This is Riza, the HR Manager at Fresh Prints.
If you had asked me five years ago whether I’d be leading recruitment, running cross-functional projects, managing a team of talented HR Associates, building automations (despite coming from a non-tech background), spearheading QA, and writing OKRs – all things that were completely alien to me at the time, I would’ve laughed and probably rolled my eyes.
I joined Fresh Prints during COVID as a fresh graduate, as part of a newly formed HR team, viewing it as a stepping stone before heading to business school. That plan took a sharp U-turn when I was given opportunities to do far more than just “screen resumes” – to think critically about hiring, build systems, and help redefine what recruiting could look like in a fast-growing startup.
I doubted myself at almost every step, but I took on the challenge to build a high-functioning team and to redefine recruiting in a way that actually supports the business.
Almost five years in, we’re a strong team of dedicated talent specialists spread across India and the Philippines. We’ve hired and retained over 400 employees in the past few years and learned a ton along the way; what scales, what breaks, and what truly moves the needle.
We’re an experiment-first team. We don’t flinch at ideas, we love them. Have a compelling idea? Pitch it. We’ll run with it. We’re equally big on learning and iteration, and today, nearly 50% of our workflows are automated, freeing our talent associates to focus on strategy and execution.
Now, we’re looking for strategists who execute. People who go beyond ticking off daily tasks and think about the bigger picture:
If this sounds exciting, and you have the energy to build, experiment, and own outcomes, I’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of our Recruitment team, you're going to have a wide-ranging group of responsibilities and goals. On a day-to-day basis, this means:
Qualifications:
Job Location: Work From Home / Remote
Working Hours: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday
Monthly Salary: Between $400 to $700, with a night allowance of $40
At Fresh Prints, we deeply value the long-term contributions of our team. To recognize and celebrate that commitment, we offer a 2-month paid Sabbatical to eligible employees.
Fresh Prints never charges any money during the hiring process. If you’re asked to pay for a job, it’s not real.
Fresh Prints is an equal employment opportunity employer and promotes diversity; actively encouraging people of all backgrounds, ages, LGBTQ+, and those with disabilities to apply.

About Ascend
Ascend helps founders, investors, and executives book international business and first-class flights at rates that are typically 30-80% below what you would find on a regular booking site. We combine smart, proprietary booking methods with round-the-clock personal service delivered over WhatsApp.

You will work across multiple booking strategies, including award travel, loyalty program redemptions, and premium fare inventory, and you will communicate with clients in a way that always feels warm, fast, and professional.
This is an individual contributor role. You are the person the client interacts with, and your work directly determines the quality of their experience.

Mura is an early stage, venture-backed startup helping commercial HVAC providers accelerate and automate their billing cycle. Commercial HVAC companies currently manage their billing out of offline PDFs, spreadsheets, email, and third party portals. Mura streamlines the process so that companies get paid faster and are able to scale without hiring more people.
Mura has automated over 100,000 invoices in the past few months and closed 18 customers - including the largest PE-backed operator in the space. The field service software market is a $170B+ opportunity, and we’re building the category-defining company.
Mura’s co-founders previously started LeafLink, a b2b cannabis marketplace that was backed by investors including Founders Fund, Lerer Hippeau, and Thrive Capital. LeafLink now moves 80% of the wholesale cannabis orders in the U.S. ($20B+). The team at Mura deeply understands b2b orders, and is excited to dive into a similar problem in commercial HVAC.
As one of the first engineers at Mura, you will play a key role in building the product that our customers are interacting with day-to-day, and the platform on which we will grow moving forward.
This is not just a coding role. You will be expected to deeply understand the customer’s needs and make product decisions. You will need to architect systems with an eye to efficient scaling, help with customer launches, analyze data, and generally perform what tasks are necessary for Mura to consistently deliver more value to customers.
You will also be writing a lot of code. As a result of being an early stage startup, we wouldn’t want to hide this reality to prospective candidates: raw hours actually make a big difference in the impact we can make right now. This won’t always be the case but it is at present. So, often we find ourselves working later in the evening, and occasionally during the weekend.
Own product feature development from specification to successful launch to iterating until it meets the metrics we are trying to reach.
Building integrations into new field service management systems (FSMs - our customers’ system of record) to expand Mura’s total addressable market.
Work on infrastructure improvement projects, like speeding up our CI or deployment process.
Periodically handle on-call duties to make sure we never have extensive downtime for our customers.
Writes clean, reusable code
Good systems design understanding and knowledge
Cares about product outcomes, not just engineering outcomes
Excellent communicator
Thrives in uncertainty
Competitive salary
The best tutorial on starting a company you can find. Twice-successful founders that are transparent and collaborative on the direction of the company
Flexible vacation and PTO

Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom apparel startup, but at its core, we’re a platform for opportunity.
We partner with ambitious students across the U.S., giving them the capital, training, and support to build real businesses on their campuses. What starts as selling custom merch often turns into something much bigger - ownership, confidence, and a first taste of entrepreneurship.
Behind the scenes, we’re a fast-growing, high-output team building the systems, structure, and support that make all of this possible. And that’s where Finance - and more specifically, Collections - comes in.
One thing I’ve always believed in is simple: every single dollar that flows through a company deserves attention.
Not in a rigid or bureaucratic way - but in a way that reflects ownership. When money comes in, we should know where it came from, why it came in, and whether it’s been accounted for correctly. When something doesn’t add up, we don’t ignore it - we dig in, understand it, and fix it.
That level of care isn’t driven by process alone. It’s driven by mindset.
The second belief I hold strongly is that problems are meant to be surfaced, not hidden. If there’s a gap, an error, or something that feels off, the expectation is to call it out. Not to assign blame, but to make the system better. Improvement here is a shared responsibility.
And lastly, I believe in thoughtful disagreement. The best outcomes don’t come from everyone agreeing - they come from people who are willing to challenge ideas, back their thinking, and work toward the best solution together. If you have a perspective, you’re expected to bring it to the table.
What stood out to me when I joined Fresh Prints is how naturally these principles already existed here. It’s a culture where ownership is real, feedback is welcomed, and people genuinely want each other to succeed.
The Finance team is responsible for everything that touches money at Fresh Prints - over $30M in annual revenue, flowing across customers, Campus Managers, suppliers, and printers.
But this role, specifically, sits at the heart of Collections - where revenue becomes real.
This isn’t just about following up on payments. It’s about building systems that ensure:
We’re constantly asking questions like:
As a Collections Manager, you won’t just manage these processes - you’ll own and evolve them.
You’ll lead a small but high-impact team, set the metrics that matter, and play a key role in shaping how money moves through the company as we scale. You’ll work closely with leadership, including Josh (CEO), and have the autonomy to drive meaningful change.

Bored with incremental improvements to PDPs, catalogs, and search but still in love with the potential impact of ecomm tech? Come talk to us.
We’re looking for hungry PMs who have experience guiding site visitors through checkout and want to apply that skill to a next-level challenge.
Fresh Prints is the largest collegiate custom apparel company in the US, which means the “product” we sell is an infinite set of permutations across: Design + Garment + Print Method. To make things even harder, when a customer creates one of those permutations, we have to actually physically produce it, which means our ecomm tech must also apply all appropriate constraints.
We’ve built and released a design tool, website, management portal, and checkout experience in house to allow for that, but we have a ways to go to scale it well. So you’ll answer questions like:
Some solutions will demand changes to our customer-facing tech, others will require better data structures, and many will leverage gen AI and the MCP endpoints we’ve developed.
You’ll be expected to lead on Product for all of that and everything in between. You’ll own the customer-facing e-commerce and design experience end-to-end.

Ticketing Member | Remote | Luxury Travel
About Ascend
Ascend helps founders, investors, and executives book international business and first-class flights at rates that are typically 30-80% below what you would find on a regular booking site. We combine smart, proprietary booking methods with round-the-clock personal service delivered over WhatsApp.
We have grown from 12 to 66 people in just over a year, backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, and 5x'd our revenue year-over-year. We are at $22M+ ARR and growing fast. Our mission is to make first-class travel accessible to the people who are shaping the world.
Our clients are founders, investors, and senior executives who expect fast, accurate, and polished service. They do not chase confirmations. They trust us to get it right every time.
The Role
We are hiring a Ticketing Member to issue flight bookings accurately and on time, every shift, using Sabre.
Sabre is the booking system at the center of this role. It is a specialized, command-based platform that the global airline industry uses to manage flights, fares, and reservations. In this role, you will use it every day to create and manage booking records, price fares, issue tickets, process changes, and handle voids and refunds. You need to already be comfortable working in Sabre
independently. This is not a role where we teach Sabre from scratch.
Once a client approves a booking, it comes to you. Your job is to take that approved booking and issue a confirmed airline ticket in Sabre, using the right booking account, with the correct passenger details, and in line with the fare rules attached to that ticket. Every detail matters. You work closely with your Ticketing Team Lead, who assigns your work and is there for escalations, but you are expected to work accurately and independently within clear processes.

Hey! I am Mahak. In 2022, I was an Assistant Professor pursuing a PhD in Finance. That was the "big career." If you told me then I’d end up in Sales, I would’ve lectured you for an hour on why I was meant for a classroom, not a CRM. I was playing it safe in academia, convinced I’d reached the pinnacle.
Then I joined Fresh Prints in December 2022. It was a total U-turn.
I went from "Professor Mahak" to a Junior ISA. On paper, it looked like a massive step backward. A total entry-level grind after years of academic prestige. My ego took a hit. I was starting from scratch in a field that used to terrify me.
But Day 1 was a reality check. I saw 21-year-olds demolishing their goals with a level of fire I’d never seen in a lecture hall. I realized my degrees didn't matter as much as my drive.
Core Memory: The Sunday Morning Email: A few weeks in, I got a team-wide email from Jacob (our Co-Founder) titled “How to establish a great first connection.” I opened it and froze. He used an email I had sent to a client as the perfect example of what not to do. :’)
It was a tough pill to swallow. I was devastated, but also shocked. I had no idea the leadership was watching so closely or cared that much about an entry-level associate's growth. I didn't quit; I reflected. Jacob kept working with me because he saw me actually listening. Exactly one month later, Jacob shared a new example of perfect client communication with the team. This time, it was me. I traded the lecture notes for a headset and stepped into the limelight.
Seven months in? Promoted to Level I. A year later, my boss, Dylan, asked the ultimate question: “Do you want to grow as a solo contributor, or do you want to lead?” Most people would’ve asked for a manual or a training week. I just felt electric. I’d led clubs in college and always had that "Commander" energy; I just never knew a corporate job would actually let me unleash it.
I didn’t just swim; I built a fleet. Within 10 months, I was promoted to Inside Sales Manager.
Today, my "PhD" stands for Powerhouse Development (haha, jk!). My day-to-day isn't just management; it’s about architecting the success of my team. I work directly with my ISAs to dismantle their targets, build closing strategies, and turn Junior ISAs into Key Account Managers who scale business through high-value referrals.
Fresh Prints is a high-speed experiment in autonomy. I went from teaching theory to driving real-world impact, and I haven't looked back since.
If you have the energy to build, experiment, and own outcomes, I’d love to hear from you.
As an Inside Sales Associate, you’ll be a key piece of our revenue engine. In this role, you will:

This is Ayushi, the Recruiting Manager at Fresh Prints.
Fresh Prints was my first full-time job after finishing my degree. I joined thinking it’d be a place to try new things and see where it takes me — and that mindset ended up shaping my entire growth here.
I started as a Training Associate, coaching Campus Managers who would eventually be doing sales, even though I had never done sales myself. That experience quickly showed me what Fresh Prints truly values: not what you already know, but how fast you learn, how well you take feedback, and how willing you are to figure things out.
Less than two years later, I moved into campus recruiting, hiring the very role I once trained. Having seen Campus Managers from training, interviewing, and recruiting gave me a clear view of what actually predicts success — far beyond resumes or college names.
When I joined, campus recruiting was largely volume-driven. Over time, we shifted our focus to quality, rethinking how we source, evaluate, and engage candidates. We experimented beyond LinkedIn — across Handshake, social campaigns, and unconventional channels — and built a process that values thoughtful outreach and iteration.
The Campus Recruiters who do well here are consistent, persistent, and deeply ownership-driven. They build routines, keep experimenting, and don’t wait to be told what to fix.
My growth at Fresh Prints came from taking ownership and staying curious. If you’re excited to build, experiment, and shape how we hire the next generation of Campus Managers, this role gives you the space to do exactly that.
Your job is to help Fresh Prints find more incredible students who drive revenue. You’ll do this by working directly on sourcing, qualifying, and converting leads into Campus Managers.
If this sounds exciting, and you have the energy to build, experiment, and own outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.

Hi, I’m Nas, one of the founding members of the Inside Sales team at Fresh Prints.
When I joined Fresh Prints as an Operations Associate in 2018, I never imagined how much this journey would transform my career. A year into my role, Jacob approached me about an exciting experiment - building an Inside Sales team from scratch. Sales had always been my passion, so I jumped at the chance. Back then, we had no processes, no roadmap - just a blank slate.
Over the next few months, Jacob, Vaibhav, and I built the entire foundation of our inside sales process. From defining how associates close deals to setting up our CRM tracking, we created a system that would scale as the company grew. Fast forward to today: the team has expanded into multiple layers - ISAs, team leads, managers, and a dedicated Key Accounts team. Looking at how far we’ve come, I’m incredibly proud to have played a core role in shaping Fresh Prints’ sales strategy.
But what I love most about Fresh Prints is the meritocracy. Over six years, I’ve been promoted every single year; not because of tenure, but because the company truly rewards results. Whether you’re fresh out of college or transitioning from a different role, if you prove your potential, you’ll grow here.
For me, being a salesperson at Fresh Prints feels like running my own business. I work directly with clients, have full autonomy over strategies, and make decisions that drive real impact. The company’s resources are there to support me, but I own the relationships and the results.
If you thrive in a high-ownership environment where innovation is encouraged and your growth is only limited by your ambition, you’ll love being an ISA here. This isn’t just another sales job - it’s a chance to build something extraordinary.
Here's a little more insight into the role:
