Position Overview:

The Diligent Sales Development Representative I (SDR I) plays an instrumental role in the direct growth of Diligent by generating new business opportunities primarily through inbound leads. The SDR I engages with new leads to understand their business requirements and document these while being a brand ambassador for the Diligent products. An SDR I utilizes their strong conversational skills to maximise engagement and achieve targets. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading and rapidly growing business, highly focused on achieving goals and delivering results. The role offers an excellent basic and competitive commission structure, with high achievers given the opportunity to progress within the business. 

Key Responsibilities

Navigating CRM (Salesforce) to identify inbound prospects for targeting and enrich with additional information to create value conversations that lead to Initial Meetings 
Conduct sales development best practices through email, phone, and social activities using the various software tools to connect with new prospects 
Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably to qualify the right decisions makers 
Skillfully build interest and influence opportunities with inbound prospects 
Coordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executive’s calendar and log activities in the CRM 
Meet or exceed targets & key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by the business 
Other duties may be requested in accordance with business need

Required Experience/Skills

A keen interest for working in a sales-focused, target-driven environment. 
An understanding of the sales process (marketing, sales cycle) 
Demonstrated ability to articulate the unique proposition of Diligent solutions and obtain product knowledge 
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives 
Excellent presentation skills both verbally and written 
High energy, with a positive and can-do attitude that drives success.

Preferred Experience: 

Experience with sales, SaaS or senior executive communications is desirable

U.S pay range

$42,720—$53,400 USD

Position Overview:

As a Brand Marketing Intern based in Galway, you’ll play a key role in supporting Diligent’s local brand presence and employee experience, with a special focus on our partnership with the Galway International Arts Festival (GIAF). You’ll help bring this flagship cultural partnership to life through content creation and storytelling — from behind-the-scenes moments and on-site footage to short videos and employee reactions — ensuring the festival experience connects back to our people, culture, and brand.

You’ll also contribute ideas for employee engagement, brand visibility at the festival venue, and creative campaigns that reflect Diligent’s values. Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to partnership collaboration, event support, and employer brand marketing in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Senior Brand Manager (Galway) on internal communications, events, and creative brand initiatives.
Assist in planning and delivering culture-building events that reflect Diligent’s values and strengthen employee connection.
Contribute to content creation, messaging, and internal campaigns that enhance the overall employee experience.
Help bring the Diligent brand to life through local partnerships, including Galway United and the Galway International Arts Festival.
Gain hands-on experience across brand strategy, storytelling, and employer brand activation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Experience/Skills

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and creative thinking.
Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
Comfortable using Canva and CapCut (or similar tools), with a demonstrated interest in branding, marketing, or storytelling (coursework, side projects, content creation).
Previous involvement in university societies, volunteer work, event planning, community engagement, social media, or campus ambassadorship is a plus.
Based in or near Galway and excited to bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a proactive, hands-on approach to an on-site role.
