The EDB Go To Market Enablement & Field Product Marketing team is the strategic field arm of EDB's go-to-market motion — bridging product depth and market reality to take EDB Postgres AI to market, learn what wins, and make it repeatable across the field.
The Field Product Marketing Manager is the market-facing strategist at the center of EDB's field GTM motion — the primary point for lighthouse customer engagements, the owner of the campaigns and full bill of materials that activate sales plays, and the intelligence layer that feeds what's real back into how EDB positions and sells.
What your impact will be:
- You'll engage directly with lighthouse customers to validate use cases, pressure-test messaging, and uncover the value propositions that move deals forward — then bring those insights back to sharpen how EDB Postgres AI is positioned and sold.
- You'll build the playbook context and field-facing assets that make core PMM messaging real and usable for the sales field — including use case narratives, competitive context, and customer-facing proof points.
- You'll identify repeatable patterns from signature customer wins and work with PMM and Enablement to turn them into scalable motions the whole field can run.
- You'll show up to strategic customer meetings where product depth and business context matter, serving as the link between what the product does and what the customer is trying to solve.
- You'll feed a continuous stream of market intelligence — what's resonating, what's breaking down, what customers are asking for — back into the team to keep what gets built relevant and competitive.
What you will bring:
- At least 7 years in product marketing, field marketing, or a related go-to-market role at a high growth technology company.
- Deep experience working directly with customers and field sales teams — you're comfortable in strategic customer meetings and know how to translate technical depth into business value.
- Strong instincts for what makes a sales play work — you understand pipeline context, deal dynamics, and what the field actually needs to win.
- Experience building field-facing assets such as playbooks, use cases, competitive positioning, and customer narratives grounded in real-world wins.

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our global Product Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Sales Enablement functions. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this leader will own how we position our data and AI platform in the market, how we launch and scale revenue across customer segments, and how we equip our sales and partner ecosystem to win.
This is a high-visibility role for a senior leader who has built and scaled Product Marketing and GTM organizations within the database, data infrastructure, or broader enterprise software industry. You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to translate deep technical capability into clear customer value, predictable pipeline, and market leadership.
Your impact will be:
- Product Marketing & Positioning
- Define and evolve the company's positioning, messaging, and narrative across product lines, audiences (developers, DBAs, data architects, CIOs, CDOs), and competitive contexts.
- Lead market segmentation, ICP definition, buyer/user persona development, and competitive intelligence for the database market (relational, distributed, cloud-native, AI/vector, analytics, etc.).
- Work on the analyst relations and influencer strategy; serve as a credible spokesperson with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and the technical press
- Go-To-Market Strategy & Execution
- Build and operate the end-to-end GTM motion across sales-led, and partner-led channels. PLG experience a bonus since we will lean more in that direction for future offerings.
- Lead product launches and category-defining campaigns from strategy through cross-functional execution and measurement.
- Partner with Demand Generation to translate positioning into pipeline; own GTM contribution to revenue targets.
- Define and refine the GTM playbooks for new markets, new segments (mid-market through Global 2000), and new products.
- Sales & Partner Enablement
- Build a world-class enablement function covering onboarding, ongoing skill development, certification, and tooling for direct sellers, SEs, partners, and customer-facing teams.
- Leverage AI to scale.Develop role-based curricula and content (pitch decks, demos, battlecards, ROI tools, technical whitepapers, customer stories) that measurably improve win rates, ramp time, and deal velocity.

What you will bring:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, GTM, and/or enablement leadership roles within enterprise software, with at least 5+ years at the VP level leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep, demonstrable experience in the database, data platform, or data infrastructure space — examples include relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), distributed/NoSQL, cloud data warehouses, streaming, vector/AI databases, or related data tooling.
- Track record of driving meaningful revenue and category outcomes — not just shipping launches and content, but moving pipeline, win rate, ARR, and market perception.
- Fluency in selling to and marketing for technical buyers (developers, DBAs, platform engineers, data and infrastructure leaders) as well as economic buyers in the enterprise.
- Experience operating across multiple GTM motions: product-led/self-serve, inside sales, enterprise field sales, and partner/channel ecosystems (hyperscalers, SIs, ISVs).
- Strong analyst relations track record with Gartner, Forrester, and similar.
- Excellent executive communication skills; comfortable presenting to boards, customers, analysts, and large internal audiences.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree a plus.

Job Summary
As a Staff Security Engineer at EDB, you will be a technical leader with a developer-centric background, responsible for designing and implementing security architectures that protect EDB's products, infrastructure, and customers. You will lead cross-functional application security initiatives, build automation and tooling that multiplies the impact of the entire InfoSec organization, drive vulnerability disclosure investigations, and ensure our security posture meets regulatory requirements. You will build deep trust with engineering teams by speaking their language, reviewing their code, and partnering with them to ship secure software.
This is a role designed for someone who wants to grow. As a member of a small, high-impact security team, you'll have the autonomy to shape security strategy and the runway to grow into a broader InfoSec leadership role over time. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional application security initiatives to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks across EDB's products.
- Write and review code to build security automation and tooling that serves the full InfoSec organization accelerating the team's ability to detect, respond, and remediate.
- Build & orchestrate security agents deploying AI-driven security tools using LLMs and orchestration frameworks (LangChain) to automate threat modeling, alert triaging, and code analysis.
- Partner with internal teams to implement security guardrails for internal AI applications, focusing on prompt injection mitigation, data leakage prevention, and secure architectures.
- Integrate AI tools into the SDLC to perform automated architectural risk assessments, security reviews, and identify vulnerabilities in generated code or toolsets.
- Design and integrate complex security architectures across cloud and on-premise environments, strengthening EDB's overall defense posture against advanced threats.
- Lead vulnerability disclosure investigations, coordinating with engineering teams to assess impact, validate findings, and drive timely remediation.
- Embed security into the software development lifecycle through secure design reviews, code review, threat modeling, and ongoing partnership with engineering and product teams. Build trust with development teams by meeting them where they are, respecting their workflows, and delivering clear guidance throughout implementation.
- Deliver security solutions as minimum valuable products, starting with the smallest solution that provides the needed value and iterating over time as capacity allows.

Requirements
- A developer-centric background with demonstrated ability to write and review production-quality code in Python, Go, or a comparable language.
- Hands-on LLM engineering with proven experience working with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) and "AI-as-a-Service" kits to build functional internal tools or security automations.
- Deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, including risks like prompt injection, insecure output handling, and training data poisoning.
- Ability to craft complex, multi-shot prompts and system instructions to ensure AI security agents provide high-fidelity, low-noise results.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional application security initiatives in complex, distributed environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading vulnerability disclosure investigations, including impact assessment, coordination with engineering teams, and driving remediation. (You don't need to be able to write novel exploits — you need to assess risk and drive fixes.)
- Proven ability to build trust with development teams: reviewing their code, engaging in their design discussions, and partnering as a peer rather than a gatekeeper.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, translate technical security concerns into business risks, and negotiate priorities with partner teams to get security initiatives on shared roadmaps.
- An empathetic, collaborative approach to working with partner teams, respecting their processes and assuming the best while still driving accountability for security outcomes.

Role Overview
We are in search of a talented backend developer with a strong background in systems and data integration. Our team leverages databases, event streaming, Cloud Service Provider (CSP) services, and EDB software to create fault-tolerant and high-performance data solutions. Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled PGD Developer to design, implement, and maintain the EDB Postgres Distributed (PGD) product, a multi-master distributed PostgreSQL solution that provides high availability, geographic distribution, and active-active replication for enterprise workloads.
As a member of the team, you will work directly on PGD’s architecture design, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing capabilities with EDB’s quality standards.

- Design, develop, test, and document new PGD capabilities
- Maintain and improve the performance and usability of existing PGD capabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL and Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and maintain the EDB Postgres Distributed (PGD) Operator on a multi-master distributed PostgreSQL solution that provides high availability, geographic distribution, and active-active replication for enterprise workloads.
As a member of the team, you will work directly on PGD operator’s architecture design, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing capabilities with EDB’s quality standards.

- Design, develop, test, and document Kubernetes operators to manage PGD clusters in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments

We are looking for a Product Manager who is excited to improve the end-to-end experience of our core platform offering. This role will focus on the customer journey from initial install and setup through onboarding, ongoing administration, upgrades, and day 2 operations. You will partner across engineering, design, support, and go-to-market teams to identify friction, define priorities, and deliver a more seamless experience for enterprise users.
Your impact will be:
- Working cross-functionally across engineering, design, support, sales, and marketing to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
- Helping define and prioritize improvements across installation, setup, onboarding, usability, and ongoing operational workflows.
- Partnering with engineering and design to translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and roadmap priorities.
- Identifying friction points in the user journey and driving solutions that improve adoption, time to value, and ongoing usability.
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure the experience is reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise customer needs.
- Supporting product launches by working with product marketing and enablement to prepare internal teams for new capabilities.
- Bringing a curious, practical, and collaborative approach to solving customer and platform challenges.
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a product manager or in a closely related role working on software products.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to break down complex problems and turn them into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Customer focus and an interest in improving onboarding, usability, and operational experiences.
- Solid understanding of product management fundamentals and modern software development processes.
What will give you an edge:
- Experience with installation, onboarding, administration, or platform workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise software, infrastructure, or systems-oriented products.
- Experience working closely with support or customer-facing teams to identify and address product friction.
- Technical background or comfort working with engineering teams in complex product areas.

- AI Adoption Ownership: Drive measurable adoption of EDB Postgres AI capabilities through targeted programs, messaging, and initiatives that influence prospects to become customers. This is your north star.
- Market-Leading Positioning: Own the narrative that makes EDB Postgres AI the default choice for enterprises building agentic applications (measured by analyst recognition, competitive win rates, and market share of voice).
- Strategic GTM Execution: Drive the end-to-end strategy for AI product launches, including messaging frameworks, adoption programs, and cross-functional execution.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal and external expert on AI personas, their journeys, and the business requirements for modern AI workloads.

What you will bring…
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role in an enterprise technology organization.
- Success turning complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to use data and metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (e.g. across product, sales, and marketing) to deliver results.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.

- Proven expertise in the AI, analytics, or data infrastructure sectors.
- Experience developing competitive positioning against AI-native databases, vector stores, or hyperscaler data offerings.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and the open-source data ecosystem.
