About the Role

We’re hiring an Installation Services Manager – Mexico to own end-to-end installation outcomes across a hybrid delivery model: internal installers and third-party installation partners. This role will evolve the operating model, establish a performance system, and drive cross-functional execution so customers receive predictable, high-quality deployments at scale.

You’ll work closely with Implementation, Support, Product, Engineering, Finance, and external partners to improve on-time completion, first-time-right quality, and cost-to-serve—while ensuring all installer channels operate to one consistent standard.

What You’ll Do

Own Installation Performance End-to-End

• Define and evolve Mexico’s installation operating model, including service tiers, SLAs, coverage strategy, and decision rules for internal installers vs. partners.
  
  
• Build capacity and demand plans (forecasting, regional coverage, surge planning).
  
  
• Establish and uphold a single set of standards for quality, documentation, and customer experience across all installer channels.
  
  

Drive Execution

• Lead Mexico’s installation intake and prioritization cadence with key stakeholders to ensure the right work is matched to the right resources.
  
  
• Coordinate readiness across Sales, Implementation, Support, Product, and installers to reduce delays, missed appointments, and rework.
  
  
• Partner with Sales and key stakeholders on complex rollouts to align milestones, dependencies, and customer outcomes.
  
  

Build the Quality Improvement Loop

• Own quality enforcement across Mexico: job sheet accuracy, documentation compliance, photo standards, verification processes, and post-install defect reduction.
  
  
• Identify root causes (process gaps, training needs, SOP clarity, tooling issues, hardware readiness) and drive durable cross-functional fixes.
  
  
• Maintain and continuously improve SOPs, checklists, and enablement resources to keep installers and partners current on products and standards.
  
  

Manage and Scale the Installation Partner Portfolio

• Manage day-to-day relationships with installation partners supporting Mexico (overflow coverage, geographic gaps, specialized work).
  
  
• Lead partner onboarding, enablement, and certification to company standards.
  
  
• Drive partner performance through scorecards, corrective action plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  
  

Own Escalations and Incident Management

• Lead escalations across quality, scheduling, documentation, and customer experience - regardless of delivery channel.
  
  
• Coordinate triage and cross-functional communication to ensure timely customer updates and prevention actions.
  
  
• Track trends and drive systemic improvements to reduce repeat issues.
  
  

Build Operating Cadence, Reporting, and Cost Visibility

• Define and manage key performance dashboards (on-time completion, first-time-right, rework, cancellations, documentation compliance, escalation aging).
  
  
• Run a consistent operating rhythm (weekly reviews, monthly deep dives, QBR inputs) with clear actions and accountability.
  
  
• Partner with Install Partner Operations and Finance to improve PO/invoice hygiene, cost controls, and payment accuracy.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in operations, field services, program management, partner/marketplace operations, or customer operations in an environment with fulfillment/dispatch and cross-functional dependencies.
  
  
• Experience designing and running operational mechanisms: forecasting, capacity planning, SLAs, KPI systems, and operating cadences (WBR/QBR).
  
  
• Experience managing third-party partners or service providers, including onboarding, enablement, performance management, and escalation handling.
  
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills—able to drive outcomes across teams without direct authority.

About the Role: 

As an Install Coordinator at Motive, you will be a crucial link between our internal teams and external partners, ensuring the smooth execution of hardware installations for our customers. This role is heavily administrative, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing installation assignments, managing documentation, and maintaining communication with all stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. Your ability to work during US business hours will be key in facilitating seamless collaboration across time zones.

What You’ll Do: 

• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales and Solutions Consultants to understand customer requirements and ensure that installation plans align with the scope of work outlined in pre-sales agreements. Assist in the preparation of installation quotes and timelines, providing input on resource allocation and scheduling feasibility.
• Record Management: Ensure all pre-sales documentation, such as vehicle lists, is complete and accurate. Issue and maintain key documents like statements of work and project plans, providing install partners with the necessary resources and information for successful installations.
• Installation Coordination: Assess the scope of work to select the most suitable subcontractor(s) for the job. Serve as their main point of contact during the initial booking, providing all necessary records and answering any scoping questions to ensure successful job acceptance and completion in the field.
• Client Communication: Participate in customer calls to provide high-level information about the assignment of install partners and the initial project plan. Act as a liaison to ensure Sales, Solution Consultants, and clients are well-informed and confident before the Implementation Project Manager takes over.
• Project Transition: Prepare and provide the Implementation Project Manager with comprehensive information on the customer, including key documentation, and any relevant insights. Ensure a smooth transition by sharing all necessary details to facilitate effective project management and successful implementation.

What We’re Looking For: 

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, logistics, or a similar administrative role. Experience with hardware installations, trucking, logistics, or fleet management sectors is strongly preferred. 
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to track and manage complex schedules is essential.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to both internal and external stakeholders. Experience in coordinating across different time zones is an advantage.
• Technical Acumen: A basic understanding of telematics, hardware installation, and software deployment. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

• Education: A BA/BS degree in a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

About the role

As an Implementation Consultant in the UK, you will be the primary owner of the customer’s journey from contract signature through go‑live. You’ll guide fleets of all sizes – from commercial to mid‑market and enterprise, including complex multi‑site operations – through Motive’s implementation methodology, ensuring they get from rollout to results, not just “installed and done”. This is a start-up environment and this person is expected to lean-in to that methodology to help us scale and deliver excellent results in region.

You’ll combine project management, technical problem‑solving, and change management to:

• Plan and run end‑to‑end implementations (hardware + software) for UK fleets, with potential expansion to EU accounts over time.
• Translate business goals (safety, compliance, efficiency, cost reduction) into a clear implementation plan.
• Coordinate across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Field/Installations, Education, Support, and Customer Success to deliver a consistent, high‑quality experience.

Success in this role is measured by on‑time go‑lives, activation and adoption KPIs, implementation CSAT, and the quality of handoff to post‑implementation teams.

This is a foundational post‑sales role for the UK market, with high visibility and the opportunity to help shape how we implement in the region.

What you’ll do

Own the implementation lifecycle

• Lead new‑customer onboarding from sales handoff through go‑live and formal handover to Customer Success/Account Management.
• Run structured kickoff sessions: align stakeholders, confirm “why Motive”, define scope, timelines, and measures of success.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans covering installations, platform configuration, safety/coaching setup, training, and integrations.
• Track progress against milestones and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across fleets of varying sizes and complexity.
• Track and report implementation KPIs (milestone completion, activation, user engagement, CSAT) and maintain clear project artefacts for handoff to post‑implementation teams.

Drive technical setup & deployment

• Configure Motive’s platform to align with customer requirements (groups, roles & permissions, alerts, safety settings, workflows, reports, integrations, etc.).
• Partner closely with Field Engineering / Installations to ensure hardware is deployed correctly across diverse vehicle types (HGVs, LCVs, mixed fleets) and job sites.
• Coordinate data preparation and imports (drivers, vehicles, assets, hierarchies) to ensure a clean, scalable foundation.
• Support basic troubleshooting and triage during rollout, escalating to technical specialists where needed while maintaining a single, clear customer contact.

Lead customer change management & adoption

• Work with Safety, Operations, IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders to design communication, training, and rollout plans that drive buy‑in from leadership, managers, and drivers.
• Collaborate with Education Consultants and Customer Success to ensure the right training is delivered to the right audiences at the right time.
• Monitor adoption and early outcomes (installs completed, active devices, usage, early safety indicators, CSAT) and recommend adjustments to keep the programme on track.

Collaborate & improve how we implement in the UK/EU

• Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering during late‑stage deals to validate implementation assumptions and set realistic timelines.
• Provide structured feedback into Product, Operations, and Field/Installation teams on UK/EU‑specific needs (hardware, workflows, regulatory nuances).
• Help refine and localise playbooks, templates, trackers, and customer‑facing documentation for the UK & EU market.
• Contribute to internal enablement by sharing lessons learned, patterns, and best practices across the Implementation organisation.

What we’re looking for

Required

• 4+ years’ experience in implementation, professional services, consulting, customer success, or project management for B2B technology (SaaS, hardware, or similar).
• Demonstrated success running end‑to‑end customer projects, ideally across multiple stakeholders and sites.
• Strong organisational skills with experience using project tools (e.g. Google Workspace, project trackers, CRMs such as Salesforce).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel across the UK to customer sites (depot/yard visits, workshops, go‑live support) as needed at least 40% of the time and potentially into the EU as we expand.

Preferred

• Experience in fleet, telematics, logistics, transportation, construction, or other physical operations environments.
• Familiarity with implementing systems that include both hardware and cloud software (e.g. IoT, telematics, safety cameras, vehicle gateways).
• Exposure to UK/EU data privacy and compliance considerations (e.g. GDPR) in a customer context.
• Experience working with customers across multiple European markets and/or languages. German/Dutch professional fluency is an added bonus.

About the Role:

An expert at initiating, controlling, and delivering successful deployment projects of Motive hardware and software with our highest value customers. In this role, you will create and own the onboarding project along with its metrics for success, including but not limited to Customer Kick Off, Go Live, and CSAT. The Implementation Consultant is a highly skilled project manager and a Motive product expert who uses these skills to guide clients through complex and large onboarding projects while coordinating these efforts with the rest of the Enterprise account team to drive initial adoption as well as to continually train and onboard the customer as they increase the partnership relationship with Motive.
