Your role as Investment Lab Associate

As the first hire into our newly formed Investment Portfolio Lab, a central team that sits at the intersection of investment thinking, strategic communication, and business development execution, you will own the end-to-end process of producing investment analysis and client-facing materials (deep portfolio analysis and clear optimization proposals) that support Heritage's business development across all group jurisdictions.

You will act as the connective tissue between Portfolio Management, Strategy, and Client-facing teams, ensuring every pitch, presentation, and portfolio review reflects the quality our clients expect.

Core Responsabilities Include

• Client materials & storytelling: Own the production of high-quality presentation decks, translating complex investment analysis into clear, compelling narratives for UHNWI prospects and existing clients.
• Project management & coordination: Act as project manager for each pitch or portfolio review, defining timelines, aligning stakeholders, managing inputs, and ensuring delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Portfolio analysis & optimisation: under the guidance of portfolio managers, lead analysis of existing and prospective client portfolios across asset classes, custodians, and jurisdictions. Develop allocation optimisation proposals and build a rigorous, repeatable analytical framework.
• Team building: As Lab founder, contribute to defining the operating model, processes, and culture and over time help identify, onboard, and mentor junior members.

Key Requirements

• Outstanding academic background Master's in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline; CFA Level I or above is a strong plus, CAIA is highly valued
• 5–10 years of experience in MBB/Tier 2 strategy consulting (with a financial services focus), investment banking (Coverage/M&A), or private banking/wealth management
• Demonstrable track record of producing highly customised PowerPoint documents, pitch books, portfolio reviews, investment proposals, to a high standard of both analytical rigour and visual storytelling
• Proven ability to analyse multi-asset portfolios including alternative and illiquid asset classes (private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds)
• Advanced PowerPoint and strong Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg or equivalent is a plus
• Exceptional storytelling ability: turning complex portfolio analysis into simple, compelling narratives that sophisticated clients can act on
• Strong project management under pressure: running multiple workstreams, managing upward and laterally, delivering on time without sacrificing quality
• High autonomy and ownership mindset someone who sets their own agenda and executes without being managed
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a hands-on attitude

Your role 

We are looking for a Reporting Intern to join our team. The Reporting Intern supports wealth-reporting activities by manually loading transactions and valuations, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation. The role collaborates with the Tech Team during data-integration phases with Addepar and contributes to building basic formulas and attributes.

Core responsibilities include:

• Manual loading of transactions and valuations into Addepar, ensuring data accuracy and consistency with financial documentation
• Support reconciliation activities, including verification and balancing of uploaded data
• Collaborate with the Tech Team during the integration process between banks and Addepar (often lengthy, especially with banks not yet integrated)
• Enter historical transactions prior to a new client’s connection and monitor/adjust online-bank transactions even in an integrated setup
• Support the creation of basic formulas and attributes in Addepar (no programming required)

Key Requirements 

• Outstanding academic background with a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines
• Previous experience in a fintech/technology-based environment or multi-family office, private bank, asset manager, or fund administrator is a plus
• Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring new technologies
• Tools specific to wealth management reporting is considered a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a hands-on attitude
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail

• Preferably, experience in consulting firms (KPMG, PwC, etc.) in Asset Management, wealth management, family office or fund audits
• Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring new technologies
• Tools specific to wealth management reporting is considered a plus

Your role as Business Analyst/Associate

We are looking for a Business Analyst/Associate (depending on seniority) to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting the start-up of our Paris office, a new and growing hub within our global organization.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving and implementing the integration of the Paris office with our central Technology, Operations, and Investing teams, currently based across Milan and London.

The role will directly contribute and have an impact to the launch of the new office, working in close collaboration with international teams and playing a central role in establishing efficient processes, data flows, and cross-office collaboration.

Core responsibilities include:

Client and Portfolio Reporting

• Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly consolidated reports for client portfolios, including performance, allocation, and risk analysis
• Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources (custodians, fund administrators, life insurance platforms, internal systems)
• Contribute to the development, improvement and enhancement of automated reporting tools, automation initiatives and dashboards in collaboration with the Tech team
• Contribute to the collection and preparation of data for monthly and quarterly consolidated family reports

Portfolio Operations and Reconciliation

• Perform daily trade and position reconciliations and weekly NAV reconciliations for internally managed funds
• Support portfolio risk and performance reporting processes
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks with custodian banks and administrators

 Coordination and Support

• Support the Investment team in portfolio monitoring, trade execution follow-up, and ad-hoc data analysis.
• Liaise with different stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information exchange (custodian banks, life insurance companies, and fund administrators, etc.)
• Assist with subscription and redemption requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication with all relevant parties
• Maintain and update client profiles, including KYC, AML, and suitability documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Key Requirements 

• Outstanding academic background with master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years of experience in a FinTech/technology-based environment or multi-family office, private bank, asset manager, fund administrator
• Knowledge of financial instruments and investment operations acquired through academic studies
• Experience with portfolio management or fund accounting systems is a plus
• Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring new technologies
• Tools specific to wealth management reporting is considered a plus
• Familiarity with data automation tools (VBA, Power BI, or Python) is considered as a plus
• Strong Excel skills
