund research and allocation, ideally within an institutional allocator, asset manager, family office, or fund of funds
Offshore hedge fund experience is essential; UCITS experience is strongly preferred
Broad understanding across hedge fund strategies, with a strong ability to distinguish true alpha from disguised beta
Proven track record in manager sourcing, not just monitoring, supported by a credible global network across managers, prime brokers, capital introduction, and the allocator community
Strong analytical skills and experience working with risk, performance, and portfolio analytics
Proven ability to draft high-quality investment papers and present under Investment Committee scrutiny
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
High judgement, independent thinker, and comfortable recommending “no” when appropriate
Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with responsibility and accountability
Prior experience working with UCITS hedge fund platforms
Exposure to UHNW client portfolios or multi-family office environments
Familiarity with hedge fund analytics and reporting tools
Work alongside top-tier professionals from leading institutional investment platforms and global family offices
Direct exposure to top-tier and emerging hedge fund managers globally
A high-performance, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture
Real responsibility and ownership from day one
Opportunity to help shape hedge fund research, governance, and allocation frameworks within a growing, tech-enabled platform
Quarterly team offsites
Clear growth paths and increasing responsibility as the platform scales
At Heritage, we are proud to have a diverse team representing over 15 nationalities, with all communication conducted in English. We are deeply committed to providing equal opportunities and work actively to remove potential biases in our hiring process by involving a Hiring Committee in all decision-making.

We are building something exceptional at Heritage, and we need someone extraordinary to help us get there. This isn't your typical strategy role. It is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with our Head of Strategy & Growth and Founders on the most important initiatives shaping our next chapter.
As our Senior Strategy Associate, you will sit at the centre of how we grow, evolve, and scale. You will help us enter new markets, refine our product offering, build the internal engine behind our wealth management platform, and unlock opportunities we have not yet imagined. This is a role where no two days look the same, where your work truly moves the business.
Right now, we are expanding into new geographies, refining our commercial strategy, building new business lines, and strengthening how the organisation operates end-to-end. You will own core workstreams that directly influence these priorities.
In practice, this means working on:
Market mapping, competitive intelligence, and opportunity sizing across new and existing regions
Developing commercial strategies, business models, and go-to-market structures
Supporting the development of strategic partnerships and external collaborations
Building internal processes, workflows, and operational infrastructure to scale our platform
Driving cross-functional initiatives across Investments, Operations, and Technology
Supporting evaluation and due-diligence efforts for new offerings and initiatives
This is not a research role. You will shape recommendations, align senior stakeholders, and then work with teams to make the strategy real.
We’re looking for someone sharp, fast-learning, and hungry for responsibility. Someone who wants to build, execute, and own outcomes.
Maybe you’re coming from a top-tier consultancy where you’ve delivered strong impact but want to be closer to the action. Or perhaps you’re coming from a high-growth startup, a VC-backed scale-up, fintech, strategic operations, or private equity, where you’ve developed strong analytical, financial, and commercial skills and are now looking for a role with broader operational and strategic ownership.
The ideal candidate has:
4 to 6 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity, business operations, growth, or strategic roles in high-velocity environments
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive clarity
Strong business judgement and the maturity to partner with senior leadership
A bias toward action and ownership, comfortable taking projects from concept to execution
Curiosity, ambition, and the drive to build something meaningful rather than follow a predefined path
You’ll be in the room where decisions are made, shaping how Heritage expands, innovates, and serves families and entrepreneurs globally.
You will:
Gain rare exposure across wealth management, technology, commercial strategy, and international expansion
Work directly with our Head of Strategy & Growth, Founders, and leadership team on initiatives that influence the entire organisation
Build a strategic and operational toolkit that is deeply valuable, highly portable, and difficult to acquire anywhere else this early in your career
See the tangible impact of your work as new business lines launch, teams grow, and our platform scales
This role is not about climbing a traditional corporate ladder. It is about building the ladder with us.
We’ll begin with an initial conversation with our HR-team to understand your experience, motivations, and career goals. We’ll focus on:
How you approach strategic and analytical challenges
The types of projects you’ve owned and how you drive impact
What motivates you, and how this opportunity aligns with your ambitions
From there, we move quickly. Great talent doesn’t stay on the market long.
