The team manages a variety of core accounting and reporting processes and controls globally and partners with Treasury, Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A, Leasing, Legal, and Tax to track, control, and provide visibility to the company’s compute and supporting assets. The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $168,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. What You’ll Do

CoreWeave is deploying capital at a scale few companies in history have matched, building and operating a rapidly expanding global fleet of wholly-owned data centers that power the next wave of AI. As Director, Infrastructure Accounting, you will own the financial accounting lifecycle of that buildout—from the first shovel in the ground through the full operating life of each asset and its eventual retirement.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Lease, Joint Ventures, VIE and Construction Accounting. You will be the company’s operational authority on data center construction accounting, PP&E lifecycle management, and the reporting and forecasting that give leadership clear visibility into one of CoreWeave’s most significant balance sheet categories.

You will partner closely with Construction, Real Estate, Operations, FP&A, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and the GL Accounting team to ensure that every dollar spent building CoreWeave’s infrastructure is captured, classified, and reported with precision. You will also work directly with external auditors and support SEC reporting on PP&E and CIP matters.

In this role, you will:

Construction-in-Progress (CIP) & Capital Project Accounting

• Own the end-to-end CIP accounting lifecycle for CoreWeave’s wholly-owned data center buildouts, from project commencement through asset commissioning and transfer to fixed assets.
• Maintain a project-level CIP ledger structure that gives real-time visibility into costs by project, phase, and activity type across a growing global portfolio.
• Apply and operationalize capitalization criteria under ASC 360, determining which direct costs (materials, labor, permits, site preparation, contractor fees) and qualifying indirect costs are capitalized versus expensed.
• Coordinate with Construction and Operations teams to determine asset in-service dates, asset classifications, component breakdowns, and useful life determinations that trigger the commencement of depreciation in the GL.
• Oversee interest capitalization on qualifying construction projects in accordance with ASC 835-20, including tracking of weighted-average accumulated expenditures and applicable borrowing rates.
• Monitor active CIP balances for impairment indicators, scope changes, project suspensions, or abandonments that may require write-down or write-off treatment, and escalate complex conclusions to the Senior Director as appropriate.

Asset Lifecycle Accounting — Reporting & Forecasting

• Oversee the preparation and recording of depreciation journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure underlying asset data (classification, useful life, in-service date, cost basis) is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
• Own depreciation reporting and forecasting: prepare and maintain depreciation schedules across the data center PP&E portfolio, and provide regular analysis of depreciation run-rates, useful life assumptions, and the financial impact of new asset placements.
• Build and maintain budget-to-actual reporting at the individual project level, with clear variance analysis that explains cost overruns, scope changes, and timing shifts to Finance leadership and FP&A.
• Partner with FP&A on capital expenditure forecasting, ensuring that pipeline project costs, anticipated CIP-to-fixed-asset transfers, and depreciation commencement timelines are accurately reflected in financial projections and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain executive-level reporting on the overall health and trajectory of CoreWeave’s data center capital program, providing actionable insights on spend performance, asset placement activity, and forward-looking depreciation impact.
• Support the accounting for asset retirements, disposals, and write-offs in coordination with the GL team, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and period-end recognition.

Contractor, Vendor & Billing Management

• Oversee the accounting for all contractor and vendor billings related to data center construction, including review of pay applications, progress billing schedules, retainage tracking, lien waivers, and change order accounting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Legal to ensure that contract terms, billing milestones, and payment structures are accurately reflected in the CIP ledger and classified to the correct project and cost category.
• Design and operate controls around contractor billing review to ensure costs are properly approved, coded to the correct project and GL account, and recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
• Manage the accounting for construction retainage balances, including appropriate balance sheet presentation, aging analysis, and timely release upon satisfaction of contractual milestones.
• Serve as the accounting point of contact for contractor and vendor billing disputes, coordinating with Procurement and Legal to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate period-end accruals.

Technical Accounting Guidance & Policy

• Serve as the operational subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP as applied to PP&E and capital projects, including ASC 360, ASC 835-20, and related standards.
• Draft and/or review technical accounting memos and internal guidance on construction accounting matters—including capitalization determinations, componentization, useful life assessments, and impairment analyses—escalating complex or novel issues to the Senior Director.
• Partner with the Senior Director on the accounting intersection of construction and lease/VIE matters, including build-to-suit arrangements and other structures that require coordinated ASC 842 or ASC 810 analysis.
• Maintain and update CoreWeave’s internal accounting policies and procedures for CIP, PP&E, and capital project accounting as the company’s data center program evolves.

External Reporting & Audit Support

• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K and 10-Q) by preparing and reviewing PP&E and CIP disclosures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with CoreWeave’s reporting standards as a publicly traded company.
• Partner with external auditors on all capital project accounting matters, providing well-organized support packages for CIP balances, capitalization determinations, asset placements, retainage, and impairment assessments.
• Maintain a robust audit trail across all active and completed capital projects, ensuring documentation standards meet both internal control requirements and external audit expectations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build, mentor, and manage a small team (initially 1–3 direct reports) of infrastructure accounting professionals, with a growth path as CoreWeave’s capital program scales.
• Design and implement SOX-compliant processes and controls over CIP accounting, asset placement coordination, and depreciation reporting to support CoreWeave’s public company compliance obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and tooling—including integration between project management platforms, the fixed asset sub-ledger, and the ERP—to increase accuracy, efficiency, and analytical capacity.
• Operate as a trusted accounting partner and advisor to Construction, Real Estate, Operations, Procurement, and FP&A stakeholders, translating accounting requirements into practical operational guidance.

• You have public company or SEC reporting experience, with direct involvement in PP&E or CIP disclosures in 10-K or 10-Q filings. Big Four public accounting background is a plus.

Position overview

CoreWeave is building out its next generation of data center infrastructure through a growing portfolio of joint ventures and variable interest entities. As we scale from a single JV to a multi-entity, multi-partner portfolio — including structures that require ongoing VIE analysis and potential consolidation — we are building the accounting function to match. The Senior Manager, Joint Venture and VIE Accounting will be the foundational hire for this function — owning end-to-end accounting and reporting for CoreWeave's JV and VIE entities, leading technical conclusions on consolidation, standing up the processes and controls that will underpin the function at scale, and directly supervising a team of senior accountants.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Lease, JV, VIE and DC Construction Accounting and sits at the intersection of technical accounting, operational execution, and cross-functional partnership. What you'll do

Joint venture accounting and reporting

• Own the end-to-end accounting for all JV entities in CoreWeave's portfolio, including monthly close, financial statement preparation, and partner reporting packages
• Manage distributions, capital calls, and waterfall calculations in accordance with JV operating agreements
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for JV partners, maintaining clear and professional communication on reporting timelines, deliverables, and accounting treatments
• Manage intercompany accounting across JV entities, including elimination of intercompany transactions, reconciliation of intercompany balances, and consolidation of JV financial statements into CoreWeave's consolidated reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors on JV-level audits and ensure audit readiness across all entities

VIE analysis and consolidation

• Lead the identification, assessment, and documentation of variable interest entities under ASC 810, including determining whether CoreWeave is the primary beneficiary and whether consolidation is required
• Perform and maintain ongoing reassessments of VIE conclusions as deal structures evolve, capital is contributed, or operating agreements are amended — and proactively flag events that could trigger reconsideration
• Prepare and maintain robust technical accounting memos supporting VIE and consolidation conclusions, written to withstand external audit scrutiny
• Collaborate with Legal and the deal team during deal structuring to model the accounting implications of proposed entity structures before agreements are finalized
• Maintain a VIE inventory and monitoring framework that scales as the number of structured entities grows

Technical accounting and compliance

• Apply ASC 323 to account for equity method investments where CoreWeave is not the primary beneficiary or managing member
• Calculate and record periodic equity pick-ups for non-consolidated JV entities, including tracking CoreWeave's proportionate share of earnings and losses, basis differences, and impairment indicators
• Partner with Legal and the deal team to review JV agreement terms and identify accounting implications prior to close
• Monitor and interpret evolving accounting guidance relevant to JV and structured finance arrangements

Process and controls

• Design, document, and implement scalable accounting processes and SOX-compliant controls for the JV function
• Build the infrastructure — templates, checklists, close calendars, and reporting packages — to support a growing portfolio of JV entities
• Identify and drive ERP and systems enhancements to support JV accounting workflows

AI tools and innovation

• Identify and implement AI-powered tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of JV and VIE accounting workflows, including close automation, document review, and reporting
• Evaluate emerging AI solutions for technical accounting research, contract analysis, and variance commentary — and bring a point of view on where automation can reduce manual effort without compromising control integrity
• Partner with Finance Technology and the broader accounting team to pilot and scale AI tools that improve the JV function's capacity to support a growing entity portfolio
• Stay current on AI developments relevant to accounting operations and serve as a thought leader within the team on responsible adoption

Team leadership

• Directly manage 1–2 Senior Accountants and provide coaching, review, and professional development support
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal as a subject matter expert on JV accounting matters
• Support the Sr. Director of Accounting on special projects, deal diligence, and executive reporting as needed

• Strong communicator who can translate complex accounting positions to non-accounting partners and JV counterparties with clarity and confidence
• CPA required
• Experience in infrastructure, real estate, data centers, or capital-intensive industries is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite in a multi-entity environment is a plus
• Curiosity about and comfort with AI tools — experience applying AI to accounting workflows (close automation, contract review, technical research) is a meaningful plus

What You’ll Do:

The Fixed Asset Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the fixed asset function related to global data center construction and expansion. This role reports to the Fixed Asset Director of Operations Accounting and is a key contributor to the company’s month-end close, capitalization, and reporting processes. The Senior Analyst will work on the ongoing development, management, and administration of fixed asset accounting as it relates to fixed assets, construction-in-progress and data center builds. This includes close collaboration with data center operations, supply chain, engineering, project managers, and inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking, capitalization, and lifecycle management of construction-in-progress (CIP) and fixed assets.

About the Role:

As Director of the Controllership Transformation team, you will lead the Controllership organization on our fast paced, growth journey.  This team is responsible for identifying, designing and implementing the areas for automation, including the use of AI and ERP transformations as well as integrating acquired companies.  With system changes also comes process changes that must be carefully managed and designed to take full advantage of the system changes and ensure ongoing SOX compliance. And finally, with a growing system infrastructure to support the Controllership and foundation of the accounting books of record, this leader will also oversee governance of the Controllership master data.

• Shape and drive the future vision of the Controllership organization, working with leadership across the Finance organization and cross-functional teams

About the Role

This role will own the financial coverage and support for CoreWeave’s serverless product suite. Day-to-day you will build and maintain forecasting models, develop cost-to-serve frameworks that connect GPU utilization to product-level margin, and support deal evaluation for new commercial agreements. You will partner directly with product, sales, and engineering to translate infrastructure economics into actionable financial insight, and you will be expected to leverage AI tooling to automate routine analytical workflows so your time stays focused on judgment-intensive work. This is a high-visibility role on a small team, and your output will go directly to senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Own the rolling forecast for serverless inference revenue, third-party hosting spend, and SaaS product P&Ls — including variance analysis and monthly reporting to finance leadership
• Build and maintain GPU utilization-to-margin models that surface real-time breakeven signals across hardware configurations and customer workloads
• Develop customer-level cost-to-serve intelligence for SaaS products, mapping infrastructure spend to revenue and identifying margin risk at renewal

Who You Are

The Accounting Inventory Manager will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development, management and administration of our global inventory accounting operations activities. In this role, you will be responsible to support our data center inventory control specialists and data center operations leaders while maintaining proper financial reporting and controls. 

About the Role:

Inventory accounting is a start-up organization within the Operations Accounting team and many processes need to be designed from scratch or redesigned for efficiency.  You will partner closely with the Fixed Assets team, as inventory eventually becomes part of fixed assets.

You’ll join CoreWeave’s Data Center Finance team, a group responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analytics that support the rapid scaling of our global data center footprint. The team partners closely with operations, capacity planning, power, sustainability, and executive leadership to drive informed decision-making across one of the most critical parts of the business.

About the role:

We are seeking a high-performing, self-sufficient Finance Manager to join our Data Center Finance team. The Finance Manager will support the Data Center Finance Lead, Head of FP&A, and other stakeholders to support, analyze, and improve the core operational models and metrics used to drive the rapid scaling of the business. This person will work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of CoreWeave and have frequent opportunities to interact with and support key executive level decision makers. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Center OpEx Planning & Forecasting: Own end-to-end financial planning processes for data center expenses related to leases, power, equipment financing, and general operating expenses.
• Data Center Power Planning & Forecasting: Build and maintain various forecasts related to our global power footprint including power deployment timing and alignment with capacity planning timelines.

About the Role

As the Manager, Treasury Accounting, you will play a critical role in leading the accounting and financial reporting for the company’s OEM and vendor financing arrangements, while also overseeing derivative and hedge accounting activities. Reporting to senior leadership within the CAO organization, you will own the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for vendor financing transactions, from initial evaluation and classification through ongoing operational accounting, reporting, and disclosure.

This role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. The successful candidate for this position will enjoy solving complex accounting issues and oversee the accounting analysis for Corporate Development related transactions, and work with 3rd party valuation specialists on purchase price allocations and valuation of privately held strategic investments. Further, the individual will support financial due diligence and M&A integration on an ad-hoc basis. 

• Draft high quality accounting memos and analysis for topics such as ASC 810, ASC 323, ASC 321, and ASC 320 for the purposes of supporting management’s conclusions and obtaining concurrence from external auditors 
• Monitor the financial performance of CoreWeave’s portfolio of strategic investments, including quarterly impairment analysis and identification of transactions that would necessitate fair value remeasurements

The Senior Manager, Accounting will lead and scale critical accounting operations within CoreWeave’s Global Business Services organization. This role is responsible for overseeing payroll accounting, commissions accounting, and core accounting processing performed by the GBS team. You will partner closely with Corporate Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, SOX-compliant controls, and continuous process improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R) activities. Who You Are

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including operational or shared services leadership
• 3+ years of people management experience, including managing managers or global teams
• Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll accounting and incentive compensation accruals, including bonus accrual calculations, reviews, reconciliations, and close-related journal entries, in partnership with People Operations and FP&A
• Demonstrated experience overseeing commissions accounting, including calculations, accruals, and coordination with Sales Operations
