Tenure: Employee tenure requirements are based on whether the new position is within the employee’s current department or outside of the employee’s current department as follows:
For positions inside the employee’s current department, the general guideline is that you must have a minimum of six (6) months tenure in their current position; however, department heads will have discretion to reduce this requirement. Employees meeting the first two criteria listed above are eligible to apply for a new role, either laterally or vertically, within their current department after receiving their manager and department head’s approval and after completing their sixth month.
Positions outside of the employee’s current department require a minimum of twelve (12) months tenure in their current position. Employees meeting the first two criteria listed above are eligible to apply for a new role, either laterally or vertically, regardless of department or function upon completing their twelfth month in their current role.
