The Associate Portfolio Sales Manager (Inside Sales Associate) will be responsible for engaging a portfolio of Convera’s corporate SME clients to drive revenue, retention and growth. This role involves:

• Achieving revenue targets in existing portfolio through retention, share of wallet growth and sales 

• Execute outbound revenue generating engagement with portfolio using data to identify opportunities to engage the customer 

• Onboard and nurture new clients onto our platforms 

• Promote a self-service model to our clients, utilizing our platform capabilities to enhance efficiency and client engagement 

Key Responsibilities:   

 Portfolio Management: 

• Support managing a portfolio of clients and conduct regular account reviews for key customers

• Utilize centrally generated Data and Analytics reports to target potential for cross/upsell within the portfolio 

• Work with the marketing team to develop and launch retention, win back and grow campaigns in portfolio 

• Promote a self-service model with the portfolio on our platform to enhance efficiency 

• Maintain detailed records of all interactions in the CRM system

• Support middle office teams with customers queries as appropriate

New business acquisition: 

• Utilize leads provided by marketing to acquire additional customers for the business

• Reach out to prospective clients (warm leads) via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote products and services 

• Deliver product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and pricing to prospective customers. 

• Leverage existing customer referrals to mine for new business 

Training & Development: 

• Ongoing training & development focusing on key attributes of the role 

• Stay up to date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitors to effectively answer questions and provide solutions 

 What you will need to succeed: 

Experience 

• 2+ years of progressive B2B sales and/or account management experience, preferably within the Corporate foreign exchange industry 

• English language fluency is a must as we speak to our customers and Convera colleagues in English
• You must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Singapore to be considered for this role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. 

• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments 

• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Gong, HighSpot, etc.) and other sales enablement tools. Tech-savvy with a passion for leveraging digital tools to enhance performance 

• It is beneficial if you come with experience, preferably in payments industry or financial services/fintech

Business Development Manager, Singapore

As a global leader in commercial payments that powers international business by moving money with ease, Convera is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of complex products, hedging solutions, and FX, within our Singapore office, supporting sales across APAC.

We are looking for tenacious, motivated individuals with a competitive mindset to build a pipeline of Corporate clients (e.g., import/export companies, multinationals, universities, NGOs) and achieve new business revenue by addressing their international payments and hedging needs. 

• Leverage your deep understanding of Convera’s value proposition to build a suitable pipeline to attract new clients for our B2B division
•  Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue setting targets, and report them on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to drive new business through a mix of payment and hedging solutions. 
• Proactively seek new business opportunities through cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and partnerships 
• Use sales tools like Salesforce, Highspot, and ZoomInfo to generate leads (using emails, cold calls, etc.) to generate new sales opportunities 
• Manage the sales cycle up to client onboarding, before transitioning to the client account management team 
• Introduce relevant support functions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Corporate Hedging Manager (CHM), and/or Sales Leaders/Heads of Desk to clients
• Influence clients ranging from start-up owners to directors, to C-suite executives of targeted corporations
• Maintain documentation of all relevant SFDC records (e.g., sales diary, prospect’s next steps, etc.) 
• Perform market analysis and attend industry events 
• This role is hybrid, split between WFH, and our modern central Singapore office (Robinson Road)

What we are looking for:

• 2-5+ years financial services sector experience in FX (i.e., understanding of financial markets and their instruments, such as SPOT, FWDS, Derivatives) or payments (i.e., understanding of Payments & technology market)
• B2B sales experience  
• Experience in consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition (including networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc.) 
• Strong understanding of bulk payment processing, international payments, accounting systems, and platform integration 
• Financially astute and proven ability to achieve or exceed KPIs and revenue targets 
• Ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced team environment 
• Fluent in English (oral and written), as all internal communication is in English 
• Foreign Exchange (FX) knowledge preferred, especially with payments, risk management, and/or hedging solutions 
• You must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this role.

Job Overview

In this role you will work with a portfolio of corporate customers on their foreign exchange and payments requirements to achieve set business goals.    You will actively engage with them to bring Convera’s services to bear on their business needs.

Responsibilities

• Customer relationship management
• Discovering the customers’ FX, hedging, and payments requirements and ensuring that they have access to Convera’s best in market suite of FX and payments solutions.
• Booking FX deals for corporate customers
• Staying on top of the FX markets

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Foreign Exchange Sales or Dealing is required to be considered for the role
• Proven ability to build and grow customer relationships
• Comfortable on the phone with corporate customers
• Pro-active in finding new relationships and opportunities
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
