Position Summary
The Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer provides support for on-going projects that require the installation, testing, and implementation of new z/OS operating systems and other 'system' software. Includes: Maintenance and debugging of systems software, Coordination with other technical teams (CICS, Database, Network, Hardware/Storage, etc) in accomplishing assigned tasks, Research and evaluation of new software and hardware products, Assisting team members and other areas with technical questions and problem resolution, Monitoring and tuning of systems software, Functional knowledge, use of z/OS components and detailed knowledge of support products such as tape management, scheduling, security, monitoring systems, and other z/OS supporting systems software. Note: This is not an Applications Programming position.
Position reports to Manager, Mainframe Systems Programming.
Key Areas of Focus for this Role
Installation and maintenance of Mainframe Systems Infrastructure software (including z/OS and/or ISV products) in support of Software Lifecycle Management
Incident / Problem resolution
z/OS & Tools your main tasks are related to:
Incident, change and problem handling.
Configuration and customization.
Setup of parameters.
Communication with vendors.
Participation/contribution to technical projects.
In depth knowledge and understanding of z/OS and related product software z/OS.
PARMLIB configuration and JES2 customization.
Ability to support in solving problems and implementing changes on z/OS environments.
Advanced knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to take the lead in problem solving and coordination of multi-disciplinary groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience within a mainframe environment within a large enterprise
Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience
Knowledge and understanding of z/OS and z/OS installation and maintenance including SMP/E.
Advanced knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL.
Advanced knowledge of Unix System Services (USS)
Advanced knowledge of Unix System Services (USS) file system management and security
Experience installing software within Unix System Services (USS)
Ability to work well as a team member.
Stress resistant in case of Major Incident- and/or emergency situations.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Customer Service skills at management level
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams as well as provide guidance to junior team members.
Methodical and disciplined approach to work.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $80,000 to $148,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing a team within a mainframe environment within a large enterprise or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience
Technical knowledge across multiple Mainframe teams
Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) to a level of creating documents which can be shared with clients.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Customer Service skills at management level
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Senior DB2 Systems Programmer
Position Summary
Provide premium DB2 system programming support and services to Ensono mainframe clients.
The successful candidate will perform mainframe DB2 database related system administration tasks and tuning to support our customers’ DB2 environments. The individual will need to work with vendor personnel to achieve timely solutions of database problems. The individual will be responsible for day-to-day database maintenance such as creating backups, performing restores, monitoring file extent growth, scheduling reorganizations, creating and maintaining DR procedures and overall support of customer needs and requests.
The successful candidate will be called upon to perform a variety of database optimizations that will include general reporting and analysis of the efficiency of the database configuration and periodic review of database performance.
