Responsibilities:

• Own and drive member activation and engagement metrics across Lantern's full client portfolio, including surgery, oncology, and infusion therapy lines of business
• Develop and execute multi-channel member engagement strategies (email, SMS, direct mail, employer communications, digital) to increase awareness and member response rates
• Build and manage scalable onboarding and launch playbooks for new employer and health plan clients, ensuring fast time-to-activation for newly eligible members
• Partner with Client Success & internal Marketing teams to identify opportunities within existing accounts to improve member engagement and deepen program penetration
• Use data and analytics to segment member populations, identify high-opportunity cohorts, and personalize activation outreach for maximum impact
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop compelling member-facing content and campaigns that clearly communicate the value of Lantern's benefits
• Lead A/B testing and experimentation programs to continuously improve engagement rates, conversion, and member satisfaction

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing or a related growth/marketing function
• 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role with responsibility for strategy, team management, and measurable business outcomes
• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling member or consumer engagement programs - healthcare, benefits, or related industry experience is helpful, but not required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
• Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and BI tools
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions — including client-facing teams, marketing, product, and analytics stakeholders

• Own and evolve Lantern's MarTech stack — including marketing automation, CRM, CDP, analytics, and campaign management platforms — ensuring tools are integrated, well-governed, and fully leveraged

Lantern is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Client Activation, to drive member engagement and utilization across a dynamic portfolio of clients. This role serves as a strategic partner to both clients and internal teams, maintaining a small book of business (BoB) while also supporting high-priority clients based on engagement and utilization performance. About the Team 

Commercial Strategy & Operations (“CSO”) (i.e., Lantern’s Revenue Operations team) supports the President and his broader go-to-market function, including Employer Sales, Employer Client Success, Provider Network Growth and Success, Marketing, and Partnerships (health plans, ecosystem partners). CSO is responsible for Commercial strategy (how we grow), planning (resourcing, goals, compensation), insights, systems & tools, and data. This role sits within CSO and directly supports the Network function.  

Network is an end-to-end Commercial team within Lantern’s broader Commercial organization, which encompasses: 

1. Growth: adding new, high-quality providers to our Network, which is our core offering to the market and expands access to our 12 million members

Your Mission 

The Network team underpins Lantern’s differentiated Network of Excellence model, which enables the company to deliver lower-cost, higher-quality specialty care to millions of members across the US. By contracting with top-performing providers nationwide and pairing that network with concierge navigation and rigorous clinical analytics, you will be supporting the team that allows Lantern to reduce specialty care costs for employers and members, improve outcomes, and deliver a superior member experience. 

Reporting to the VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations, the Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Operations – Network Field Operations will serve as the primary strategic and operational partner to the SVP of Network and her leadership team. You will enable the SVP of Network to achieve her objectives through best-in-class annual planning, systems and AI-led automation, data capture, operating rhythms, insights, and day-to-day execution. 

You will act as both a thought partner and operator, translating strategy into execution across Growth, Implementation, and Success. You will build and run the Network Rhythm of the Business, including forecasting and client health, as well as developing the growth plans, financial models, and cross-functional dependencies to scale the Network team at Lantern. You will manage two individual contributors on the team to support these objectives.

The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. The estimated salary range for New York based candidates is $140,000 - $180,000 plus annual discretionary bonus.
